Literally a bunch of unwashed apes preparing food on the floor in the dirt with dirt all over their hands. I'm no clean freak but that sir, is disgusting. Plus there's that retarded crouch that the sand apes always seem to do that makes them look like a shitting dog. Fucking evolve already, Jesus Christ.

Has anyone ever noticed that girls don't really crave protein?
Even disregarding vegetarianism, most of the girls I know IRL eat a diet that naturally prizes sugar and dairy over things like meat and seafood.
There's also a stereotype that kids really like sugar and aren't all that fond of protein, but I personally craved meat and hated sugar from the age of 4.
Muscle mass.
Men have much more muscle tissue per unit body weight than women or children.
Therefore they require more protein, the craving is just your way of getting it.
>>8490075
Well, that's just not true at all. That's a unbalanced stereotype.
I eat mostly meat, fish, and vegetables. The only carbs I eat are fruits and the occasional plate of pasta, or bread for a sandwich.
I eat steak at least once a week (because I buy whole primal cuts and have them cut to order, so I always have steak in the freezer), and that's just an example. As a matter of fact, I crave meat and fish protein more than anything else. I do try to alternate them though. Beef one night, fish the next, chicken the next, etc. And at lunch or breakfast, I always have an egg or baked tofu.
I think women who pretend to not crave protein aren't listening to their bodies and are trying to appear dainty in front of guys. It's very important for women to get enough protein, our bodies need it for all kinds of reasons. When I was first dating my husband, he loved the fact that I'd eat all kinds of foods and rip into steak or wings or a whole lobster, or a platter of bbq right along with him. It's probably one of the things that solidified our relationship, because we could go out and dine or party together the same way (except I do have to work out more than he does to keep in shape).

hey
Pizza isn't pizza without the grated cheese, crushed red pepper, dried oregano, and garlic powder.
>>8489858
Sure it is. But I still expect those things to be available at a slice joint.
Cheese goes on the pizza before the topping, oregano goes on top of the pizza before it is baked and minced garlic goes into the sauce.
The red pepper is a welcome addition.
Looks like highschool lunch pizza.
If you didn't steal that I pity you.
What are some bizarrw but actually good toppings for a hot dog?
Gotta try thid one, mac n cheese on a 'dog.

Discontinued fast food.
Were those onion flavored chicken nuggets...or literally fried hunks of onion?
I'm not sure how I feel about the latter....I mean technically fried onion is not an uncommon thing, but just hunks of them seems weird somehow...
Recent but relevant

either one would be great in my opinion.
I got guilted into helping represent the USA in a cultural festival and we are trying to think of food to serve that represents the USA that is not too difficult but can serve around 100 people.
I was thinking a hot dog bar where there are themed topping suggestions for different states (like chili cheese for ohio, some sort of avocado thing for cali, etc) since it's relatively easy prep and can feed a lot.
Do you think this is a good idea? Any suggestions yourself? (Pls not too many meme answers)

OP, get this kind of thing straight up front, or be passive aggressive.
When someone reaches for your food, you stop eating it, and give it to them. Then, you act like you are done, when they balk at that. They'll eventually stop.
Or, when you get your fries upfront, ask if they want some of them, and then portion them to their plate with your clean fork. Then, you're done sharing, and it was all very hygienic.
>grabs 8 fries
Let me predict this thread

I was looking at this festival poster when I noticed this at the top

Well /ck/, can anybody tell me what the heck that implies? What is "gourmet man food"?

Who here eats garlic raw?
or onions, or anything that normally goes as a complement to other foods?
I eat plain garlic everytime I start chopping them, I just can't help it., about 3 of the 5 cloves end up on the stove

I love raw onions in a tomato salad with olive oil and salt.
How can people just not cook, like at all?
All you have to do is get meat, season it a little, and put it on a hot stove until it browns nicely. Take meat out, turn the heat down a little add some butter and then whatever salt n peppered veggie you might want.
You can do this with pretty much any cut of meat and any fucking vegetable.
If you get "good", you can do things like not crowding your pan by putting a little less stuff in it at once so your shit gets crispier.
I really don't understand how some people can't do basic shit like this.
>>8494131
I can't cook at all. Grew up with little to no exposure to cooking. I'm gonna go through those steps from my perspective
>get meat
This is actually pretty okay, assuming it doesn't involve cutting, and preferably no bones either
>season it a little
With what? I mean, I know salt goes on damn near everything. There's a ton of (incidentally very pricy) spice bottles at most grocery stores, and I haven't the foggiest what's worth using. Also not sure what 'a little' would be. I can guess at the quantity without anything too awful happening I guess
>put it on a hot stove
In what sort of container? I also have a fear of anything I could burn myself on, but I've been working on that and with oven mitts I should be okay
>until it browns nicely
I can't do more than assume that all browns are equally nice, and take it out when it's some kind of brown
>Take meat out
Okay I've got this one at least
>Turn the heat down a little
Oh fuck I forgot temperature was a factor. How hot was I supposed to be cooking the meat? And how much is a little?
>Add butter and whatever salt n peppered veggie you want
I can do this. Not sure when it'll be good to take out though. Also a little unsure as to how to get the salt and pepper to stay on the veggies instead of falling off
Granted some of these problems can be solved with a more specific recipe, but I'm sure it's not hard to imagine someone like me fucking some part of it up
>>8494179

How can I cook a nice ribeye steak indoors without too much smoke?
Last time I cooked it on the stove in a cast iron pan and while the steak was delicious, my apartment was filled with a massive amount of smoke.
Use your extractor fan.

A few hours ago I went to the local Mickey Dee's.
My friend let me tell you, the moist hot spicy chicken, soft warm bun and creamy mayo were divine. The lettuce was garden fresh!
And let's not forget the hot and crunch fries and ice cold Coca Cola!

I went to benihanas and ordered wine with my steak, and a soda on the side.
Fucking chef forgot my order at first, so I had to wait patiently while he did his whole act again with only my food, while everyone else ate and gave me pity-eyes.

ramen expires?

Yeah, packaged food usually lasts for a long time even after the best buy date. It's not like there's really anything in there that can go bad.
I've accidentally eaten expired Graham crackers and a package of exoeired packaged donuts. Both of them has the same horrific chemical taste and smell that didn't come out of my mouth for a very long time. After the first bite you immediately realize something is very wrong.
