Do you ever narrate while cooking? I usually comment on it Ramsay-style and give little tips to the imaginary audience. Is it weird?
>pan on, olive oil in
>just when it starts smoking drop in the meat
>garlic, lightly crush it, in
etc
>>8334565
I just swear a lot.
nah, but thats because ive always got music cranked up loud whenever i cook
>>8334565
Why pretend? Just get a cheap camera and youtube it like every other celebrity wannabee. Who knows, your banter and techniques just might be stupid enough to catch on.
What does /ck/ think of this?
>>8334543
> 100%Natural
Someone said it in original thread but
>Alc. 2.2% vol
lol some fuckin asshole put a tea bag in a bell pepper
>You will never eat fire-roasted dodo bird with your fellow sailors on a warm Mauritius night.
>>8334447
Good, because reportedly it tasted awful.
>>8334473
That is a myth.
>>8334478
The fact it tasted good is also a myth. There's no confirmation on how it tasted.
Hence, reportedly.
Saw this on the employee board at my local coffee shop.
Wew lad.
>putting /d/ on this
This is either a joke or this guy has balls fit only for /d/. Jesus Christ.
What is an employee board?
Oh.
What happened to him and Patti?
Was he arrested for smoking the Devil's lettuce or evicted for having so many cats?
I'm worried
Anyhow, I'll be shit posting in his place today.
>lunch
Maura and my dinner because I'm tired and don't want to cook. I want to shower and get drunk
I will be cooking sone gud steaks tomorrow afternoon
I'll post the how to of my steak secrets
>>8334520
Is your secret the reverse sear? That's mine.
>>8334570
No. But what's the reverse sear? I'm intrigued
How do YOU marinate your meat /ck/?
>>8334065
I've been using a Thai style marinade lately that's great with pork or chicken. Basically soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, lime juice, garlic, galangal, lemon grass, thai peppers slit open, green onion and cilantro. For pork chops or steaks I'll grill direct. For larger cuts I smoke it.
What's in your marinade in the pic?
>>8334065
Seconding this question. I have a kitchen stocked with asian stuff and I'm tired of soy sauce and sugar marinades. I have a bunch of chipotle marinade frozen for whenever I feel like chipotle chicken, but that's rare. Ideas please.
>>8334135
Some soy sauce, lemon, garlic, onions and mushrooms.
I made some Shashlik the other week but I felt the meat tasted kinda bland, might have been the pork though...
Hey /ck/, yesterday I had Tbit rice. This is essentially a pot of rice being slowly oven cooked for several hours with whole chicken in it, so that the entire juiciness and fat of the chicken spreads to the rice as well. This is a really nice dish, you should try it.
>>8333951
Nice blog
I'd like to subscribe so I can know more about what's going on in your worthless life
>>8333951
Where'd you get the chicken? Any seasonings/spices to throw in? About how many servings you think this made? Oven temp?
>>8333951
Looks festive for a group dinner. I saw where it was an Iraqi dish. Does everyone just eat out of the same bowl with their hands?
I guess I'll keep it in mind for the next time I have an Iraqi themed dinner party or something.
I want to be a luxury food and meals connoisseur but don't want to learn how to cook. Basically just knowing how to distinguish a poor meal from a really great one even if both look/sound/taste great.
Yes it sounds shallow but I truly don't care. How do I start?
Learning how to cook
>>8333829
Predictable answer. I mostly just want to pretend. What are essential luxury restaurants to know about?
>>8333826
what do you know so far?
how advanced is your palate?
in order to truly appreciate a trade or art, one must learn it, so one can understand the skill involved, the creativity that has been put into a dish. and the difficulty of the various processes
you should learn to cook
/ck/, I think there's something wrong with me. I'm never hungry in the mornings or early afternoon, and this has been going on for years now, but it hasn't annoyed me until now. I usually just end up having one big meal for dinner making up for the lost meals I had earlier on in the day. Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I see a doctor? I'm currently a good height and weight; I'm 6'1", and 190 lbs.
Why does it "annoy" you?
Anyway, skipping breakfast is good for you. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intermittent_fasting
>>8333780
I'm the same.
I don't feel hungry until atleast 9pm and have a large meal to compensate.
>>8333780
I've done the same thing intentionally for years, it's called intermittent fasting, and there's a fair amount of scientific research showing that it has health benefits similar to caloric restriction.
>gorge myself on some Lindt chocolate
>get a bit horny and develop a semi-boner
someone explain what's happening to me
>>8333732
>eating anything that's the same skin colour as niggers
Friend of mine gets horny when eating chocolate. I always assumed he was a freak of nature. Guess you are too.
>>8333732
There are chemicals in chocolate that are aphrodesiacal or whatever.
Best cereal there is. End of discussion. Get over it, faggots.
Nope. This, or Life.
Raisin Bran and a few cups of coffee in the morning daily. Your bowels will never be cleaner.
>>8333771
>18g of sugar per serving
>not eating a sweet cereal instead
thanks gramps, but if I want to shit I'll eat oatmeal
What foods do you usually eat when you're drunk/stoned?
>>8333672
DUDE POT LMAO!
fuckoff.
>>8333728
Just answer the question, and stop acting like a faggot already.
Is this a legit salt alternative
>>8333572
That's not a salt alternative, it just has no salt in it. But it's pretty bland, if that's the one I'm thinking of.
there is no legit salt alternative
that's like asking if there is a legit water alternative
>>8334104
>legit water alternative
I think pop (soda for you snoots) is.
What is the best readily available butter in American supermarkets and why is it pic related?
i got some of that shit and it doesn't taste much better to me than any other butter
>>8333429
OK you poopooed my choice, what's yours?
>>8333429
And its not completely about taste. The texture and melting point of it is absolutely perfect for me. Not to mention the great taste
>http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/food-wine/81807595/this-man-ate-pizza-every-day-for-222-days
This guy ate DOMINOS and PIZZAHUT garbage and survived
I'm skinny and poor, if I make healthy homemade pizza with plenty of fiber and no sodium to use as my go-to plebeian dinner, that would be even better right? I seriously need to learn to eat more and pizza is cheaper than steaks
Where does he give details of his cycle?
>>8333392
You can eat pizza and keep your caloric intake below maintenance, bro. He'd also have to be a retard to not get bigger than that on juice, he's natty.
>>8333388
Calories in calories out
