How do you eat your ramen?
Pic is my first attempt at ramen: steak, shiitake, spring onion and spinach
You're supposed to use thin slices of pork belly.
Looks pretty decent. The mushrooms and spinach especially look good. I have a hard time eating my steak well, but its hard to put it in a steaming bowl of broth and not have it come out well, so whatever.
That looks delicious. I use udon noodles most of the time, but I like adding a serrano pepper, mushrooms, shredded carrots, and a sliced hardboiled egg.
What are some dishes you think every person should know how to make?
toast
A glass of water, with or without ice.

I think most everyone should know how to cook a steak and potato meal.
stainless steel>copper>aluminum>cast iron
Stainless Steel is better than Cast Iron in every possible way.
>doesn't rust
>doesn't weigh 200lbs
>doesn't require chainmail and salt to clean like some fucking medevil pan cleaner
>doesn't throw an autistic fit if you cook acidic foods
>doesn't take 10 minutes to heat up
>doesn't require seasoning
>doesn't require greasing it up after every 30 minute cleaning session
>doesn't die if you put it in a dishwasher
/ck/ lied to you, cast iron pans are shit.

basically the same people that say shit like "oh just study and you'll be good at math" but we know that shit's not true
some people just can't do somethings
I don't think I can do much either
sometimes I'll think maybe it was because I was too young or inexperienced when I made by first attempt, but then I'll try again and see just how pathetic my lack of aptitude for certain things really is
you can only try so many times before you lose hope and give up completely
it's not an easy thing to do, especially if you don't have a proper support system or people to lean on when you're down
you just have to suck it up and find alternatives
>>8331727
Yeah but the thing is that I am willing to change not just hope for better the next time. I want to learn how to cook better.
Maybe you're just thinking in the wrong terms? Pancakes are almost perfect for someone who wants to learn about food. You can do anything with pancakes and it's easy to start over. Keep trying. Don't be like >>8331727 . He lost his way.

Why is a tire manufacturer the authority on restaurant reviews?
>>8330970
Its had to do way back in 1908 when michilen realesed there first guide in france in an attempt to grow the popularity for motor tourism, as there were only about 3000 cars in france at the time. They wanted more people to buy cars so they could sell more tires. The guide included all sorts of things other than just food including detailed maps of whever the countrys guide was. But as time went on the dining establishment and food review portion of the guide grew in popularity, when the guide was first realsed there was no michilien "stars", but in 1950 the guide set a scrict set of guidelines describing what a restraunt requires to recive a star. Thus starting what we have now

What's your point? Not one of those facts, in and of itself, suggests that the dish is "unhealthy".
