Why do people pretend to like things such as black coffee?
Why do people pretend to find things like KFC disgusting?
Why do people spend their time trolling a cooking board?
Why do people waste our time with shit threads?
I know you guys look down on chain pizza, but if you had to pick, what's the best pizza you can get from a chain?
Also post pizzas.

Jets.

Pizza Hut has been the most consistent for me these days... Dominos hand-tossed has been a huge cluster, sometimes missing like 30-40% of the cheese coverage. I've actually had to call and complain, which I don't normally do.
Dominos doesn't seem to fuck up the Brooklyn Style as much as they do the other, though, so it can be pretty good.
Papa John's has fallen off a cliff.
My parents will only eat chain pizza, so when we get together, I end up eating that with them.
>>9347876
Jet's BBQ pizza is pretty good but the closest one is out of delivery radius :(
>>9347882
Yeah, I like to get Dominos for brooklyn style as well, pizza hut does a better job with the hand tossed and they have better coupons. I want to eat non chain pizza more but my city has basically zero local places that are good and not super pricy.
Ingredients: Ground turkey, tomato, leek, red onion, purple garlic, mushroom, serrano chilies, red quinoa, coffee, dark chocolate, tomato paste, lime juice, balsamic vinegar, franks red, clove honey, beef stock
Seasoning: Paprika, cumin, chili powder, cayenne, chipotle powder, mustard powder, freshly ground black pepper, salt, cinnamon
Pretty complex flavor. No one bite is the same.

Sounds interesting. Would eat.
>>9347785
coffee and chocolate? i dont know. this reminds me of putting barbecue sauce on a traditional club sandwich. off key
>>9347798
You'd be surprised at how much depth it adds to the overall flavor. Definitely try it before you knock it.

We can all agree with this ranking when it comes to these three bars, right?
>>9347665
Only fat people eat candy
Reverse it and you have my ranking
>>9347665
From the thumbnail I thought this was a descending list but luckily it's not. Yes snickers is the best. As far as everyday candy bar at the gas station it is high and above better than anything else.
>order delivery for 10 bucks
>they charge 2 dollars delivery costs
Is it still alright to tip?
Yes, the driver only gets a small portion of the delivery charge.
I always tip at least $5 for delivery.
If it's a chain pizza place then yes.
The delivery fee is just a way for the company to suck out extra money. None of it goes to the driver.
If it's UberEats or some local place then don't bother tipping.
>place order to local pizza place
>tell them to tell the driver i'll give him an extra 20 bucks if he gets me a 40 on his way over
>he does

Give me a good reason NOT to be vegan that doesn't involve "Vegans are faggots and not eating animal products is unmanly" or "Meat/cheese tastes too good to give up" as an answer.
It's inconvenient? That's the main reason for me.

No. Eat what you like, anon.
I suppose the only real way to tackle this argument is that vegans have to eat carefully to get all their nutrients and unless you love peanut butter or beans, you might have trouble getting all your protein.
In my fridge lies a single chicken breast. It needs to go. Tell me your favourite chicken breast dish, so that I may cook it.
Bonus points if the ingredients aren't out of the way.

Where does your comfort zone end?
Mine? About 50'000
>>9345636
>comfort
... well... it's not really comfortable, but I'll pop back a banana/wax pepper without much fuss.
I make a ghost-pepper/habanero paste that's gotta be somewhere in the 400-600K range. I always test it with a teaspoonful to see if the flavour is worth the pain, and it always is, but god damn.
I ate a raw Moruga once. Pretty sure I went into shock. It was awful, and then behind the sweat and tears was this growing numbness.
>>9345636
At habenaro , so about 150k I guess.
But I haven't tried much between that and Jamaican
Its depends on the day but usually go between phases of Tabasco only to full bore tapatio habanero xxx hot. I can tolerate those well, beyond that I'm not too happy.
is """""mercury poisoning""""" a meme?
i have been eating at least 12 cans of tuna per week, and i eat salmon and swordfish regularly. been doing this for like a month and a half now and i have experienced zero negative side effects. it is the light tuna if that makes a difference, but still, i was always told to eat fish sparingly for risk of mercury poisoning and that the maximum should have been 4 cans per week. i tripled that and eat other seafood on top of that and no symptoms after a month and a half. surely something would have showed up by now?
before you ask why i eat so much canned tuna its because it is absurdly cheap where i live. a club pack (12 cans) costs me $5 and that is a week's worth of lunches for me
Rip OP
where the fuck can I get tuna that cheap
Yeah it's a meme by monsanto and the vegan lobby.
Asbestos is also great for digestion
>Ambient hamburgers.
The pizza is regressive.
>Exponential hotdogs.
>analogue lasagna
How many times do you wash your rice before setting it on the cooker? I make sure the water is clear every time.
Pic related is the water after one rinse.
>>9339877
I run it under running water for a few minutes until the water is at least 90% clear.
>>9339877
After 5
I'm chinese and I wash rice 3 times.
Who cares how murky it is?
For me, it's yuengling

If you are ever desperate for food but completely broke, use GrubHub + paypal
kinda related not exactly a food hack but more of a water hack:
open a can of cold seltzer and leave it sitting on your desk for approximately 1 day, after 1 day you will then have a can of regular room temperature water to drink from inside the can (even though the can will still say seltzer on it, it won't really be)

How long does it take iron deficiency / anemia to set in after you stop eating meat
This is a stupid question with too many factors to give anywhere near an accurate answer. I will just go with the easy rout and say never because instead of eating meat they ate lots of spinach.
>>9352005
You're pretty defensive.
I bet you're a vegan/vegetarian.
