What is AP thinking
>>
>>9522051
For some reason or another AP USA will rerelease Dolly Dot
>>
>>9522051
AP making replicas of themselves now or what?
>>
>>9522095

It restocked on AP's Japanese webshop last week. I thought this print went on sale last year, I'm not sure that they made more of it, maybe they simply found a box of extra sitting in a basement somewhere and tossed a few to AP USA to sell.
>>
>>9522051
I'm really confused as to why they decided to make two sack cuts. I thought they would be unpopular even in japan.

>happy with her purchase because it's the only thing in the store she "couldn't make herself"
>>
>>9522196
I for one am glad, I love this print and hopefully can snag it in another color and more accessories.

I don't know why it wasn't more popular, it's simple with a unique JSK cut. I thought everyone was bitching about over designed prints and the same cuts over and over.
>>
Has anyone ordered from RoseMarie Seoir to Tenso before?

When does the order usually ship out, and arrive at the warehouse?
>>
>>9522229
I think it's pretty lovely, but the bib and bow on the OP are a bit too much for me and the tulle on the hem of the JSK looks a little cheap.
>>
>>9522244
The bow is detachable JSKY. If it's a matter of both at the same time being too much it's an easy fix

Oh my god I saw that, stupid woman was complaining that Innocent World didn't fit her but I doubt that very much, she probably just didn't want to buy brand. She's really snotty about that. She also somehow thinks her ita nightmares are brand-tier when she won't even bother looking at nice lace.
>>
>>9522268
Sack dresses are popular with lolitas in Japan. They are seen as more casual.

I'd feel pity if a) she wasn't so snotty when you politely suggest she look at taobao for proper lolita fabric and lace and b) she didn't shit up our comm's pictures in her trash-tier handmade. Pic related when I see her "coordinates".
>>

>>9522316

Do you have any pics of her disasters?
>>
>>9522321
I wonder if she tried something on, felt the quality, and cried at the sheer beauty of craftsmanship and decided she wouldn't be able to live with her wasted projects next to it if she brought it home. So she opted not to get a dress.
>>
>>9522281
You obviously aren't living in Tokyo if you think so.
>>
>>9522051
anons please help me!
I can't decide about which Gothic arch jsk to buy, short or long.
I'm tall: 1.74 m, but I already have too many long dresses.
The short seems to be more wearable in general, but it would sit way over my knees.

thoughts?
>>
>>9522337
Heh,yeah,go for the short one but maybe find an underskirt? So it elongates it a little bit.
Being tall is hard but i think tallitas are cuties nonethless
>>
>>9522328
yes do share. handmade itas with a chip on their shoulder always make the best ita outfits.
>>
>>9522337
the shortness can work to your advantage in gothic coords, especially with an ero flavor. Mana rocks that shit all the time. try it out.
>>
>>9522337
I agree that short dresses can work well in gothic, but I don't think it suits the style of Neo Gothic Arch. if I were you I'd go for the long JSK.
>>

Looks like knockoff of a dress I recently saw on one of the Japanese secondhand sites, I don't remember what brand except that it was a smaller/lesser known one. Except of course the brand dress had nicer proportions, better fabric quality and much better colour choices.

>>
>>9522494
The problem is that she seems against the very idea of the lolita silhoutte. She doesn't /want/ to follow the rules. She doesn't /want/ to look like the rest of us, and will use F+F pieces as a defense at the slightest hint of implication that what she made isn't lolita.

I dont understand why she thinks she can fit a dress when she knows shes 2cm larger then the MAX measurments?
>>
>>9522532
This was already posted in the right thread
>>
>>9522532
Brands do suggest being a few cm BELOW the max to have a good fit. Being above the max should be a warning sign it might not fit around your body, like at all. It's a miracle so many dresses can be stretched beyond their max (looking good is on another page).
This girl is so delusional, if only this was on RC:UC I could reply.
>>
>>9522532
Her waist measurement is the same as my bust...
>>
>>9522508
My comm has one of those too. To her, being "original" and "not brainwashed by brand" is more important than looking good so whenever someone comments something helpful that could make her creations look more lolita, she responds in a snippy way and does the exact opposite. If they hate the lolita aesthetic so much, why are they in a lolita comm? Did they get kicked out of every more relevant local fashion/sewing community?

>>9522532
I love how someone commented complaining about being too skinny for brand. Prodding the bull there, kiddo.

a 26.5 inch waistline even on a 5'2 short person isn't 'chubby', and definitely isn't on someone taller. Of course it depends on build, but thinking 68cm is chubby is some ED shit
>>
>>9522611

>>
>>9522622
This. I have a 66cm waist (for 163cm) and I own a 2006 Baby skirt which is 66 max. Knowing it's the max makes me feel kinda fat/dumpy but I know it was meant for small azn girls that are usually shorter and thus, thinner in general. But yeah, 68 is definitely not fat at all (depending on how tall you are)

This was depressing to read...I lurked on BtB for so long before joining a comm and was so afraid for the rude lolitas that would judge me but it ended up being me judging everyone in my comm for being angry fatty-chans. I understand why cliques form now? You want to hang out with the people that are like you, the same confidence and fashion level as you. I think I'm the only "normal-sized" person in my 5 man community. They're nice but they rarely talk about the fashion as opposed to the Struggles they face when wearing it. Wish I was in a huge city.

I was literally underweight and had oldschool skirts be too short and small on me, a lot are 64cm min as standard and I've come across 62cm and 60cm ones.
>>
Long time lurker here, finally looking at taking the plunge and putting together a coord. I need to get my measurements, would it be okay to take them myself or should I ask my tailor to do then the next time I bring in dry cleaning?
>>
>>9522725
Wouldn't hurt to have a professional take them. I'd recommend taking them yourself, and then comparing them to whatever your tailor says. That way, you know if you're measuring properly in the future.
>>
>>9522725
Either...? Why is this a question?
>>
>>9522334
Is there anywhere to find Japanese lolitas' snaps?
Is there a Japanese version of CoF?
I'm curious to know what girls over there are wearing.
>>
>>9522738
There's wear.jp and coordisnap.com but both seem to be declining in popularity (like Lookbook here). I think more Japanese lolitas post on Instagram. It's a pity because I really like the format of wear and how you tag pictures, and they were affiliated with some brands like MILK so you can search for outfits with specific pieces.
>>
>>9522744

If Mana was a sweet lolita, then Misako would be the gothic lolita ambassador. People would worship Mana as the holy sugary icon keeping sweet lolita alive.
>>
>>9522878
It's like 3,000/40 so in the grand scale really not that much. But it was enough that Buyee gave me a warning when I was trying to place the bid, that the seller had a "low rating". It could just be any X bad reviews will get that warning but it spooked me. Most of the bad reviews are complaining that they sold dirty, used items that were advertised as new.
>>
>>9522890
I think that should be fine. Buyee does have a limit for bad reviews. Over a certain point, 50 maybe?, it won't let you place a bid even if it's like 50/10,000 lol

As a guy who normally posts on /fa/, would loud-patterned suits pair well with the lolita aesthetic?

I'm not a fan of Ouji and Aristocrat styles on men, and I haven't found a lot of information about more general dandyish styles. The Rococo style interests me in theory, but everything that I've found so far seems really cheap and costumey in a bad way.

I know brolita is a thing, and I am also researching information to put together one full kuro coord. That said, I don't think I'll feel comfortable wearing brolita out aside from Halloween parties and stage performances.

I'm very much an outsider and am not super invested at this point, so I'm fine with any constructive criticism or anyone pointing me in the right direction.
>>
>>9523170
If you're trying to get into a local comm or something then just wearing nice loud suits isn't the right way to do it. That would be like showing up to a painting class with knitting needles. Like you can, but it's weird and not the same thing.

If you wanted to go to an event with a friend who is in the comm, then it's perfectly fine as someone who is a guest.
>>
>>9523170
It could depend entirely on the theme and degree of detail in the print as well as the quality of tailoring. Your example may be good for punk lolita but that's considered a difficult style so not the best place to start.

Im sure you're aware that this fashion style calls for decedent degrees of detail and top notch quality and has a specific tone..Neons and saturated colors are rarely used predominately in Lolita or ouiji garments, some general guidelines for your color palette may be to reach for browns and desaturated colors for classic, black, blackxwine and blackxblue for Gothic, and pastels for sweet. I think sweet would be really hard to source and execute for main peices.

High quality accessories are a must as well, I recommend lapel pins as they're both actively trending and fun to collect. Consider nicely crafted false corsages or orbate cachebons with accents of trim for classic or gothic, enamel pins with matching themes for sweet.

Hope this opinion helps, /fa/ visitor!
>>
>>9522624

I don't know about suits, but I knit my bf vests and pullovers in colours and sometimes patterns that match my coords. He'd look dorky in ouji or aristo and doesn't like those styles, so this is a way for him to participate without feeling too much out of place. He's still with me, though, so I don't know how my comm would feel if he showed up dressed like that by himself. I don't think they'd be too happy about it if they didn't already know him.

Maybe look into otome? I mean, I'm fairly sure otome literally translates into 'young maiden' but the style is about often loud patterns and mixing and matching patterns. I think the style could be tweaked to draw inspiration from it and become like a 'charming boy' version of it. So maybe take inspiration from that? I think its a step closer in the vibe of what you're going for if you're not comfortable wearing dresses. A few brands even sell shorts, but they probably wouldnt fit you, but look to see how girls style more tomboyish yet charming coords. The hardest part of this is you need to be resourceful and have a good eye and potentially handmake or have someone make bespoke items for you.

Look into otome brands like emily temple cute, leur getter but especially Jane Marple i think might be up your alley. Look up fanny rosie maybe (she has more of a classic look)

Things to mix& match for outfits:
top: well tailored blouse, look into vests and cardigans, blazers. some sweaters too
top accessories: handkerchiefs for blazer, brooches, those little things you clip onto your collars corsage, ties, cravats, cross ties are traditionally for women but i think they'd look good on men! i've got a bias against bow ties
bottoms: well tailored pants, wool or tweed shorts, consider salopettes?
socks: fun socks! i like oddpears and i know they sell them in mens sizes. I dont know how you feel about knee highs, but something to consider
shoes: a nice pair of oxfords or loafers.
acessories: watches, cufflinks, hats with ribbon, feathers etc. rings and necklaces too.
You can sway more boyish with the details or work in some lace and bows and cute accessories. Depends on your taste.

Overall, focus on the details. Its about a sort of whimsy from the color, patterns and accessories that would separate it from just a nice clothing ensemble.

This was fun to think about, hope it helped! I'll post some otome pics for you to look at to get a better sense of what im saying.

I wonder if this is a mentality that came from cosplay? Not talking about her skincolor, but posting for likes. I've noticed the girls in my comm who post to CoF often and have a good camera used to cosplay, and besides them nobody really posts their coords except when they made a special effort for a big event or got their dream dress or something. But it may just be my comm.
I hate it when people act like we all want likes.

I disagree. They can look good on girls with a B cup or less, but it's not just that criteria someone has to fit to look good in a sack dress, which is why they're almost universally hated. You have to have a small bustline in general as well as thin arms, thin legs, and an elegant neck in order to pull it off.
>>
>>9523489
True. I'm a pear with a skinny upper body but relatively big thighs, so a cut that shows off my legs (damn your shortness HL) but doesn't define my small bust/underbust/waist makes me look much larger overall. Thin arms alone don't really make up for that.
I don't mind that sack dresses exist but I do get annoyed when they're the only option. At least throw us a skirt or something, AP!
>>
>>9523489
I've a small bust and thin arms, but I guess it's my legs then. not sure about my neck? idk
>>
>>9523496
>I don't mind that sack dresses exist but I do get annoyed when they're the only option.

Yeah, I personally love sack dresses and most high waist cuts (but like, AP's cosmic jsk is a disaster imo) but I don't understand why they'd be the only cuts available for certain prints when they literally only look good on such a small subset of people
>>
>>9523394
It was about a girl (supposedly) falsely accusing an ouji in her comm of rape or something and getting him banned from the comm without his side of the story being told first. It had images of both of them and their faces were blurred out. I dont know who they are or which comm but i saw someone posting about it in a few CoF threads ago. But i think the whole page was deleted because i tried to refresh and see new comments, but lj said the page didnt exist, so i went back to the main btb page and there was a new post but there were only 4 secrets instead of 5 and the ones that remained were out of order

Girl it's not cause you black
>>
>>9523174
I completely agree. I appreciate the strict rules of the aesthetic and would not expect any sort of positive reaction from jumping into a comm with a fit that is decidedly non-lolita.

I'm not sure if I would ever feel comfortable with meetups in general. Male fashion meetups are barely even a thing, and I've never felt the urge to participate in a local meeting. Lolita does have lifestyle aspects that help make meetups a more worthwhile experience, but I don't think I'd feel comfortable attending that kind of meetup unless my gf was in a comm.

A lone dude participating in a lolita meetup seems really suspect.

>>9523177
The focus on tone is what ultimately caught my attention. I've seen plenty of examples of cheap costumey lolita that dudes (and some ladies) wear to Halloween parties and anime conventions. I was surprised and delighted over the past couple of days when I started looking into the major lolita brands.

Themes, strict color coordination, and large prints are all very interesting to me, and they are all essentially non-existent in modern male fashion.
>>
>>9523217
This sounds really cute. I think ouji looks pretty good on women and on slender Asian men, but I think I'd just look like I'm age-playing as a toddler. Additionally, Aristocrat seems to veer a bit too close to steampunk for my tastes. The tonal balance seems a bit too tough for me to successfully pull off.

>>9523243
>>9523244
>>9523246
Thank you. I'll take a deeper look into this.

>>9523249
I really like this as a middle ground between traditional menswear/preppy aesthetics and full-on dressy dresses. It looks like it's actually made of quality materials unlike a generic 'sailor girl' costume. The leather bag seems really nice as well. The blazer definitely makes the whole thing more covert.

>>9523272
>>9523275

I'm certain they aren't wearing normal Disney host outfits, but their fits (and Disneyland tags everywhere) remind me of the Disneyland ghost host costumes. Of course, their outfits have upgraded the materials, details, and general styling versus the standard issue costume. Vintage Disney host costumes might be worth further research.

Aristocrat veers too steampunk? What? Maybe the western interpretation of it.

My boyfriend wears aristocrat and EGA and he's a white guy. I do think some more mature ouji styles would work on him, but he's against anything with shorts.

My friends are complaining that the secrets are dying because it's on livejournal. But come on, fandoms are fine on livejournal so why not a fashion community? Sims normally gets 20+ secrets. There's a closed jpop comm I can't join because they can't keep up with the join requests.

>>9523607
I call my style goth loli when normies ask but cgl is really anal about it.
>>
quick question: Ive been wanting invest in some ETC and JM pieces for more casual wear (specifically JM's preppy styles) and I was wondering whether Im going to need to purchase a more casual/less poofy petti or whether its accepted to go petti-less?
>>
>>9523680
It really depends. Some JM already have one or two layers inside and some ETC dresses look really bad without petticoat, on the other hand JM skirts and a lot of ETC skirts don't fit petticoats.
>>
>>9523240
This is a really interesting concept for mixing with a dandyish look, but don't suggest salopettes to men. Dungaree shorts are instant ageplay on guys, gotta be careful of normal shorts + socks as well. Long dungarees like >>9523272 straddle an awkward line between childish and old-fashioned factory worker - how they came off would really depend on the face and body type of the guy wearing them.

>>9523409
Even petite girls tend to look fat/pregnant in them. They're also really babyish looking.

There's also an ouji thread to check out (>>9460968) and we should have a Manly Monday thread up soon about masculine jfash in general if maleanon keeps up the good work. If you search Manly Monday in the archives some others should come up but not all 4chan archives save pictures so it might not be much good.
>>
>>9523650
Is that pic from the sims?!
>>
>>9523680
Completely depends on the dress, how poofy your existing pettis are, etc, etc. It might be best to wait to see how it looks when it arrives, you often can't judge online.

>>9523607
Obviously not that hyperbolically bad but I hate it, where I live virtually nobody knows what lolita fashion is but plenty of weebs, weebs' friends and people who frequent Internet pornsites know that "loli" is anime pedo porn. Vivienne Westwood are having a sale, including a lot of orb jewellery and the heart bags, plus some cardigans:
http://www.viviennewestwood.com/en-gb/shop/sale/jewellery-womens
http://www.viviennewestwood.com/en-gb/shop/sale/accessories-womens

A few things like the more popular keyrings and the red colourways of both heart bags have sold out since the sale started this morning, but all the loliables in my pic are still up.
>>
>>9523741
Bless you
>>
>>9523746
I'm not that bless-worthy, I got the email notification about this sale 12 hours ago and only just bothered to post it because I didn't want to increase competition for pieces I wanted.

Joke's on me because everything I was looking at except rings and one expensive novelty bag sold out anyway, and I'm super hesistant to buy rings online because don't know my ring size and I'm worried about measuring wrong since my knuckle is quite a lot thicker than the base of my finger.
>>
>>9522887
I used to have a picture of a cute alcapasso as one, but i recently got into fred astaire and ginger rogers films so i have a picture of them from Swing Time!
Yours is super cute though!
maybe some cute lolita phone wallpapers will help motivate me!
>>
>>9523759
>ring size
Here's what I did, anon. Go to any jewelry store and ask them if they'll size you for a ring. If you're not comfortable asking someone you can go to any store like Forever 21 or Claires that has rings clearly marked as "Size __" on the packaging and try them. They may be zip-tied to the packaging and if they are then keep trying until you get one on. This means it's a size too big since it's factoring in the zip tie, so roughly assume your ring size is one down from that.
>>
>>9523808
I've actually never seen sized jewellery in a cheap store like Claire's, they're nearly all adjustable rings or one size only. I'd like to go to a jewellers but I live in the middle of nowhere and it'll be a week until I'm next in the city. Maybe I should try measuring existing rings I have.

Since the cof threads have been disastrous lately, what are your thoughts on doing coord posts from IG instead? The algorithm is wonky but I think it could work. The dump would come from anything under the #lolitafashion tag

I know there's an IG thread but I dont think an image dump like that would be appropriate
>>
>>9523928
it isn't the source of the posts that is the problem, it's the fact that newbs are disrespectful/unaware and can't be assed to lurk before posting.
you can start a themed coord thread for focused dumps. I don't think a random coords from IG thread would be successful. all those can be easily found since they're public.
>>
>>9523928
>The dump would come from anything under the #lolitafashion tag

that would be a disaster of itas, kinksters (lg and sissies), & ita kinksters. bad idea.
>>
>>9523928
Nope. The only way to get a feed of quality coordinates would be to have someone curate specific accounts that people could submit to and follow. Or create a rating community-type of group where you have to prove that you wear lolita before you join, and that your coords are good enough to share.
>>
>>9523941
Bad idea? Sounds like a fucking great idea to me!

Does anyone have any thoughts of the brand Sweet Addiction? They have really cute prints and i see feedback, but the feedback stops about late May.. any thoughts or personal experience with them? Thanks.
>>
>>9523986
I've only seen one in person, and this was about 2 years ago, but the print was really faded looking, cheaply printed fabric. I think the construction was alright, it didn't stand out to me, so some of their nonprint stuff might be nicer

>>
>>9523986
I bought a dress off of them 2 years ago. It was really nice and well constructed. I made an order for a jsk back in march. I still havent recieved it yet. Even though they are in mexico apparently their suppliers and fabric printers are in the USA and have been having trouble with the post and customs getting their supplies shipped to them, and then orders they are trying to ship out being sent back from customs. At least that is what I was told. I dont have any reason not to believe them as the last time there was no shipping wait, and since these problems have occured i havent seen them post on their fb. I guess it makes sense that they wouldnt post updates if they they cant get their fabric across the border.
>>
>>9522051
This print is cute but it would look awful on anybody with tits ;_;

Here's to hoping they do a special set cut that looks better.
>>
>>9523986
I have had two printed jsk from them and gotten rid of both. Fabric quality was acceptable but thin; construction was fine-- Shirring panels were executed and hems were straight and clean. The waist ties were sewn in; yet on one they did have adjustable length shoulder straps.. I'm 163cm tall and they were both too short on me, even with the straps at its longest on the one that provided thst option.
>>
>>9523928
I'd really prefer not to see an IG dump thread. CoF is the most polished of lolita coords or those that are knowingly putting themselves in the spotlight of others that are good at the fashion.

#lolitafashion gets nymphets, fetishests, and all sorts of garbage from those that are clearly outsiders or are hashtag spamming.

Gothic lolita too, Moitie tends to be minimal sillhoutte with just enough lace and embellishments for a touch of luxury. Atelier Pierrot does the structured corset dresses with a really poofy skirt that emphasises a smaller waist.

Not every substyle is puff sleeves and giant poofballs of ruffles.

When writing a lolita guide do you think it's okay to use the pictures of other people? The guides I read when I started out did do that without giving credit. A lot of them were from Japanese lolitas, but obviously those girls didn't post it with the intention of being used on someone else's blog. Whereas if you post on CoF it's pretty much assumed your coord can and will be re-posted.
I've asked a few (efamous) girls if I could use their coords but most of them didn't bother to reply.

If you can't pose for coord pictures, you probably also don't know how to pose for regular pictures.
Just literally google "how to pose for pictures", it's all applicable information. After that, look at some of your fave coord shots and see how they pose.
>>
>>9524235
Ask people to use their photo. If they don't reply or say no, don't use their photo. If you use their content in that way without permission, you can get take down notices and you'll just be a dick in general. People use 4chan to repost photos, but this is an anonymous image board and it's hard to control. If you steal content and put it on a site tied to your identity, that's completely different. Don't do it.

In every guide I've ever seen, those pictures of "random Japanese girls in the street" are either cropped from magazine scans or of lolita models and brand adverts. Fyeahlolita, lolita handbook, lolita guidebook, Avant Gauche, the now-defunct Hello Lace - all of their pictures are of girls who'd already agreed for their pictures to go into the public domain. Thinking those are random girls candids rather than already-published photos is how I know you're new.
>>
>>9524698
I'm talking about photos from blogs like the ones people re-post on tumblr. Some of them even state on their blog that they don't want their pictures reposted (in Japanese tough). I'll probably just go with coords of me and my friends but we can't do every substyle well.

>>
>>9524509
I feel like the following might work: mixing offbrand oxyclean for sensitive skin (dye and perfume free) with warm water and rubbing a bit into the stain and letting it sit with a damp towel over to keep it moist. after 2 or 3 hours wash in cold water by hand or inside out in mesh bag on delicate in machine. finally, after hanging to dry you can keep it inside out and steam the wrinkles out with a handheld steamer. I'll have to look up if you can steam the applique directly, but just to be safe I'd pin the lining up and steam from the underside.

maybe some other anons can chime in and add to my advice
>>
>>9524815
One is OK and even two in different colours can be justified. But I've never seen them put three identical items in a single luckypack. I get that they want to get rid of stock, but who on earth would be happy to receive that?

This bait is dumb. I'm skinny and a "shapeless bag" is pretty comfy. Why do you think sleepwear companies make nighties/chemises like that similar shapes?

It's been about 3 days since I won a listing on LM and I still haven't received an invoice. I messaged the seller yesterday and she hasn't read it yet. Never really been in this situation before, how would you gulls handle it? How long should I wait to receive one? Should I send another message tomorrow?
>>
>>9524956
>>9524956
I had this happen, /cgl/ told me to be patient and it was 8 fucking months till the seller responded.

I'd say give a week before leaving negative feedback.
>>
>>9524960
That's about what I was leaning towards. Thanks anon!
>>
>>9524956
I've had problems with LM notifying me of winning bids and messages before. If the seller has any external links I'd send them a courtesy message through another medium before leaving neg feedback.

It's for people who don't normally fit the bust or waist for their good cuts. Sorry you can't fit into normal AP.

It's for APs designers to shit something out quickly**

>>
>>9525090
nayrt, but don't be ridiculous. fat people just happen to like them because they fit into it, but sack dresses are meant for skinny people who can pull it off
>>
>>9525093
I agree with this. Sack cuts definitely feel lazy. I wish they'd step up their game with decent OPs again.
>>
>>9525090
you must be delusional if you think fatties look good in sack dresses
just cause it fits doesn't mean it looks good
>>
>ITT: 4chan once again forgets that people can have different opinions about a dress cut without actually having a weight issue or being skinny enough for AP to be too big.

But please, continue to yell at each other about who is the fat dumbass that's wrong. It's not like there are better things to discuss or anything...

Okay, but the definition of cgl is "Let's yell at each other about who is and isn't a fat dumbass or a skeletard" while the other boards watch as we deteriorate into troglodyte pieces of shit who pollute our own threads with replies to bait.

It's just how people who are too stupid to carry on a normal conversation tend to talk to each other, I don't know how some of these people manage in public.

How big (bra size and measurements) are your boobs to fit in to unshirred brand? Or even older brand pieces.

25-27/65-70D. Depends a lot on the brand. My bust measurement is 86cm.
>>
Well, summer just showed up in this thread
>>
So what is the aftermath of the Early Summer IW sale for everyone here?

Out of 6 items I placed an order for (1 OP, 2 blouses, 2 bow accessories, 1 JSK) all I got was the JSK.

I'm just glad I didn't have to pay ¥2,900 shipping some headbows like some anons did. I'm content with my plain solid JSK.

What items did you go for and what did you actually get invoiced for?
>>
>>9525343

Dang, still no invoice for me. Should I email them? I ordered 3 prints though, I have a feeling all three are prob gone and they forgot to write me a "sorry it's sold out" email.
>>
>>9525343
I ordered 5 items (1 OP, 1 JSK, 3 blouses) and supposedly got everything (one of the blouses had to be sourced from one of the shops so my package hasn't actually been shipped yet), but I'm in Japan. I've never ordered from them before, do they favor domestic orders? I ordered at around 2pm local time on the first day so I wasn't particularly fast. Maybe my items just weren't that popular.

I have a lot of lovely dresses I'm planning to sell. I really want to document the details of their beauty in some way. I wanted to do YouTube videos but am now thinking about a daily/weekly Instagram detail post. Which is preferred?
>>
>>9525343
I ordered a jsk and a bolero out of 70% discount section and socks from 50% sectiin. Got invoiced only for socks and cancelled my order.
>>
>>9525352
If you have an international tracking number you can try putting it into your post system and see if it finds anything!
>>
>>9525350
Did you order from the Japanese site? I was there from around the start but used the English site. I think I only got the JSK because it seemed extremely unpopular and every colorway was in stock all throughout the sale period.

I do think they prioritize Japanese orders over English orders, sadly. The English site doesn't even have a shopping cart or membership, but the Japanese side does. It seems like if the Japanese buy first, it shows up as out of stock on the English site.
>>
>>9525300
32B measurement is 81-82 cm

Honestly I'm very very curious to see what this looks like, would you be willing to post a pic without showing your face or identifying features? clothed of course I just am curious of your proportions

are they fake? do you have back issues? is finding a bra hard as all hell? I'm intrigued as fuck over here
>>

YouTube or blogs would be better since it'd be easier to search/rewatch, Instagram stuff gets swept away in the flood.
>>
>>9525382
Nayrt but wut? Do you think anon has monster tits or something? I wear 60E/F depending on the model, and volume wise my boobs are no bigger than oranges.
Finding bras is a pain though. I've just been ordering the same model from one brand for years now.
>>
>>9525305
Got a reply from them:
"We are glad that we are pleased with our customers.
I am sorry that the same dress is included.
This Happy Pack shipped our sample items to customers, so the same items were sometimes included. "
>>
>>9525382
Nayrt but D's aren't that big. I wear a 65C/D and get teased for having small breasts all the time.
>joke's on them though because nearly all Jfash fits me perfectly
>>
>>9525435
cup size doesn't mean how big your boobs are, but the difference between your underbust measurement and the measurement around the widest part of your bust.

so you can have an F cup but they might look small just because your underbust is small too (taking into account that you don't wear extremely tight fitting clothes, then ofcourse they will look bigger)
>>
>>9525367
Yes, I ordered from the Japanese site. That's pretty shitty if they do favor domestic orders, and they really should fix their shopping cart and inventory system.
>>
>>9525438

>>
>>9525174
thanks anon !
>>
>>9525455
Probably not since you can't use PayPal or credit cards directly on their website (the only way to pay by card is to order it via cash-on-demand and then pay the delivery person by card). You would have to use an individual shopping service who handles payment for you.
>>
>>9525458
If you paid for 3 leftover dresses you get 3 leftover dresses. they're only doing this to get rid of stock.

>>9525463

People really overestimate cup sizes because many big brands only go up to DD to cut costs, and therefore try to sell DD as BIG HUGE BOOBIES WOW ENORMOUS TITS when in reality, D's are really average for Westerners. I used to wear 32A because I thought that, having small breasts compared to other girls, I must be an A cup, but it turns out I really need a 28C. Many people who only shop at Victoria's Secret still think that any cup size over DD is made up or freakishly large when really, it might actually be what they ought to be wearing instead of like 36DD. Many women are wearing a too big band size and too small cup size.
>>
I havent bought anything on yahoo auctions in like 3 years, and back then i was using a personal SS.
Testing out buyee for the first time, what plan do you guys recommend? is lite a bad idea? should I just go with standard?
>>
>>9525300
I can't give a bra size as that depends so much on body type, hugely different sizes might have the same bust measurement. But I think you need to be under 92cm bust to fit into most unshirred brand. I'm 86cm and some pieces are a little tight but I've never come across any brand item, even owning 20 oldschool pieces, that didn't fit me at all. I also own brand items that are too big on me at 86, including older and unshirred pieces. There are a lot of older pieces with 84cm maximum, but I can get down to that with a sports bra. A small amount of pieces are 82cm max but at that point you'd be too small for a lot of modern releases, so it's not a useful goal (plus most of the old tiny releases are super short and wouldn't look right unless you were under 5'2", even if your bust was 82cm).

Personally I think if you're in the 84-89cm range you can use shapewear to fit most things (I switch between no bra, sports bra, un-padded bra, normal thinly padded bra, thickly padded bra, etc. depending on the dress), but the ideal size range really depends on your preferred brand. Depending on your height, some empire waisted cuts might not fit properly even if you're an A-cup because your torso is too long for the dress.

Not really?
Chest circumference: 60 cm. Bust circumference: 90 cm (give or take). A 30 cm difference = F cups.

I'm the anon you were replying to and other anons gave you pretty good answers already. They aren't that big, they are equal to 75C, 80B and 85A. It's most likely the true average as many people are using wrong size. I used to use 75C because I didn't know and used a calculator for the right size and it also helped me to understand how bra sizes work. I used to be something like 65/60B when I was skinnier and younger but I got into bc and my boobs got bigger. I use bralettes a lot, my boobs are quite perky and I could even go braless easily. No pain either. I'm pretty happy with them but I could do with less, especially in lolita a smaller cup size would be good.

I'm 62/81, with a bra size of 28E/30DD depending on brand.
Nothing fits, everything is big unless it has tight shirring with corset lacing. It makes me sad because I was hoping I'd at least fit MM or JetJ. Seems like Moitie is the only thing that actually fits. Generally I just make do with things being a bit too big.
