Have you ever been kicked out of a con/ seen someone else kicked out of one for their cosplay? If yes what was it?
Pic unrelated

One time there was a woman at my local con in a "cosplay" that consisted of a g-string and nipple pasties. She was leaving damp patches on chairs and was asked to either leave the con or put on a bra and shorts. She did so, but whined about prudish oppression afterwards on the con's FB. Unfortunately, I can't find the posts.
>>
Closest I've ever seen someone come has been all the people that literally just dress in historically-accurate Nazi uniforms and then claim they're from Hellsing or a member of Hydra or something when con staff ask them why they think it's okay to literally just be a Nazi at an anime convention.

>She was leaving damp patches on chairs
Girl needs to calm her clam.
>>
>>9560286
She could just have a yeast infection. They're common among nasty skanks.
>>
>>9560288
Or she's an exhibitionist

I saw a girl who was wearing a booty shorts/a bikini get asked to put on pantyhose before. She cried and claimed it was fat shaming because skinnier girls in way less weren't also being told. To be fair, the rules do state that anything bikini length is fine without pantyhouse.

But i assume, looking at her later on, that people who are very, very fat are probably at a higher risk of exposure? I couldn't even tell what I was seeing when I looked at her thigh/crotch area. There were a few unidentifiable lumps and bumps.
>>
someone at our local con was kicked out for wearing a free hugs shirt
it caused a huge amount of drama because the guy was kind of an autist and other people were told it's fine as long as they don't force it on others
I think he was let back in after a while and it was a case of the volunteer security overreacting, but there was a little shitstorm about it and how he was being bullied first
>>
>>9560346
Sounds like a Yoko cosplay, so I don't think she should have been kicked out.

Sadly, I've seen this, not at a con, but at my high school. The smaller/thinner girls were allowed to wear short shorts, but the bigger girls would get in trouble and sent home to change. Regardless of how you feel, a larger person should be allowed to wear whatever they want, just like a smaller person.
>>
>>9560040
was she decent looking or a disgusting fat as fatass
>>
>>9560421
I disagree, it's disgusting
>>
>>9560421
Except skinny girls don't usually have asses dropping under the hemline?
>>
At PAX east there was a girl who was kicked out because she was dressed as Clover from VLR.
That same day I and my friend was almost kicked out because we where both dressed as Faust from Guilty Gear, and they received a complaint that there where two Klan members walking around. It's funny because my friend is black.
That was the year when they started to crack down on booth babes and overlsexual cosplays.
>>
I worked security at a medium-large con so I've seen (and assisted in) plenty of people being kicked out. Of note:

-WtNV cosplayers. One girl sets her bag down, turns away, another girl reaches in her bag to take her wallet, gets called out by someone else, tries to play it off as "Oh her bag fell over and it fell out and I was returning it." It was a messenger bag with a flap and plastic latch. Her story was bullshit, but she was crying and practically having a breakdown over how "I'm a good person why won't anyone believe me!" and then after she had her badge pulled, sent 2 friends 2 HQ to try and vouch for her.

-Guy dressed as the "Trojan man" late at night (kilt covered in wrapped condoms, Trojan helmet). He was plastered off his ass and groped a female Staffer in line. He was leaning against the wall in secuity HQ and still couldn't stay standing while a cop was in there trying to talk to him. He ended up being escorted off the premises and spending a night in jail, but the Staffer said she didn't want to press charges.

-Another drunk guy trying to "playfully" roundhouse kick outside of the first night's rave. Idk if he got kicked out or just taken back to his room. We don't pull badges unless it's a real issue, and late at night we get enough drunk people pouring down from their rooms we usually just get them off the con floor until their sober and then it's fine.

-Like 1-2 hours before the con closed for the weekend another guy who was daydrunk on a Sunday got really aggressive. One of our dumbasses was playing with his stungun all day and tried to zap the guy but ended up getting decked and sent to the ER instead. Drunk guy was permabanned from the con, as you'd expect.

-Twice we've had issues with people trying to counterfeit and resell badges.

-I've seen people kicked out of the hotel for drugs in their room.

-Several times over the years people come to us with shaky stories and 0 evidence obviously trying to get someone they don't like kicked out.
>>
>>9560040
She was probably just sweaty. Not that it's not gross but let's not pretend she was going around splooging on stuff.

>Several times over the years people come to us with shaky stories and 0 evidence obviously trying to get someone they don't like kicked out.

We just had this for the first time at my medium-ish sized con. So far our attendees have been fine over the years, but this year some stupid preteens thought a guy was trying to sell them drugs. They said they were were "contact high" from him. The dude was just autistic and awkward and the kids wasted our time trying to get someone innocent in trouble.

>Faust
>klan
My brain does not compute. It's literally a paper bag.
>>
>>9560421
You see, the thing is, when you have a hamplanet wearing a skimpy ass bikini, it's gonna be hidden under their gut, which gives a naked impression. Which is kinda gross. Also fat people sweat between their rolls a tiny bit more than someone who has 0 rolls.
About the school thingy, I half understand: In normie situations people shouldn't be shamed for dressing normal. But then again, the sweaty folds are there still and sometimes space can be tight at schools and things get smelly. There are reasons why people don't want to see fat bodies exposed.

Had a similar thing happen to a friend of mine a few years back. She's a big girl, and was doing a modified version of this Emma Frost costume, which she made more modest (the corset covered her entire stomach, and the bottoms were hipster-style so it was not very revealing at all.) So it was just legs and cleavage, and she was wearing the cape, so it wasn't like you could see her butt hanging out or anything. Staff approached her about it violating dress code, but when they saw she had pantyhose on under, they said it was okay. There were WAY more scantily clad girls around who weren't getting the same treatment. It was really ridiculous.
>>
>>9560040
...That has happened at a lot of cons.

>>9560346
Can confirm I've seen it at least 3 east coast cons.
>>9560538
When was Trojan man, if I may ask?
>>
>>9560523
>At PAX east there was a girl who was kicked out because she was dressed as Clover from VLR.
Heresy.

>That was the year when they started to crack down on booth babes and overlsexual cosplays.
I heard they were seriously policing people's costumes. I wonder if staff has rulers on hand.
>>
>>9560546
You have your interpretation, I'll keep mine.
>>
>>9560615
My medium sized con just kicks the accused out with no questions asked.
>>
>>9560288
All I can think of is tuna melt chan.
Id kick her skanky ass out.
>>
>>9560493
That's a trend now, actually. I've seen so much underage asscheek just walking along Main Street this summer I kept feeling like I was about to get v&. It's probably Kylie Jenner's fault. Most of them had those double French braids, too.
>>
>>9560615
I staff for a large con, and we regularly get people emailing us ahead of time to warn us of a "problematic" individual and how we need to ban the toxic person before they cause trouble. Evidence is also sent in the form of tumblr receipts.
>>
>>9562016
Staff a large con too. We get the same shit. No, we don't care that your shitty ex BF is coming to our con.
>>
>>9561684
That's a very bad practice. Several staff members recognized the accused because he's been a regular at our con for a long time, so we knew the kids were full of shit. When separated, their stories didn't match up anyways. Waste of time.

>>9562016
Jesus christ. That's so funny.

Spooner got kicked out of Hyper Japan today
>>
>>9560523
I knew someone who was "asked to leave" because they had a demilled stripper clip of .308 in their helmet.

He's been kicked out of shit in the past too
>>
While waiting to get my badge one year a 2D cosplayer was asked to put on a shirt by a staff member. It was a real shame the dude was actually cute and it's rare as fuck to see a dude cosplaying 2D since the yaoichicks usually do it instead.
>>
A Senketsu Ryuko cosplayer (the very revealing outfit from kill la kill) was asked to put on a jacket. She blew it really out of proportion on FB afterwards and thought it was because of her fake tits hanging out when in actuality it was because she was in a g string -without- pantyhose and her nasty lower bottom was clearly visible to everyone. Some people are way too thirsty for attention.
>>
>>9562153
So, you're going to police the clothes people wear now based on their size? Oh lord.

>>9560637
I'm not gonna go into detail about this, but thin people shouldn't be treated differently for wearing the same thing their smaller counterparts wear. Everyone should be allowed to wear the same thing if they so choose.
>>
>>9568821
I mean, legally they should be allowed but a con is allowed to make their own rules. And fatties really should learn to dress for the body they have because no one wants to see their disgusting folds.

More surface area. Easier to spot.
>>
>>9568821
I think its fine as long as the same amount of skin is covered. The thing is like boyshorts cover way more skin on a thin girl than they do on a fat girl and thats where the problem lies. Boyshorts cover 90% of a skinny girls ass but on a fatty? Like half of it will be hanging out.
