That's actually the least of my problems with it. They can't help their faces. I posted it because it came off to me as looking really frumpy. Kimonos are meant to be really straight, neat looking garments with a lot of straight lines and these just look unflattering and wrinkled. The shiny fabric and flip flops make them look like cheap costumes, and their bad posture isn't helping. (I don't personally know anyone in this group so not vendetta, it just bothered me that it was so messy and people were fauning over the photo anyway.)

I'm actually a build-a-bear employee. A lot of the stuff we sell is brightly colored because it appeals to children and draws them in, though a lot of designs are fucking stupid and I hate that lion.

From personal experience, I usually have girlfriends come in to make bears for their boyfriends. It's fairly common, actually. I do get a lot of older people(basically not a child) getting bears for themselves. Usually they collect them or just hadn't had one in a long time. But the ponies brought out the weird crowds. I'll admit that I bought seven of the ponies when they first came out, but I've since gotten rid of five of them. But we had a great many brownies come in to make their pony loves. I'm assuming that this guy was one of them, judging by the posters on his wall.

Thanks anon for pointing it all out for me. You forgot the poor fabric choice though, you can get better suitable fabric for just as cheap. The pleats weren't made because it was some synthetic stretch fabric completely not suitable for pleats.
