Im gonna mix these 2 packets.
Moms gonna be pissed
>>8562822
are you a negro?
Please, anon. Think of your dear mother.
>>8562827
Look mom...im wasting your sugar. 2 full cups
I require assistance. I'm a fairly decent home cook, but I'm dating a girl who has an autoimmune disease and cannot eat the following things
>gluten
>dairy
>egg whites
>nightshades
>citrus
>chilis
What dishes can I make for her? Meat is fine. Egg yolks are also fine. I was considering some variation on carbonara, minus the cheese.
>>8562817
Just walk away dude. Walk away...
I'm pretty sure I could get away with asian themed dishes. They usually don't use any of those things, except maybe citrus once in a while. Not sure if she has bad reactions to yuzu.
>watch youtube video for a recipe I've never cooked before
>scroll down to comments
>hundreds of elitist italians bitching about how they're not cooking the traditional way
Are italians the most toxic chefs on earth?
>>8562775
They have a traditional way of doing things that's given them some really great food, so they hold the fuck on to it. This can make them crazy over rigid about cooking. But like the French, their food is fucking great, so you can't argue with the results. Even if that rigidity is annoying.
>>8562775
They're basically the China of the culinary world. They call themselves the Middle Kingdom as they think they're the center of everything and their advances are the most important thing in history but proceed to get thoroughly BTFO by every foreign power that ever fought them.
>>8562790
Also like China Italy has better food than everyone else around them.
whats the saddest thing you've ever tried to convince yourself was a meal, /ck/?
i'll start with a couple:
>dorito grilled cheese n chicken sandwiches
>quorn cocktail sausages, crisps, yogurt and strawberry nesquik
>cereal and crisps
>half a cheesecake, red velvet biscuits and apple juice
>crackers with butter on them and grape soda
>pringles and yogurt
>spicy cheetos dipped in biscuit spread
pic related, obviously
>>8562730
I live off instant ramen and tomato sauce sandwiches because I'm too autistic to go to the common room and cook because I'd have to see people. I pour the water from the ramen out my window.
I come here to look at nice looking food and pretend I don't hate my life
>rice with salt
>pasta with cheese and sandwich ham put in the microwave until the cheese melts
>>8562750
Dude come on now that isn't good for your body. When you eat meat you absorb the strength of the animal and it makes you stronger. Tomorrow you are going to pick up some chicken breasts, rice and curry sauce. You can't go wrong with that.
>>8562730
Half a box of wine and a COPS marathon...
Is it gross to go to Wendy's, buy a 4 for 4, then go to the Taco Bell next door & get 2 value menu tacos for one meal?
Do you guys often double dip like this?
>>8562728
No, I'm not fat. You need to lose some weight. Probably a lot of weight...
>>8562728
Only if stoned.
My buddy and I made a pizza using:
Big Mac
Chicken McNuggets (6 pieces)
Baconator
Wendy fries
A&W onion rings
cheese pizza
Crunch wrap supreme
We called it the fast food pizza
THIN VS THICCCCCC
which one is better and why /ck/ ?
thin is better because they are easier to cook and have better crust carmelization
nobody that knows how to make burgers makes them thick, a thick one is the sign of an amateur
if you want a lot of meat, make more than one thin patty and then stack them
>how do you want it cooked
the fact they are thick enough that I have an option already tells me this burger will be trash
>>8562719
Found the guy who doesn't like medium rare burgers
Multiple thin patties on one burgah
It was cut off-center.
2/10 would have eaten.
> and papa john's cheese tastes like oil anyway, I dont know why the fuck id buy their pizza for full restaurant price when it should be 5 bucks
Also fast food pizza thread.
>>8562532
In my country small papajones pizza is 30 bucks.
>>8562532
In Britain, Papa John's is stupidly expensive, and it tastes shit. An overly cheesy mess of grease.
Pizza express takeaway is great.
>>8562532
is papa johns delivering to the homeless now
What's the most unhealthy thing you like to cook?
crack
It's probably my lasagna lol
But damn it's tasty (if I do say so myself).
If i'm cooking it's usually the healthiest possible version of whatever it is. I'm not spending time on something that hurts my body.
unless it's mashed potatoes because i load that shit with butter cream cheese and salt
Did some steps ahead of time but took pics which I'll post. Brined some no solution added chicken legs for 6 hours with 2 quarts water, 1/2 cup kosher salt, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 3 cloves garlic. Then I rinsed and started what follows.
>>8562507
Addng homemade cayenne hot sauce.
uggh i hate cheap chicken so much
>>8562507
Added buttermilk and waited 2 hours.
Zucchini, tomatoes, chickpeas, onions, red bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, red chili peppers, carrots, pesto, orzo, chicken broth, oregano, salt, black pepper, parmesan cheese.
Suggestions for additions welcome.
>>8562474
looks tasty
add 1/4 a stick of butter
>>8562474
Paprika
>>8562474
Needs more meat
Any other brewfags on /ck today?
What are you working on?
Pic related is my favorite brown ale
>>8562356

Dam son is dat sum jenkem???
ITT: GOAT soft drinks
>pic related, also Reed's Ginger Beer
>>8562292
That stuff is hands down the best soda I ever had, but I can't seem to find it anywhere anymore, sadly.
Moon mist > mello yellow > dew
Pop > soda > coke
Reed's ginger beer is shite.
Even the """extra ginger""" is pathetic, barely an aftertaste of ginger.
What is a good "entry level" Thai dish to start off with?
Red curry
>>8562279
Pad thai with crawdads. Thai/Cajun fusion
Green curry.
thoughts on peoples cereal habits?
i very very rarely eat cereals for breakfast, i buy a box maybe once ever 2-3 years

People who buy sugary kiddy shit are nothing but manchildren
>>8562198

What are you having for breakfast this fine, comfy morning anon? I'm enjoying some coleslaw I've prepared last night. Probably not good for breakfast, but it's comfy either way.
Coleslaw Sounds like the most uncomfortable breakfast ever. But if u like it thats all that matters
>>8562177
I don't know why it'd be uncomfortable, but it's pretty comfy watching Hell's Kitchen and browsing /ck/ while having sweet vegetables.
>>8562176
6 eggs with chopped onion, garlic powder, and some cheap shitty pork sausage with sriracha. With some of my favorite tea, Sweet Dreams. A "Blend of chamomile and mint". This is what I drank whenever I had a sore throat when I was a kid, great stuff.
