Yeah! Only pussies need carbs!
How do I get into wines? I keep buying "cheap" wines (shit cheaper than 20 bucks) and they all taste horrible.
So far I've mainly tried Casillero del Diablo, and it just tastes dull and salty.
Are there some good "cheap" brands? I've heard Barefoot is good. I'm looking for something somewhat sweet, but not mostly sweet.
Right now I'm drinking a Merlot (Casillero del Diablo) and it tastes bad.
>>8288831
You can get a decent wine at a 20 price point. Try whites and roses too. A chilled rose on a summer day is my ish. And by whites I don't just mean chardonnay it's pretty meme tier. A dry riesling, pinot grigio or a Portuguese vinho verde are all excellent and very accessable.
>>8288831
Red chilean wine is too strong in the flavor, and like any alcohol brebage, you need to get used to the flavor first try some rose wine or a light flavor white wine.
>>8288831
Barefoot is for college girls. And is overly sweet.

It's one thing to be a farmer or a rancher, but would the individual consumer get a return on buying/caring for a single dairy cow?

I'd get the satisfaction of just taking care of it

I'm trying to limit my caffeine intake but I really like the taste of coffee and the morning ritual of preparation
Are there any similarly strong/bitter tasting beverages that I might use as a substitute?

but that's only 200 calories and i'm hungry within 2 hours
sometimes i eat freezer waffles cooked in the toaster
but those aren't great either
i have no energy to stand at the fucking stove after waking up
what the fuck can i do for breakfast?
once in awhile i'll make overnight oats with almond milk and ovaltine, that shit's good but it gets repetitive fast
Order pizzas and keep them in the fridge specifically for breakfast. Everyone knows cold leftover pizza is the best instant breakfast

Alright, so I have about 30lbs of persimmons I harvested from my tree this season and am at a loss on what to do with them.
I usually just make cookies, but some other ideas would be really appreciated.
Also, if anyone has any helpful tips on removing the flesh from the peel other then a spoon and cramped hands, that would be amazing.
you know those peeler things, that you use to peel apples, that's what I use. I eat them like sliced apples. They're delicious, I can eat a pound a day myself
Do you live alone? You could share them with your family or girlfriend ...
i eat the skin
Get yourself some mason jars and make some preserves or slice them and dry them for snacks on the go.
Budget thread.
Post fucking delicious food that can be prepared on a shoestring budget.

My friend always wants to take me to these really trendy, hip, cool restaurants that have 4+ ratings on Yelp. But they are so trendy, hip, and cool that you often have to wait an hour outside in a long line to be served, and then you have to share a table with 10 other strangers because everyone wants to eat this special trendy hip cool food.
Are these restaurants actually worth it, food-wise? Or is this a normie trying to be my friend and making an excuse to talk to me for an hour?
stop hanging out with hipsters

Do you like exploring new foods/ dining experiences? Then yes. If not, no.
>>8286400
I just want to know if deconstructed sandwiches and fried fish with waffles and nutella pie and rolled ice cream and other meme foods, are worth waiting 3 hours in line for
How do those hipster places compare to a normal sandwich shop, a normal breakfast shop, a normal bakery, or a normal ice cream parlor
I could eat it every den. With pasta and potatoes, rice and buckwheat. It's a king of food!

Still like goulash, OP?
Be honest, anon. The day you figure out how to cook for yourself or own your own stove is the day your general health decreased.

It probably got better
You know, there are parents who put cocacola in babybottles, right?
>>8286029
Not really, I hit my worst points when I am too busy or on vacation, and am cooking less.
>>8286029
I feel like it would be the opposite, like, someone would be more prone to eating garbage food because they don't know any better, but when you know how to cook you can make quality meals.
making guido sheperd pie.
