despite the meme, chicken tenders are actually damn good
>>8801454
Has anyone disputed that they are good?
why the fuck would breast meat ever be good
I like to dip ritz crackers in coke. I'm pretty sure this isn't that weird but just wondering, anyone else do this?
I use coke as mouthwash before going to bed. Because it's acidic it kills all the bacteria.
i've dipped steak fries in root beer before. bite the end off one to expose the soft interior and let it soak up the root beer, delicious.
plain glaze donuts in coca-cola. Shit is delicious.
How do I stop having uncooked chicken?
New to cooking and it comes out uncooked.
Should I pound it with a hammer first and then fry it?
I'll been sticking to the oven because of this.
Also this
Raw stop

buy a thermometer perhaps
fry on each side until browned as desired then toss pan in oven to finish
>only works if your pan doesn't have a rubber handle obviously
>>8801261
stick to tendies. 2 or 3 minutes in the microwave. Serve with ranch dressing.
Please make your selection, /ck/.
>>8801191
all looks like shit 2bh
>inb4 tendies
It all looks terrible.
But I guess I could try a little penne with chicken and broccoli, and a couple honey garlic wings.
Convince me this isn't true.
Italy is dirty and the people are unpleasant.
Italian food is mid-tier at best.
French baked goods blow Italy out of the water.
>>8801157
But it is, French is even a made up language.
>>8801157
Italian food isn't very good either
Calling all Tacos
Trying to convince a bong friend who's sick of his shitty job at Tescos to start up his own Taco Truck business. I think it'd be a hit, if he could only get the food right.
Unfortunately for him he only knows shitty British/maybe Portuguese food, and unfortunately for me I don't know the first thing about good Mexican food. Just the garbage imitations we get.
If any Mexicans (or any other south/central american who knows some good native food; the limeys won't know the difference) could chime in, I'd be grateful. I promise not to report any American IPs to ICE.
>>8801126
instead of going with something he doesn't know, why not get him to start a portugese food truck?
>>8801126
I heard it's very hard to find/very expensive to buy a lot of the peppers used in Mexican food in the UK. You'd need a shitload of jalapeƱos, pablanos, and chipotle peppers at least I expect.
>>8801139
Because he hates Portuguese food, despite being half-Portuguese himself.
Anything fish-related makes his sick to his stomache just to look at.
Also because his name is Pedro.

I bought one last week and I'm happy about it's practical usefulness and it's awardwinning aesthetical charm
I'd reccomend it
This is my lunch. Did I do it well?
No. No you did not.
Hearty and delicious. You done good.
Woah nelly! Heck yeah you did pal, to be completely honest with you....those are absolutely delicious, although the new Hot Pocket crust sucks, those manage to be tasty even still
Especially with some hot sauce to squirt , or maple syrup if you're a big sweetie...
First time eating Brazilian. How'd I do?
>>8800922
That looks Peruvian, not Brazilian.
Looks pretty good. How do you eat that? As is or in a tortilla or something? Any sauce on the table that goes with that?
>>8800936
Apparently that's ground yucca in the shaker. House made hot sauce.
>Second date with a girl
>First date was really promising (chemistry, similar interests, etc)
>She likes sushi
>I've never had it
Gonna take her to this place. It's a little more upscale but what does /ck/ think of the prices? What should I get as someone who's never had sushi before? Help an autist out.
That place is either Chinese or Korean owned. Bleh.....
No offense, OP, but that menu suck for sushi place. If that's where you have to go, I'd get
>Tuna Dinner (under the sushi section)
>One of the Hibachi meals
and share both between the two of you.
>>8800911
It's Japanese and one of the better rated places in my city. Not that I'd know quality.
But why's the menu suck? What's an example of a good sushi menu?
And do you mean order two entrees and share them for variety?
>>8800840
Hibaci is basically grilled meat. You'll be fine.
What is the strongest chili/pepper you've ever experienced?
Personally it was the ghost pepper. I ate a burger that was slathered with ghost pepper salsa. There was so much damn salsa it was dripping everywhere, over my hands and arms. I had to scratch my nose and I used the top of my hand and little did I know there was a little of the salsa there.
Long story short, ghost peppers up the nose hurts.
neighbor grew scotch bonnets in his apartment and gave me some. I liked the heat but I found they had a really weird taste
I just stick with fresh jalapenos these days
>>8800565
My mother grew ghost peppers in her garden one year. I got about a third of the crop. Cooking with them was a challenge because just touching them once they were cut burned my hands. I took to just throwing a whole on to simmer in a dish, then just fishing it out before serving. But even using them like that they were still hot as fuck. Good flavor though. Very similar to habanero.
>>8800577
Jalapenos are really inconsistent, I find. Maybe there is time of year they peak but I've had some that I could eat raw without breaking a sweat and others that have been just too spicy.
Do food establishments dislike you if you only ever get their food as pickup/takeout?
I'm a poor college student with a generous father who lets me use his card from time to time to get food nearby, so that I don't have to spend the little money I have on food of all things. I order food for pickup from this restaurant 5-7 minutes away by foot, and each time I go there I feel like they're unhappy to see me or give me false kindness. I see them interact with customers who are spending their time there, eating, and it seems much more upbeat than it does when I come in to get my stuff. One time one of the workers even suggested that I just call them directly, instead of ordering through the local third-party business (Grubhub, foodler, zipit, etc.) but I explained that I use it for the ease of entering card info.
I'm starting to feel like I'm not welcome there because of this. Does anybody else here have any experience with this, as a customer or a worker in food? I'm genuinely curious and don't want to further upset this establishment if what I'm picking up on is real.
Just go somewhere else, what the hell is wrong with you.
And they want you to order direct because the websites you mention take a commission.
>>8800388
Nowhere else is as close as this restaurant though, it's on the corner of my street and it's one of the best in town. I'm lucky enough for them to be close AND take online orders so that I can use a card that isn't technically mine - therefore getting the food for free. Why would I go somewhere else? I don't order food often and when I do it's usually because there's not much left from grocery shopping
What the fuck do I put this on?
Mashed potatoes. In baked beans. On meat. On vegetables. In a burger. French fries.
Cheese on toast
Toast, beans, bacon, tomatoes, and WUSTAH
Okay, /ck/...I had a bit of walking-around money and I purchased these...now what do I do?
now you make sure that next time you buy them with bones and skin
I usually eat them on toast with a slice of cheese when I've forgotten to go shopping for real food.
>>8800266
>on toast with a slice of cheese
What type of cheese is best?
