Our seas are getting invaded by the Kamchatka crab. Apparently it's good meat, so why don't we see more of it in the shops?
>>8187058
Because it generally eats the fisherman.
>>8187058
like most invasive species, people are fucking assholes and don't want to eat "trash food"
I'd devour this if it was actually cheap and available in my grocery store

If you can find it right away where you live, don't post it here.
(Coke, Sprite, Pibb, etc are not obscure, but Jones and Cheerwine are welcome.)
Remember, if you think it might not be obscure, it's probably not obscure.
Which one is your favorite?
Also, if you have obscure sodas in Britain or any other country, which ones are good?
What about Foxon Park then? It's not as common as your typical Coke or Pepsi on the market, but I do happen to find bottles of them once in a while at certain places. The local deli around my town has them though, so that's pretty neat. They also sell Orangina there too.
I live near the world's first cracker barrel and I have a friend who hooks me up with their shipments of Sioux City. Greatest sarsparilla I have ever had. Living in Tennessee has its perks
Before Cracker Barrel started stocking it this stuff was basically only available in Kentucky
and why is it milk?
>extremely dry mouth
>Drink basically diluted glue
>Mouth ends up drier and now sticky
What you want is something that moves around quickly and leaves no residue..Water..
>>8181098
OP made no mention of diluted glue anywhere in his post.
>>8181098

Lets talk about beer. what are you drinking? What's the best beer you've had? What do you usually drink? How many do you usually have?
>>8187752
4-5 tall goys twice a week. Usually just drink cheap stuff like Bud or Molson Canadian.
What do you mix with popcorn at the movie theater?
Me? I'd serve crab legs.

Split plate charge?
I own a restaurant. We've been here a little over 3 years and going strong. We've been known for our large portions and high quality food. We don't get fancy but we do pay attention to details and rarely have complaints or food sent back. We have sent people that come in and sit plates. In order to deter this we dropped the price of certain items and reduced the portion sizes on those items. Everyone has been happy with this except for the occasional extra penny pinching people. We still have fairly low cost items that people like to split. We even have a table that will bring friends in and encourage them to split these dishes between two people. It's borderline obnoxious. Currently we have never charged a split plate charge. Would it be a dick move to include a split plate charge? If we did what would be an appropriate charge? Our entrees range from $10-$15-$20-$30 per plate. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Some people do it because they're elderly and really just don't eat much, then there are those that are just being flat out cheap. If everyone did it. We probably wouldn't be in business long
We have some people that come in and split plates. Autocorrect got me

I don't know where you're from, but where I'm from it would totally be illegal (but you can make peoplepay for the service, that is there can be a fixed price like 1-2€ per person at the table + whatever they order).

Californian here
i totally understand when i go to a restaurant and there's a split plate fee for adults sharing single entrees; my partner and i take up 2 seats in your restaurant, even if we order only 1 entree
that said, split plate fees when parents try to get a meal for their children to share is a big no-no in my book
if you do introduce a split plate charge, you should do it as a % charge (something like 15% of the cost of the plate), and you should list it in fine print on the menu ("Entrees split between multiple adult customers will be subject to a 15% split plate charge")
i've seen restaurants that charge an additional split plate charge if a single individual wants a half-size portion of an entree just for themselves. i recognize that from a kitchen perspective, changing up the quantities in a given recipe might be a hassle, but personally, i would be frustrated if i were asked to pay more money for less food
>/ck/ turns me on to a new hot sauce/condiment
>can't stop eating it

It has just slightly less calories than mayonnaise, and I was eating it by the spoonful as though it were sriracha.
Thoughts on the grilled cheese donut?
Not that odd, people eat cheese + sweets all the time
Still, I don't personally like the idea because a simple glazed ponut is already perfectly delicious as it and doesn't really need anything extra
Yum
Moddern American Degeneracy.
Take a pot, fill it with water, put it on the fire and put in a handful of coarse salt, then cover the pan with a lid. Wait bubble, when you see bubble "buttate" the pasta. After half a minute, stir the pasta so it does not stick to the pot, in the meantime, since you do not have shit to do, take the box of pasta and watch the cooking time, drain the pasta 1 minute before the recommended cooking time and put it back quickly into the pan with the sauce and put over the heat to the maximum, stirring so the sauce does not stick to the pot. Turn off the heat, put the pasta on a plate and eat.
Sry for english i used google Translate.

Do you eat any canned food?
Only Kroger's brand black beans. Not as a side item either. Just a whole can of beans off the stove.
Only things like canned tomatoes, tuna/chicken, beans.
This over rice with cheese and a fried egg is a staple for me when stretching money till payday.

I enjoy mayonnaise, grape jelly and pickle sandwiches.
I like processed cheese slices on ham sandwiches more than any other cheese.
I like readiwhip from the can more than tubs of cool whip.
And I prefer spray cheese for crackers more than cut up real cheese chunks.
