Lol no, mail won't do that by itself. Sure it will keep the actual blade from slashing your flesh, but the force of the impact will still hurt like a bitch and possibly break some bones. You need to wear thick quilted padding beneath your mail for it to be effective.

I'm moving out so I need to buy my own cookware and this stuff seems pretty popular but is it just popular because "it's what GRANPAW used" or is it popular because it has characteristics that make it better than a regular pan?
It's better at a lot things, particularly meat. Stainless steal is better at other things like sauces.

I haven't had Freschetta in a long time but Digiorno is possibly the worst of the common brands imo. It's flavorless in a general kind of way and the crust never cooks right. The spicy chicken variety is slightly less awful than the others, but still atrocious. Any true connoisseur knows that frozen 'za is a quirky industry and that as the price of the product decreases, the quality of the product inexplicably increases. Basically, in terms of flavor and overall satisfaction, it goes as follows:

2:1 Water to rice. Boil for 20 minutes. Add oil. Cover when done to let them fluff up and add peper if you want whatever.
