trying to figure out a cosplay that could work for someome over weight
osono cosplay always works. easy, cheap, and relatively comfortable. she's technically preg but like anyone will give a shit
How fat we talking?
Ellie from Borderlands 2 has always been a character I wanted to do
The witch of the waste from Howl's Moving Castle could work.

Okay I have no idea who she is but shes fucking adorable.

Eunice from Rune Factory Frontier. And yes, she is
Nikuko from Please tell me! Galko-Chan.
Super Pochaco

Will definitely be cosplaying him when im a muscular fat balding guy having a midlife crisis.
Rose quartz. Fantastic.
The radish spirit
Literally any costume.
Hilda from Shadow Hearts. Outfit's kinda mid 2000s Hot Topic ita though and probably hardly recognizable at this point so you might be mistaken for an actual ita not cosplaying anything or shitty Misa Amane.

And Emi Isuzu from Tenjou Tenge. I can't find decent pics, but her "true" form is actually morbidly obese. She has about a half dozen different outfits in official artwork aside from her school uniform so there's options.
I don't see another thread to post this question in
I'm working on updating my Wario cosplay, it's a little beat up. I have to remake the overalls.
Jeans or slacks for the pants portion? I used jeans last time but I'm wondering if slacks would work better, get more of a sheen look.

Moomookun should cosplay this.
>Sophocles and Wulfric from Pokémon
>Fat Princess from Fat Princess
>Quina from Final Fantasy 9
Not pictured, but there's a lot of body types in One Piece to choose from, too. Big Mom and Moira come to mind.
Also, for characters said to be chubby but are never drawn that way, I feel like it's fine to cosplay them, too. For instance, Pig Macaron from Show by Rock!! is said to get emotional and eat a lot of sweets and thus she gains weight, but she isn't drawn any different from other girls.
It's more common to find heavy dudes than women, but they've been a trend in the last couple of decades.

Amythest, too.

She's adorable.

I chuckled at this
The character herself isn't fat but her costume design works very well for larger girls, and most of the good cosplays I've seen of her are overweight. (Dorothea from Avalon Code.) She's also cake and sweets obsessed so it works in character.
You see very few people pulling a Fred Dukes, and the man has had his share of outfits over the years.
Hell, I'm a tall and heavy guy and my longterm considerations of doing this have been tabled for worried I'll look too small in the singlet and dance belt.
A man can dream, though. A man can dream.

Though of all his outfits, his last appearance was a bit surprising.

Lol as a day person who does Osono somewhat on the reg, it works out well. No one has said anything yet

Shonen stuff with large casts always have some big characters. One Piece and Fairy Tail have lots. No 13 from Boku no Hero would work pretty well for a short fatty
Ellie from Borderlands 2
When all seems hopeless, just remember
Chicks dig giant robots.
This one's a classic

Accurate. Flood warnings when I see a good Transformers cosplay.
Fatman and Sundowner
>>9513836
if you cosplay Fatman don't forget the nail polish!
>>9513807
No, it's supposed to be Coop from Megas XLR.

Really want to do Fatman and rollerskate at a con. I'm 6'1 and 280lb but most of that is in my thighs and stomach. Looks like id need way more layers or even a wire shell to get that look without ACTUALLY having a bombproof vest on. Besides that it should be easy enough to get everything else right? Like at an army surplus store? I'm new at this.
