What the fuck do I eat instead of bread?
I'm an eyetalian american, so bread and pasta is around half of the calories I consume each day. What do I replace wheat products with besides rice so that I don't instantly drop 15 pounds in two months and become a hungry skellington.
BTW I was diagnosed from an allergy blood test, and I've had lifelong asthma and eczema which got really bad this last winter.
Any other anons have to deal with this?

>lived at least 18 years eating half their calories worth of wheat products
>was just fine
>now I have an allergy
nah cunt
Other grains like millet, corn, rice, barley, etc should suffice. You could load up on potatoes too I guess
>unable to eat bread and pasta
I would genuinely kill myself desu
You can subsist on other grains I guess but what's the point?
How long will chili last in the fridge, lads?
>>8858124
As long as the fungus doesn't turn green.
>>8858124
13 months on average. The spicier the chili the longer it lasts.

depends what meat you used but usually 3-4 day, heat it piping hot when you eat it.
For me, it is the Zinger.
The best fast food sandwich.

Would you eat meat grown in a lab?
>>8856806
That's a lamb, op.
>>8856806
Only if it tastes as good as the natural thing and for a similar price.
Why wouldn't you eat meat from a sterile lab as opposed to outside in the dirt?
>only good stuff
>no gore
>no jack, is possible
Blue flavor is best flavor. Post blue flavor stuff.
It's true. Why is blue candy almost always the best?

Did you know in some parts of Europe meat is in such short supply parents feed their kids vegetables instead of meat at meals?
ITT childish food preferences and habits
I think bell peppers are gross. I get a lot of shit for it for being a grown-ass adult and thinking that but god I can't stand them
For me it's mushrooms.
These might be the exception though.

I hate everything that comes from the sea. I wouldnt eat that shit even if they paid me
Coffee flavored ice cream > actual coffee
Discuss.
>>8862152
>coffee is to intense
>sugar and milk added to coffee is still too intense
>has to add coffee to sugar and milk and freeze it
Coffee ice cream is great, but you're a pussy.

>food becomes more delicious when you add gobs of fat and sugar

How many of you regularly consume some form of soy as part of your diet?
My wife is a vegetarian of 12 years, and while I'm not, I do eat vegetarian meals with her from time to time. I cook soy products every 5 or 6 vege-meals I cook.
> Medium-soft tofu
> Press out the water
> Bread with panko crust
> Shallow fry in cast iron
> Nomnomnom
or
> Tempeh
> Marinate in homemade teriyaki
> Saute with shiitake mushrooms
>>8861336
Never, it's awful for you. You see, in China, soy products are fermented for at least a few years in order to remove the phytoestrogens from it. In freedomland, they don't have those regulations, so in reality you're stuffing yourself with hormones.
>>8861336
Usually eat a tofu based veggie pattie at least 3 times a week
– I'm sorry anon, we're out of chipotle southwest
That's cool I'm here for the Jared special

I've been eating hamburgers every single day for almost a month now. Is this unhealthy/dangerous? I make the burgers myself.
you're going to die in less than 2 weeks. Should have stopped before it was too late

>A mix of grains, dairy, lettuce, onion, tomato, lettuce, and beef.
Definitely deadly.
Is getting the Gourmet Wusthof knife's worth it? I know there stamped and wanted to know if getting these are the best for a budget knife set verses the forged ones.
>>8860926
Not really, it's about the same quality overall.
>>8860937
Even then, some forged ones are pretty much the same price (Grand Prix II, for example) 3 of the 4 sets Wusthof offers are forged. I know the Classic ones are expensive as fuck, but Grand Prix II are about $200 for the 7-piece set, and there is one type inbetween those that I can't remember that is forged.
>>8860926
Fwiw, I purchased the wusthof IKON chef's knife after I graduated college (rather than get a full set), and I've loved it so far. It has a good weight to it, retains a blade pretty well, and is overall fun to use. You really only need 2 or 3 knives in your kitchen, so I'd rather get one nice knife that I'll use for years over a set of shitty printed knives that feel cheap in my hands
I like my bacon cooked well done. You want to fight about it?
>>8860830
Not really. I like mine floppy, but if you like yours crispy that's fine. No biggie.
>>8860830
I like mine to be nice and crispy too. If someone serves me chewy/floppy bacon I won't object - but when I was younger I choked on a piece of chewy bacon so I guess I'm a bit paranoid about it.
What's that circular thing next to the bacon?
