What are some recipes that use tarragon in decent quantities.
Coulda sworn I could just use it poultry dishes, so I picked it up when I was picking up other herbs, but nothing I've found uses a decent amount of it
The French like to pair it with bunny rabbits.
I never have leftover tarragon as it goes well with everything. I usually put it in my scrambled eggs every morning (fines herbes). You could also freeze it in ice cubes to maintain freshness/aroma but other uses might be:
infuse vinegar/oil
make a compound butter/freeze it
bearnaise sauce is the best sauce to use on meat. (can be used from the tarragon in frozen ice cubes)
more like tard agon
What did anon have for dinner?
I had Mashed potato and buttered spaghetti with a side of french bread.

I made a hamburger on my grill and some rosemary french fries (baked). Longest part was julianing the potatoes.
19 mini pretzels and a cheese square.

Depends on if you want any flavor or not I suppose
After a party in America we take all the leftover chips from the night before, mix them, and serve it with scrambled eggs the next morning. We call this an "Honest Todd". What food traditions do you guys have in your country?
>>8406761
>in America
Please specify your state, and preferably, the region of that state.
This is not a common practice in the USA, and is likely not even a common practice across whatever flyover state you live in.
Please note that the entirety of Europe fits into the US nearly 3 times, and that Europe is made up of many counties with their own stereotypes and customs. The USA is similar, in the fact that a state in the US can be as diverse as two counties in Europe.
you fucked up migas so bad
>>8406761
>After a party in America we take all the leftover chips
this isn't an american thing
>eating ham or turkey by itself instead of using it to make something like a sandwich
Why the fuck is this normal? It tastes plain when it's by itself.
Are the yuropoors to blame for this?
>It tastes plain when it's by itself.
If you're eating shitty turkey or ham maybe
Cold ham and turkey straight out of the fridge are some of the best parts of the holidays. Sandwiches are kind of whatever - they're generally overpowered by bread/sauce/cheese/whatever.
OP is a fag.

Roasts are delicious and if you cook properly it's really flavorful as is
What are you saying OP you wouldn't slice up all of a roast ham and make a party sub for the holidays that's retarded
Hi /ck/!
So, I've been cooking with teflon (non-stick) pots and pans all my life and now I want to try stainless steel. I'm looking at a 5 piece set in amazon by Swan at what I think is a good price, but I have no idea if that's a good brand or what.
I'm not looking to get a luxury or pro set, but also I don't want some cheap piece of junk; I just want something in the middle. Can you recommend some good brands for stainless steels pans?
thx!

He had just returned from a relaxing day on the local course where he had shot par on the day, tying his old record. She hugged him hello and excitedly revealed the pregnancy to him. She also informed her husband that she had secretly been taking a conception-success-increasing prescription. As he looked through his custom set of clubs, in his hand-stitched custom bag, Henry selected the pitching wedge to strike her nearly 400 times in the stomach.

Not your personal shopping assistant. Thanks bye.
>>8406595
If you want stainless steel, I would get a set that is tri-ply. Lots of brands make tri-ply stainless cookware.
Here is a cheap set:

My mother cooked this for Christmas dinner last night. Your thoughts?
was it good?
>>8406530
What the fuck is it? Pesto on lamb?
>>8406535
Meh. Little rubbery, but the gravy helped a bit. Had some nice carrots and parsnips, as well as garlic toast and mashed potatoes.
Do you guys wash your ground beef before cooking?
I boil it to get rid of the bacteria in it before I wash it so I don't get any on my hands
>>8406506
Looks like that's enough internet for tonight, darling - time for beddybye! Make sure you say your "now I lay me down to sleep..." prayer, honeybunch.
Wut?Why?No!
Would you eat at the Bacon Barn, /ck/?

Looking to get a new non stick skillet for making scrambled eggs and whatnot.
Which is better: ceramic or teflon?
I've heard shit about teflon leeching shit into your food and little bits of the surface scraping off.
I've also heard that ceramic cookware doesn't last very long.
Which do you prefer?
carbon steel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-suTmUX4Vbk
specifically a debuyer mineral b omelette pan.
Just buy a dirt-cheap Teflon every year.
Ceramic IS nice to cook on - for four months, tops
... why not buy a cast iron, the genuine article when it comes to non stick pans. Quite literally where the idea came from....
Aside from the GOAT Mexi-melt, is there anything on the planet as divine as pic related?
Go ahead, I'll wait

For me, this is not the best option. I much prefer a pattie of chicken breast and mechanically separated rib met, breaded with just a little kick of cayenne, and then fried until golden brown.
Place that on a soft delicious bun and top with lettuce and mayo and you truly have a meal to behold.
Delicious, juicy, satisfying.
Wtf I love wine now!

What are you drinking tonight /ck/?
I'm drinking Kalnapilis Royal Select, which is a nice lager, that's not too light or too dark in taste, leaves a pleasant aftertaste. 5.6% alcohol though, so I drink this only occasionally.

imho would rather suck dog's dick

Do you live somewhere that you can get easy access to dim sum? I do not, I have to visit the next city over.
This right here is my favorite dish of all (beef in particular).
>>8405834
Hey op I live in San Francisco and there's tons of authentic delicious dim sun here
I really like cheung fun the dish u posted especially with the sweet soy based sauce they serve with it
>>8405881
Would love to visit. Is probably the best thing next to just flying back to Hong Kong (which I'd like to do but that's a little much just for food).
There are four places in walking distance that do traditional dim sum, another at the entrance of a Chinese supermarket that does a few take-out dim sum options (ones that can be eaten with hands, like steam buns and spring rolls) and about a dozen others in Chinatown, roughly three miles away.
It's everywhere here.
I like rice noodle rolls stuffed with you tiao or shrimp more than the ones with beef, but they're all good.
