does anyone own a soda bottle dispenser?
I want to know which one is the best. All I want is soda from a bottle that doesn't become flat over time.
buy a keg

not a bad idea, just don't know how to fill those without losing too much co2 in the process

>He drinks soda slowly enough that it eventually goes flat
I don't drink soda that often, but when I do buy a (diet) bottle, I'll slam that down with the ferocity of a meth addict breaking sobriety.
i normally cook and clean the kitchen but for the last three weeks my grandma's been sick and in the hospital and i've gotten a bit slack
my asshole passive aggressive boyfriend, instead of being helpful and kind decided to just take all the unwashed dishes out of the sink and put them on the floor
now i'm in a standoff with him where i am refusing to make any food or pick the dishes up off the floor because fuck that shit
what are some meals for one i can make that don't require any dishes except a fry pan and maybe a knife?
i've been eating quesadillas and bacon for like 5 days, i need something else
>granny goes to the hospital
>break normal routines
>act like a tremendous fragile victim
>become a damn slob
>hurrr durrrr muh boyfriend isn't waiting on me hand and foot
>he won't give me constant attention and sympathy for my fake victimhood
>now I am DEMANDING that he do the things I used to do before I became a total slob
>he won't, but he cleared the sink I let like up with dishes
>like an ASSHOLE
>I haven't discussed any of this with that ASSHOLE
>why can't that ASSHOLE read my fucking mind?????
This bitch is crazy

Just leave him. Hes an asshole.
Other then that, you can do anything with a microwave if you try hard enough.

Eggs. Cheap and simple.

Dr. Pepper.

For me, it is Dr. Pepper. It is the best carbonated soft drink.

Bonus question:
If your autism level is a function of the cost of your current coffee setup and the number of individual moving parts you have to wash after making coffee, how far down the usagi hole have you gone?

That's why instant coffee is the way to go.
It's the new reincarnated retro way to enjoy quality cup of coffee
and not to introduce massive amounts of coffee beans packaging to our landfills.

Childhood is when you idolize drumsticks. Adulthood is when you realize flats are more tender
>>8613772
Adulthood is when you realize it doesn't fucking matter because it all tastes the same.
I always cringe when I hear people order only flats or only drumsticks.
>>8613772
More meat in flats as well.
Lets just admit that both have their pros and cons and none would be complete without the other
What do you get at chipotle?
>>8612786
Directions to a better fast food chain.
Chicken burrito, brown rice with no cilantro (go get it from the back), pinto beans, salsa roja, cheese, lettuce, sour cream.
If I'm eating it there I shake some chipotle tabasco on each bite, if I'm taking it to go I get an extra cup of hot salsa.

Anyone know that video of that one Finnish guy speaking Spurdo in what looks like a grungy basement full of shelves of electronics and wires, all the while he's cooking potatoes on the nastiest looking stove and putting what looks like american cheese on top of it?
Does /ck/ have their own homemade pasta sauce recipe? Tips or tricks?
Mine's pretty standard:
Italian sausage or veal
Crushed tomatoes (canned is fine imo saves a lot of work)
Green bell pepper
Onion
Garlic
Sugar
Salt
Pepper
Fresh parsley and basil
Bay leafs
A bit of tomato paste
Italian seasoning
will post recipe if anyone is interested

I usually make the sauce first and then add meat if I feel like it, sometimes I make chicken parmigiana or other shit with the sauce
I usually put in canned or smashed up tomatoes, onions, garlic, finely diced red capsicum, salt, pepper, basil, sage and sometimes a little bit of chilli powder or fresh chopped chilli.
Then I just cook it down until it's thick enough

what are possible reasons my tomato sauce is slightly bitter?
tried with and without tomato paste
tried various canned tomatoes
tried more and less olive oil
wtf is it? I beginning to suspect its my aluminium pot, what kind of pot should i use?
Are American school kitchens really as bad as people say?
In Europe, American school food is thought of to be some of the worst quality food you can get, but I have a suspicion that it is all just hearsay
>>8609662
It depends, I attended parochial school. The food was okay. If anything if I remember correctly, the portions were too big.
Probably depends on the individual school more than anything. Have you ever had cafeteria food before? Most of them are like your typical cafeteria food.
It was pretty fucking bad back in the day, but it's getting better
http://lakesidesd.nutrislice.com/menu/lakeside-high-school/lunch/
They didn't have any of this back when I went to high school. It was basically some tasteless garbage or the pizza, which wasn't great either
Trader Joe's thread?
Have you guys ever had those peanut butter and jelly candy bars? They're the best thing in the store hands down.
I like tjoes to stock the freezer for when I'm too lazy or busy to cook actual food. Their wine and cheese, bread, and salsa is also better than the normal grocery store. For general produce and ingredients though it's not much use.
Typing this up reminded me how frusturating it is to find good bread in Atlanta. The only places that have it are Whole Foods and Trader Joes which are both too far from my house to be really convenient. I'm sure some hipster bakery makes bread somewhere but if it exists I haven't found it yet.

no good corn bread in Atlanta?
Whats the best way to cook chicken breast, /ck/?
I like them in thumb sized chunks and sauteed in butter with some rice. but i'm lazy
just rub shitloads of vegeta and grill them on a pan with some olive oil
Poach it
a) Tastes delicious and moist
b) Triggers americans

Kosher Turkey Roll with Mushroom Gravy Recipe.
Tired of chicken? Is turkey too dry for you? Or maybe meat is too high in cholesterol? Susan Portman's recipe for Kosher Turkey Roll
with Mushroom Gravy solves all these issues.
In addition, this turkey dish heats up well on the plata (hot plate), so it works well for Jewish Sabbath and holiday lunch meals.
What You'll Need
For the turkey:
2-pound/1-kilogram turkey roll
Olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 bay leaves
3 whole allspice berries
Paprika
1/4 cup ginger ale
For the gravy:
6 to 8 fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 to 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon chicken soup powder or powdered bouillon
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup dry red wine
To make the turkey:
Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Sauté garlic in olive oil.
Place turkey roll in a small Pyrex dish with a tight lid. Smear oil and sautéed garlic over turkey roll.
Add onion, celery, bay leaves, and allspice. Pour ginger ale over the turkey roll.
Why? Because ginger ale and cola are great meat tenderizers.
Cover tightly and bake for 2 to 3 hours or until turkey roll is cooked through.
Cool turkey to room temperature. Then refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Remove turkey from vegetables and drippings. Slice turkey and place in covered ovenproof serving dish.
Strain drippings of vegetables into a saucepan to make the gravy.
To make the gravy:
Heat the strained drippings in the saucepan over low heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté until tender.
Make a loose paste with a little water and flour and whisk it into the gravy.
Add soup powder, sugar (a little sugar improves the taste of any gravy), and wine. If using sweet red wine instead of dry, there is no need to add sugar.
Cook over medium heat, stirring, until sauce is thickened and flavors are combined.
Pour gravy over sliced turkey roll. Heat turkey in gravy and serve warm.
Shabbat Shalom

I'm serious it sounds really good, but not to be flippant, what's a turkey roll? Is it the breast butterflied out?
What are some popular foods you just don't get? I don't get plain tomato sauce pasta....I GET lasagna, I GET meatballs, I don't get this shit
I don't get pic related
