Hey /ck/
Just found out that my pupper is not long for this world. Thankfully i get to spend at least a few weeks with her until its time to put her down.
What should i make pupper for some of her last meals? Im thinking a steak would be good, but maybe I'm missing an obvious suggestion.
Thanks guys.
Just get it some good food from a good joint, like a good Italian place or something.
here's another older pic of the happy pup
I recommend a high carb diet as well as rich meats. Predatory animals don't taste very good usually, but it will taste better if you give it a lot of what it would eat in the wild.
I've got all my salt for this and am already simmering some rage in annoyance at the implication that I'm incompetent at cooking or anything else that's a basic life skill within the domestic sphere.
What might some of you guys be cooking tonight?
This isnt even an actual thing.

Nobody in Burgerland can cook, they exist on fast food and packet meals.
Silly thread.
SEXIST
Why do you drink alcohol?

How hard is it to open your own restaurant?
>>8237628
>>8237628
Somewhere in the area of 60-90% of all new restaurants fail
It takes a lot
But, there's millions of stories of passionate know-nothings pulling it off
You just gotta have good location, good food, and the willpower to work 7 days a week for a good chunk of years
>>8237628
It's pretty hard. I've seen things that are pretty hard and this was one of them.
Ask a subway employee anything.
you ever just hang out in the walk-in freezer? my parents owned a few Subways when i was a kid, and my brother and i would do that all the time.
>>8237764
What was it like in high school? Did you ever get picked on?
This isn't the coolest thing since sliced bread, but it's close.
Weird food innovations.

The egg thing is pretty cool though
Your go to pizza topping combination? For me it is pineapple and green olive, mmmmmm sweet and salty
I'm in the rustbelt, so ramch has been a pretty popular condiment for a while. So chicken and bacon, detroit style. Maybe vinegary hot sauce as well
>>8245121
quattro formaggio is probably my favorite. that and margharitas.
>>8245177
>quattro formaggio
This guy gets it.
Although it depends on which cheeses. If at one of them isn't Gorgonzola it's shit. I've also seen it done with one cheese per. quarter of the pizza, which misses the fucking point and deserves to pissed on, right there on the table. Just stand there, unzip, and let go. Then flip off the person who made it.
What will we eat in future? From tubes. Lab produced burgers. Veggies, because all animals died due to intolerance of antibiotics ?
>>8242102
I can see lab grown meat becoming desired, but you just know that the meat industry will lobby legislation against it.
Especially Tyson, the chicken company. Apparently they're some of the worst cunts ever.
I think lab-grown meat is absolutely the future. I love eating meat and have no moral qualms against it, but our current model of factory farming is just not sustainable long-term. As long as lab meat has the same taste and texture as normal meat, I'll be happy to eat it.
If black bean imitation burger patties become cheap, I'll buy them in a second.
They honestly taste better than hamburger patties, but the fucking kikes charge so much.
A good deal of vegan/vegetarian food is actually reasonably edible, but the fucking kikes try to strangle them for every penny. Sad.
Post your favorite vegan meals here.

That looks really good.
what candy are you going to be giving out to the chill'uns this year?
Carob bars
Probably the scariest day of the year for a robot.
I'm going to put mini snickers in a bucket out front and go hide in my back room with the lights off.

Patti doesn't look spooked.
Alright /ck/, if I want to make the tastiest, creamy macaroni and cheese; how should I go about it?
make a proper roux and use proper cheese in a proper ration at the proper heat.
>>8243010
Don't listen to this posh british faggot, just add a spoonful of sour cream to it
>>8242997
my easy way
- 16oz 3 cheddar blend shredded
- tall skinny carton of half and half
- butter
- 16oz medium shell pasta
- salt
- pepper
- kielbasa
cook the shells till al dente. in a glass baking dish, start layering. thin layer of shells, salt and pepper, sparsely sprinkle tiny cubes of butter, layer of cheese. push some slices of kielbasa vertically into the pasta. repeat. shells. salt. pepper. butter. cheese. kielbasa. repeat. shells. salt. pepper. butter. cheese. kielbasa. when you're out of layering materials, take the half and half and pour it in until it's level with the top of the layers. Bake covered for 30minutes at 400, then remove the cover and finish baking for 15 minutes to get some top crust going
Post foods you miss

How ironic. Eh, they should just bring back Bites as a whole.
>>8242909
I will never stop wanting these again.
/ck/ is a generally quiet board and despite being anonymous (mostly) it easy to spot individual posters from their memes and the way they articulate themselves.
Which poster do you love and which do you hate? Lets see if our intuition is right.
>pic related: I love that racist South African dude.
That crazy Smirnoff guy in the al/ck/ threads is fascinating to watch at work
Worst:
1. Underage kids that try to force new "memes"
2. Meta threads. Including sticky whining
>Best
no homo pony guy. I love that he exists on a diet of junk and just shrugs off the abuse

Japanese Food Pics; waste of bandwidth and a weeb.
About to have my first In n Out
>inb4 its overhyped
Any recommendations on what to try first?
What is your standard order?
double double feels like the best meat/cheese to everything else ratio for me
i like whole grilled onion slices, usually get 2 per burger
the rest of the toppings are up to what you like on burgers
extra toasted buns is pretty nice
i eat my fries pretty slow so i dont get anything on them lest the melted cheese coagulates or other stuff gets them too soggy
I get a double double with cheese lettuce hamboigah sauce and grilled onions, animal fries on the side
and ask for extra hamburger sauce in the little packets. Even if you dont use it you still can keep them in the fridge. I always feel like they dont put enough on the fries
