That dress doesn't fit her properly - the 'lacing' on the boobs just looks weird, as do the 'straps'. The belt is actually suitable for the theme here, but sadly it just accentuates how her dress really doesn't fit her properly. The print also looks really faded out, and the materials cheap - it's just not a good dress in general.
Her blouse's neckline isn't appropriate to the style of the dress.
Her petticoat is the wrong length/shape for the skirt of her dress.
Her wig would look better if it was styled more.

As this OP doesn't exactly have a particularly interesting bodice, and the bodice clearly doesn't fit her chest well (boob-loafing) she'd probably do better with that print as a skirt, as the skirt portion looks nice on her. Potato-cam, and bad lighting. The fact that that the boards either side of her mirror are relatively focused and not that grainy, but the image in the mirror is really grainy would indicate to me that her phone-cam does not deal well with varying light levels, and it tries too hard to glean information from shaded areas, to the point where there's just loads of sensor grain.

Maybe she should have stood facing that bright light so she's well lit (but it will have harsh shadows) and got one of her classmates to take the picture.

Also, why is there a mirror in her classroom?

To be more specific on the photography thing - the portrait/selfie's not too bad, it's the full body photo. Firstly it's blurry, and secondly it's taken from quite low down - that angle makes your legs look disproportionate (plus your pettis are showing). A slightly higher angle would probably be more flattering (and also make your jawline a little more distinct). The weather's clearly windy, which is making it hard to see what sort of shape the skirt portion of the dress has, plus again the issue with the petticoats. I'd adjust the pose, too, so your body isn't quite so side on.

I think the dress is cute, and I agree with the anon who says a different headdress would be appropriate. I figure the gloves might be because it was cold out (if it's that windy), and I don't think they inherently clash with the co-ord.

Not really. She's always been a classic lolita, but tries to go gothic for a bit, didn't work, so she kept the gothic motifs and went pink and it suited her better.

I actually wanted to say you can lose track of your outfit combos, especially if you've done a lot of them (ie- if you've been in lolita for a while and forgotten that you've done a similar combo many years ago, or if you just wear a lot of lolita and go through many different coords).

But I think having these two together is pretty cool. It's so interesting to note how the feel of the coord changes entirely just by changing a couple of accessories. The one with the cat bag feels so much more casual and fun while the one with the black bag seems so much more formal. I think it'd make for a nice blog post to do one coord, and then change up one thing at a time and see how it changes the overall feel of the coord.

A couple of the motifs are embellished with bat wings, and the matching full set from AP is with the Horror Bat bag (AP has re-released the bat bag with every re-release of HL). Plus it's a Halloween release so usually it's either bat wings or witch hats for head wear.

I usually just just do basic bitch with the matching bow (that doesn't even match, lol), but it's kinda obvious why people like doing bats with Holy Lantern.

That's me in the picture. I actually don't razor down my eyebrows, I just have a bad habit of pulling them out so I don't have any. Do you have any suggestions for how to cover this up or draw them in? I've tried drawing them in with eyebrow pencils before but it didn't look good. Thank you also for your comments! The trick would be getting a pencil that has not a lot of pigment and a fairly hard lead to make sure that it's easy to feather the pencil well. Also make sure your product is cool-toned. A lot of people think warm tones work in brows, but generally they end up looking really fake.

For somone new in Lolita this a really solid coord. Given I like simple coords so others might find it too simple. If you want to be really nitpicky I'd say the lace and the big bow on your basket look a bit cheap as well as your socks. The whites are not super matching with your blouse and neither the red on your hat with the wine color on your skirt, but as said this me being super nitpicky.
I like it generally.

if you've had a centre parting for ages and then get bangs you have to train them to grow forwards instead of sideways. I had one of her dresses years ago and it looked so awkward on me because of how long the torso was cut.
