I accidentally just put a bunch of overnight-soaked but not cooked legumes into a slow cooker with other stuff for a soup; will my soup be fucked now from legume antinutrients being only half taken care of or is boiling them before the slow cooker a pointless step i've previously engaged in due to not knowing how to cook?
Man I fucking love slavic women
just keep cooking until the legumes are edible you nitwit

After looking the image up i think she may not be a slav and appears to be a degenerate and a massive whore as well as hairy, but yes slavianki would be suitable for blanda upp for me too
root beer is objectively the best soda. only exception is birch beer

But if your serious I remember a sponsor by some company. Sort of like Loot crate. I think it is run by a guy called Misaki or something. Or its called Japan crate. Idk
Mine:
Can of tuna (obviously. I prefer albacore in oil)
Chopped celery (amount varies by my desire at the time)
1 tbsp sweet relish
Dash of lemon juice
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
I usually have it as a sandwich (toasted wheat, if I have wheat around, but toasted white will do.). And preferably with a slice of provolone cheese and a couple strips of bacon.
Mmmm gonna make one right now!

>Can of tuna (obviously. I prefer albacore in oil)
yes, that plus sambal olek and slice green onion, on toast
>>8878769
Oops, forgot a key ingredient I remembered as I'm making it:
Mayo
tuna and mayo
sorry for being a pleb
Hey /ck/ I have pic related and pasta. What spices can I mix to emulate something akin to tuna helper
>>8878723
That's a very, VERY generic looking can of tuna.
>>8878747
Well the brand's name is literally "No Name"
>>8878723
I just eat those straight from the can like a cat
For me, it's the Chick'n Shack
Wow that's a big chicken
>>8878581
for you
Shake Shack does chicken now? That's promising. Looks like it could use some mayo just to hold things together.
Cinnamon Roll
Are you planning on eating that all by yourself fatty?
Cinnamon rolls a shit. My allegiance to the United States has been called into question for not liking these fucking things.

Not by a tiny azn girl at least. Maybe by the oil drinking Florida man in the next thread over.
I wonder how many times her asshole can expand
For the whole of April me and housemate went veggie as a chance for culinary adventure and alternative cooking. And now as it's finally the end I'll share what I learned, and maybe anonmate will later too if the threads still alive. Also AMA.
>Vegetarian sucks
>Quorn is by far the best meat substitute
>Imitation chicken pieces are by far the worst
>Your meals are likely going to consist of beans/pulses for both flavour and texture
>McDonald's Veggie Deluxe sucks ass
>Food tastes weird without Worcestershire sauce
>Culinary expectations will fail miserably
>Nothing can compare to that succulent nourishing texture of meat
>You're probably going to eat more cheese
>Fast food options are gonna suck without meat
>Vegetarian sucks
>>8878441
To be honest, it sounds like you can't really cook and spent most of your time trying to find meat substitutes rather than learn how to actually make meals out of vegetables.
I made a marinara sauce this morning with fresh roma tomatoes, bay leaves, garlic, onion, basil, kalamata olives, salt and sugar. It's thick enough you could just eat it with a fork. I also julienned (with a peeler) 2x squash and 2x zucchini, tossed in salt and pepper, and cooked in oil on the side, combining with sauce when done.
I'm not a vegetarian but there are plenty of things you could make. Also, just an idea but maybe don't go to fast food burger joints and expect good veggie options?
>>8878505
It's the lack of meat that really killed my drive for cooking. I'm a better baker anyway.
Op can't cook lmao
Just did these jalapeƱos at pic related o'clock. They're already fucking delicious.
I've been meaning to pickle some beets. Haven't done it since I was a kid. Hope I don't get sick and die.
i can like an insane person, i need to get into pickling
any good sites or blogs you can recommend to get started?
>>8878385
what's with the brown parts?
anyway, I've been experimenting off and on. You have a good recipe?
Thoughts?
You're a fucking gigantic faggot who started a thread with no input whatsoever. Go back to whatever board or shit site you came from fucktard

I get it. You're bored, depressed, probably overweight and diabetic. Put like 2 grams of effort into a thread asshole
What's up, /ck/? Here's my first ever attempt at making bread.
I'm using this recipe with 1.5 cups whole wheat flour and 1.5 cups regular all purpose unbleached flour. http://www.jennycancook.com/recipes/faster-no-knead-bread/
Here's after mixing the ingredients and letting it sit on top of the stove for about 5 hours.
No-knead is a good place to start in your breadmaking adventure. Keep at it, and you'll be nurturing your very own sourdough cultures and baking rustic boules in no time :]
>>8878345
Thanks! I'm really intimidated by it for some reason, but my results are (so far) really good. Pic related, it's after I scooped it out of the bowl, shaped it, and let it rest while I heated my oven and Dutch oven.
