Because it's convenient, cheap sustenance that doesn't require any actual cooking skills. And while it is actually pretty tasty it's the kind of depressing meal a uni student or lonely bachelor would whip up. There's a grimness to it that people frequently associate with British cuisine.

American sugar baked beans barely resemble heinz tomato baked beans, so there is a misconception about how this meal tastes.

It's also pretty drab and one dimensional without lots of doctoring.

that pizza didn't seem that bad. iirc he mainly complained about the grease... with the sausage and the american style of putting cheese on the entire pizza (sans crust), some grease is unavoidable. then he claimed the crust was raw, but I don't think it actually was. I remember the server was a qt too.

Knowledge ruins everything

After toasting, I break off all four edges where the filling stops and eat those first. Now the edges of the filled pocket are exposed and the unfrosted backing can be separated from the frosted side. I eat the unfrosted back once it's separated. Finally, I am left with the frosted side which I fold into itself so that it is a bit like a smaller, ragged pop tart with frosting on front and back and no plain edges. I eat this last though by the time I get to this step, it's no longer as hot as I'd like. I don't go to the trouble of further reheating because if this process got anymore involved, I would have to kill myself afterward
