I accidentally just put a bunch of overnight-soaked but not cooked legumes into a slow cooker with other stuff for a soup; will my soup be fucked now from legume antinutrients being only half taken care of or is boiling them before the slow cooker a pointless step i've previously engaged in due to not knowing how to cook?

Mine:

Can of tuna (obviously. I prefer albacore in oil)
Chopped celery (amount varies by my desire at the time)
1 tbsp sweet relish
Dash of lemon juice
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

I usually have it as a sandwich (toasted wheat, if I have wheat around, but toasted white will do.). And preferably with a slice of provolone cheese and a couple strips of bacon.

For the whole of April me and housemate went veggie as a chance for culinary adventure and alternative cooking. And now as it's finally the end I'll share what I learned, and maybe anonmate will later too if the threads still alive. Also AMA.

To be honest, it sounds like you can't really cook and spent most of your time trying to find meat substitutes rather than learn how to actually make meals out of vegetables.

I made a marinara sauce this morning with fresh roma tomatoes, bay leaves, garlic, onion, basil, kalamata olives, salt and sugar. It's thick enough you could just eat it with a fork. I also julienned (with a peeler) 2x squash and 2x zucchini, tossed in salt and pepper, and cooked in oil on the side, combining with sauce when done.

I'm not a vegetarian but there are plenty of things you could make. Also, just an idea but maybe don't go to fast food burger joints and expect good veggie options?

I'm using this recipe with 1.5 cups whole wheat flour and 1.5 cups regular all purpose unbleached flour. http://www.jennycancook.com/recipes/faster-no-knead-bread/
