Hey /ck/.
I don't go on this board too often but I want to go vegan and I was wondering how should I proceed doing this. I want to be as organic and non processed as possible while being nutritious and affordable. I'd appreciate advice on what to put on my grocery list.
Start with some epoisses and foie gras and then reconsider your life choices.
beans and rice

Kill yourself. Oh wait, you're already doing it, just slowly.
The instant ramens they sell around here in yurop are pretty boring, so i'm looking to obtain some of the really good asian stuff. I read some really good reviews of Samyang's "Spicy Chicken Noodles" (pictured) and Nissin's Raoh series.
Any good tips on other brands/varieties to look out for?

Noted. Better eat this one as it's nearing its expiration date...
>>8179441
I think its already expired as of 10/03.
I'll end up tossing it since the Asian market by my place always has it stocked, and i usually end up buying more than i can consume within a month.
Also, dont forget to add mushrooms, some finely sliced green onions, and pic related for the full blown master race experience
Sup guys
I started making bread a couple of months ago, this is my latest and greatest batch. What do you guys think?
>>8179376
Looks good, dude
How's the crumb?
it looks okay. what kind of bread is it?
i need to start baking bread again.
>>8179392
It's not as crisp as I wanted, it's still getting softer as the bread cools down. But it's better than the last ones I baked.
what the fuck, man?
Looks good to me

I feel like if i ate that i would get the power of the sun.

Deepest Dish'd is a very empowering food.
Could you make a living off being a farmer, /ck/ or is it just all a crapshoot?
>>8178297
>urban farmer
well theres your problem
Farmers that sell two sacks of carrots don't make a profit, those who sell 2 trucks of carrots a day make a profit.
>>8178313
Exactly. You either farm for profit or farm for yourself. There is no inbetween.
Alright /ck/, I've got about 25 onions that were leftover from work. What do? Anyone know any good recipes that call for a bunch of onions? I'd hate to waste them.
Make some goddamn onion soup.
onion soup onion rings, onion dip, there no so hard.
>>8178172
bake them in the oven, let them cool, use a very sharp knife to slice them , and then fry them in butter on medium for about 30 minutes until they're golden, put them on pretty much anything.
>go on yelp
>find a pic of any offal dish in your area
Ah, Cantonese...
>>8177994
I'd eat the shit out of that.
>>8177994
Nope
>>8177069
what about
I don't think I need another source of processed sugar in my diet
What's your favorite energy drink? There's nothing like the First Sip of the Day (tm) for me
The original is still the best.
>>8175920
Go back to /fit/ faggot.
Water gives me all the energy I need because I eat healthy and well balanced diet.
>>8176992
I think you mean /vg/.
This may be the wrong place to ask, but I'm an alcoholic who just spent $450 on winter tires. Problem is, now I'm broke af till Friday. Can my cheap ass wash out all my empty (20+) bottles with the same water, then drink it and get drunk? I figure it's not that easy but I have so many empty bottles that reek with vodka. I'd love any help.
(Also, yes I'm a sissy who lives in a pink room. Fuck me.)
>>8175826
Unlikely to the question about the water, probably not enough. Good on you for buying winter tires instead of alcohol though, even though I'm sure faggots are going to tell you they're a pointless waste, they are very important.
>>8175832
This.
Why not use this as an excuse to take a break from alcohol? it's a perfect time lmao
Can you eat the broccoli stalk raw or will it give you digestive problems?
Decided to eat healthier and I'm starting with kale and broccoli. I hate cooked vegetables though, the texture makes me gag.
Raw kale can give you kidney stones.
Use a vegetable peeler and take off the woody outer layer of the stems and you'll be fine.
>>8175762
Just chew it really well. I also think julienned broccoli stalks are a good addition to anything that you would use florets in.
Why does ever dish in the western world have to come with copious amounts of cream, butter and cheese?
What if you don't like that? It's hardly a subtle taste you can ignore, it's flavour dominates the meal.
>>8172270
Then don't eat it? Cream, butter and cheese are just delivery systems for fat and salt which appeal to almost everybody. But if you have something against lactose, then that's entirely different.
>>8172274
>Then don't eat it?
It's in EVERYTHING. Good luck getting a meal in a restaurant without it. They don't even tell you before hand, they just assume you like savoury dairy.
>>8172270
Boy, do I have some exciting new dishes for you!
What's the best macro swill? I've been drinking lots of the cheap canned beer and can barely tell a difference between any of them. None of them are that bad though as long as it's ice cold.
Busch is surprisingly good. Same with Old Milwakee. I usually go for budweiser though.
High life and keystone are my go to cheap beers. I used to be a coors/bud drinker

I made some cake a few hours ago and used the frosting in the image attached to top it. I want to give some to my girlfriend tomorrow, so I was wondering if I should refrigerate it or if it's safe to leave out tonight. The slice is in a tupperware container.
>>8179129
as long as it's airtight you should be good to leave it out.
source: i leave cakes out all the time and they are still moist as fuck
>>8179225
Thanks anon! Just re-checked to see if it was airtight. All good to go!
>>8179280
if it's just overnight it doesn't even have to be airtight, that'll just give you dat freshness. i've left cakes in a covered cake platter and they still stay moist for about a week.
>"A double McSpanky with fries and a Flurp. That'll be $6.53. And $3.47 will be your change."
>"Dude, you're supposed to push the buttons with pictures of food on them."
>"Don't need to Skeet, I memorized the prices and did the tax and change in my head."
Skeet was right. Register entry is used both for inventory tracking as well as final tally for profits
>>8177101
Skeet was somehow supposed to be in the wrong, here, when Jimmy's proven to be an insufferable cunt.
The real moral of the show is to do things normally and not try to make anything spectacular to fix them.
