How do I get into wines? I keep buying "cheap" wines (shit cheaper than 20 bucks) and they all taste horrible.
So far I've mainly tried Casillero del Diablo, and it just tastes dull and salty.
Are there some good "cheap" brands? I've heard Barefoot is good. I'm looking for something somewhat sweet, but not mostly sweet.
Right now I'm drinking a Merlot (Casillero del Diablo) and it tastes bad.

You can get a decent wine at a 20 price point. Try whites and roses too. A chilled rose on a summer day is my ish. And by whites I don't just mean chardonnay it's pretty meme tier. A dry riesling, pinot grigio or a Portuguese vinho verde are all excellent and very accessable.

i fucking hate eating in the morning
but if i don't, i get dizzy and can't get anything done
ussually i'll dip belvita bars into my coffee and eat them
but that's only 200 calories and i'm hungry within 2 hours
sometimes i eat freezer waffles cooked in the toaster
but those aren't great either
i have no energy to stand at the fucking stove after waking up
what the fuck can i do for breakfast?
once in awhile i'll make overnight oats with almond milk and ovaltine, that shit's good but it gets repetitive fast

Alright, so I have about 30lbs of persimmons I harvested from my tree this season and am at a loss on what to do with them.
I usually just make cookies, but some other ideas would be really appreciated.

My friend always wants to take me to these really trendy, hip, cool restaurants that have 4+ ratings on Yelp. But they are so trendy, hip, and cool that you often have to wait an hour outside in a long line to be served, and then you have to share a table with 10 other strangers because everyone wants to eat this special trendy hip cool food.
