First co-ord is cute, bows go with how her dress is all the ruffles and all the colours... BUT

Second co-ord... she knows better than this. I don't know why she needs two bags (like maybe practically, but in the photo?), shoes a different pink to her dress, and wtf is with ALL that stuff in her hair. The rest of her outfit is not that OTT and the rosettes don't go with anything, plus she's really shoe-horning in the mint when it's barely in the print. With a simpler wig and not so much stuff clipped to it, this would be cute. Shoes would still be slightly off, but it's something that could be just a nitpick. This is honest feedback to help you. It's a rough road from masculine to Kawaii. The biggest thing you need to focus on is to get use to daily maintenance with eyebrows and hair styling.

Learn how to do makeup, and cut your hair. If you can't get bangs, get a wig or at least clip-ins.

Your hair seems nice, it would definitely help to style it, straightened and perhaps curled at the ends. Theres a lot of tutorials for hair style ideas. Clip in bangs might also help you. The clips on the side of your face aren't doing you any favours, get rid of them and maybe go for a small hairbow or alternative hair accessory. Let your hair fall around your face so your jawline is less prominent. Hard to tell from such a small picture but you need to shave more closer.

Get rid of your glasses or get a new pair that are cuter. Your lip colour is a little too bright for lolita, perhaps consider more muted colours.

Your biceps vs forearms and hands are weirdly proportioned. Perhaps hit the gym for a bit so they can even out. You could also maybe consider something long sleeved.

If you're actually commited to lolita, get a better quality dress, the lace seems bad and it really shows. You also need a poofier petticoat to get that lolita silhoutte. Accessories/jewellery would also improve your coord which at the moment is very, very basic.

Overall it isn't terrible. Your shoulders are quite narrow, which is good and your hair colour suits the dress. Your figure is relatively good too.

I actually like the dress -except for one thing - the bottom lace looks like an inappropriate underskirt. No visible raschel lace, and the sleeves are cute. Skirt looks like it could take more petticoats/puffier ones than she's wearing with it.

Definitely should wear darker shoes, and the pose in the lefthand pic is cringe-y. She also needs to style her bangs and put some wig pins in 'cause that wig is falling over her face.

According to the lolibrary information on it, its 91 cm long. I'm 5'4 and that dress would fall about 5 inches below the knees for me. As a guy who normally posts on /fa/, would loud-patterned suits pair well with the lolita aesthetic?

I'm not a fan of Ouji and Aristocrat styles on men, and I haven't found a lot of information about more general dandyish styles. The Rococo style interests me in theory, but everything that I've found so far seems really cheap and costumey in a bad way.

I know brolita is a thing, and I am also researching information to put together one full kuro coord. That said, I don't think I'll feel comfortable wearing brolita out aside from Halloween parties and stage performances.


I'm very much an outsider and am not super invested at this point, so I'm fine with any constructive criticism or anyone pointing me in the right direction.
