Anyone make their own Miso?
I just started the first step by making the rice koji kin that's required for it. Sprinkled some koji spores oversweet rice and have it incubating at 86F.

Seems like a waste of time I would imagine. I am definitely interested to see how yours turns out though. I've been using Koji and soy sauce as a marinade recently. Tastes amazing on portobellos.

Maybe guacamole is not commonly eaten where you live so it seems like a weird novelty but it's just a very simple type of dip/sauce/salad that you can add more stuff to depending on your taste and goes well with alot of things

Pastas are really easy to make. Hamburgers can also be fun to make, and baking can also be sort of cool to do.
In terms of easiness, salads are so easy even your lazy, worthless wife can prepare one.

So I'm making fish soup, boiled the fish in milk water mixture, removed the fish, then added vegetables and shit to the milk, now boiling that away to soften the potatoes. Anyway there is a white foam forming on top of the water, what is this, and should I skim it off?
