Just finished a pack of this stuff from the local brewery. I never liked IPAs, but my brother-in-law is a hipster beer snob so I thought I should make an effort to connect. At first it worked out pretty well because I didn't like the taste so I wouldn't have too much to drink in the evening, but somehow I developed a taste for this stuff and now I can down a six-pack in an evening without even thinking about it. Pretty bad for me overall but it's pretty goddamn tasty.

You'll still be able to taste the whisky that way.
If you're trying to make a drink that diluted try a big pour of mid priced bourbon with 50% vol in h2o and you'll spend way less money and get just as much enjoyment.
