How much coffee would you say this would make? I usually use this much for 4 cups. It's roughly 1/4th of a cup before grinding.
How are you brewing it?
For French press, I use ca 20-25 grams for 3 (small) cups.
For moka I don't know the weight. But I think it's more than what you have there, again for 3 (small) cups.
I like my coffee robust though.
1 cup
I use a bit more than one tablespoon per 2.5 fl oz for crappy coffee (i.e., anything from Costco, including Starbucks dark roast).
Good bean$ maybe like ~17g per coffee mug.
>visiting the UK (I'm from France)
>my friends want to take me out for dinner at Nando's
>agree to it cause memes, muh cheeky Nandos
>we sit down
>waiter tells us it's Cheese Day
>I freak the fuck out and ask my friends why they didn't tell me it's Cheese Day
>they tell me to calm down
>I yell "FUCK OFF" and storm out of the restaurant
>pick up some KFC and eat it on the way home
Was I in the wrong here? My friends still don't understand just what the problem was, they act like I'm the unreasonable one.

Should have listened to an audiobook in your car like a normie.
Again, happens a lot to you, right?

We know you you crave attention, but just copy pasta, you can do better.
whats the best barb sauce?
it comes in a glass bottle with a white label and I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. it was pretty thin and tangy
almost all of them are too sweet. I'm also assuming you mean bbq sauce you can buy at a store and not homemade. because the best ones are obviously ones you make yourself, but there are good ones that aren't 90% corn syrup
>>8270553
>ywn go back in time and prevent the popularization of corn syrup
Not a weapon of mass destruction. Only a device for making sausages.
>>8270520
I've got a sausage of mass destruction for you buddy
>>8270520
are you actually making anything? or was this another pointless shitpost in a sea of shitposts?

Making anything? Drunk much?
It is a picture of olden tymes. How they made food.
Go to bed son, you're becoming a bore.
Winter is coming. Im a rather conservative cook.
I wanna break free, I wanna be wild, be free.
Ahem... just wanna make some food with crafty beer. Ideas?

Go to 'potlé and get a 'rrito bowl.
Take it home and eat it with your craft beer.
Whats the best way to prepare Alfredo sauce?
If not the best how do you prefer to do it?
>>8270469
Just buy a jar and spoon it out onto your noodles.
I gave up trying to find a brand I liked, so I just make a quick,poor-man's Bechamel sauce and add cheese and butter to it.
Make your own if you don't like any brands.
I never cook anything, unless you count putting pre-made lasagna into the oven. I feel like I should change this, but maybe it's okay?
>>8270423
If you're happy and/or healthy, there is no reason to change.
I think it's fine, if you're okay with it. A lot of people enjoy cooking, but there's nothing wrong with skipping it if it never interested you.
I'm a support worker. I work with adults with often severe learning disabilities........I teach them all to cook rudimentary meals from scratch.
If you can't cook you're beyond retarded.

My deviled egg recipe :
Do the thing with the eggs.
Mash the cooked yolks and add:
Mayo
Yellow mustard
Tiny bit of dill pickle juice
Tiny bit of hot sauce
Chipotle steak rub or Old Bay
Salt
Pepper
Blend together and add back into egg whites. Sprinkle smoked paprika on top.
Adjust quantities as needed for flavor, trust me on the pickle juice, it's key.
What is there to comment on?
Isn't that the exact same recipe used for generations and found on a thousand websites?
Nothing novel here, so you like pickle brine, sounds okay.
>>8270524
I don't use pickle juice, or hot sauce, or steak rub,
I add a bit of sweet pickle relish, and top with paprika.
Mojito popsicle? Really, thats a thing?
Posting shitty threads on 4chan? Really, that's a thing?

Being an arrogant fool is never new on 4chan. Being helpfull, joyfull, not condescending that would really be a thing.

Here's a tip: stop being a homo lol
I might invented something new here. Eggs, bit of cream, parmesan, garlic powder, left over spaghetti, slices of tomatos, top'd with some grated cheese.
Fried in bacon fat.
Gotta win the Nobelprice in cuizine.

Hey /ck/ i'm looking for a pickle recipe but not just any pickle recipe. My great grandmother used to make pickles with just salt, now I never had them but my grandfather and his brothers used to eat them all the time and loved them. Nobody ever wrote down the recipe and all I know is she used about a gallon and a half or 2 gallon container for like a dozen pickles then threw in "a handfull" of salt and put a cheesecloth over the top and waited 2 or 3 weeks then scooped all the salt off the top and thats all I know, I don't know if she waited longer or what, I also dont really know anything about making pickles in general. I'd like to be able to make them for grandfather and his brothers again because they always talk about them
As in just salt water? Put them in a jar of brine and spicy peppers senpai, tastes great.
>>8270188
Yeah just salt water. Spicy peppers sounds really good I might make them for myself, but the method im looking for was just salt water.
>>8270196
just google salt pickle recipes, there's tons of results to choose from, but the basic salt pickle is just half vinegar, half saltwater, add whatever you're pickling and then heat to seal the mason jars
I have too much ground pork and want to make a soup
Help me out here
Also, soup thread. Whats your favorite soup?
>>8270002
potato
>>8270002
might make a nice addition to clam chowder, brown pork then saute holy trinity in pork fat then go from there
The only good use Ive found for ground pork is to make meatballs.
You'll need some beef to cut it with, but you can make a fuckton of meatballs and freeze what you dont use. Thats what I did when ground pork was 99 cents a pound, and the frozen meatballs are godly with a real quick pasta.
