I have the thing where cilantro kinda smells like stink bugs to me. I recently got some coriander seeds and they smell really nice. My question is: Does cilantro smell like coriander seeds to you? Is this how normal people taste cilantro?

I would like to say I could tell you but I'm 80% sure I've never tried coriander.
There's a hint of it, but not really. To me the seed is purely like a non-sour lemon while the leaf is a more intense but also slightly brighter parsley.

On a side note I have just tried to make a very similar thread. I made casserole yesterday, with some leftover pasta, grated cheese, sour cream, eggs, onions and ham. Put it into a small, well-oiled casserole dish and baked it in the oven for 30 min at 200°C/390°F in a convection oven until the cheese on the surface had browned really nicely. But when I removed it frome the casserole dish it was almost burnt where it had touched the sides of the dish. Just barely edible. How do I prevent that from happening? It was a very cheap sheet metal emaille dish with thin walls.
Do I lower the heat and just add the broiler at the end for browning the top?

Just top heat?
Should I place the casserole dish higher up or lower down?
Are beans, legumes, and grains healthy?
I'd like to think so because of their versatility and price.

No, it's basically boiled dough. They are are supposed to be soft, like pasta. No idea why they are called "dumplings". Spätzle are a typical southern German dish, from Swabia. They are perfect for Goulash or Geschnetzeltes. The traditional way of making thm is pretty unique: A ball of dough is place on a small, moistened board. Then a part of that dough it scraped/smeared over the cutting board towards its edge with a spatula. Then, inch by inch, the thin film of smeared dough is scraped off the board into a pot with boiling salt water. That is how that wormlike shape is made. Once all the smeaed dough has been scraped off, you smear another part off the dough ball across the board. Look up "Spätzle schaben" on youtube for videos.
