piggybacking off of this, I got a dress off of lacemarket and its shipping from UK to the US. Royal Mail tracking said that "Your item, posted on 02/05/17 has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". USPS says that it hasn't even left the UK yet. Can you call them? I had that happen to a package from ebay, overseas carrier said they'd shipped, my local carrier had no record. Called the local carrier and they said they have frequent complaints about the overseas carrier claiming they shipped stuff when it's actually MIA. Contacted ebay and got a refund. If it's not insured, you and your seller will have a conflict.

My JetJ amour d'amants skirt is arriving tomorrow, and I got this in navy last week. Now I'm done as far as summer updates to my wardrobe are concerned.

Seconding this, I'm having a hard time finding good nanchatte shops.

My big ol Taobao parcel (sent by SAL) said it had "arrived in Canada and was sent for further processing" and then about an hour later updated to "released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing". Do I have any hope remaining that I havent been hit badly by customs, or should I just accept my fate? This enchantlic enchantilly stole from closet child, arriving at the end of the week. It's my first EE item, and if I like the print I might spring for a dress or skirt in a colorway I like. And a single string of real pearls and earrings set to wear with light-colored classic. I want some boleros and blouses, but I'm always worried about my shoulders being able to move so I'm going to a physical store during the summer sales.

The quality is really great. The lace, satin bands and embroidery is beautiful. My camera didn't capture the colors very well, but everything is pretty much exactly like what you see in the shop. Only exception is the bra in the left bottom corner. It's classified as 'purple' or 'lilac' but it's really actually more white. Lace is beautiful though.
I was a bit worried about the sizing (because asians y'know) but I bought the exact size I usually wear and it fits (european 75E).
It's not the cheapest lingerie due to shipping+customs but they also have good deals and quality-wise it's really worth the money. My underwear drawer got cute as fuck.

Thanks to the gulls in the Dream Dress thread, I was able to buy it for a great price! Though I'm kinda worried- for gulls that live in Japan, Maiden Clothing used Sagawa Express and I checked the tracking number and it says "Exception: Please contact the Sagawa branch." Should I contact them or wait a day or two to see if the status updates? Sorry for the dumb question, I just moved here a month ago and have no idea how the local postal system works here.

Thought I'd review the yukata set:
The yukata itself is really nice, so I'm happy about that.
The lame obi is somehow two layers and VERY difficult to fold/tie correctly. It also has an annoying glitter spray that has gotten all over my floor. It looks like solid cloth in all of their pictures.
The geta are too small even though I only have 23cm feet, so not sure how they can be described as free size if they are too small for even a normal Japanese size.
The obi-jime looks NOTHING like the picture. It's 3x shorter, the pearls and jewel chain slides around. It's not the same material and it has frayed ends as opposed to capped ones. I'm most disappointed about this, but I don't feel my business Japanese is good enough to email a complaint.

So yeah, I feel I could have gotten better quality from Uniqlo or something, but I got sucked in by the unique designs and good reviews.

Much needed bodyline order! I've had bad luck with blouses lately- Either they don't fit nicely on my boobs (even though they should) and my latest AP blouse is weirdly tight on my upper arms. At least if Bodyline betrays me the blouse was cheap. I would've got a smaller petti for my skirts but literally none of the suitable ones were available in anything but bright red.

For the first time in 6 years of being a lolita the USPS lost a package of mine containing a head band and I am really upset. It was a dream item for me and while I know it's fairly generic in concept and I didn't pay much at all and can get something similar I'm still really upset.

My wallet arrived today! First of all, excuse the shitty photo. I'm overall really happy with it, I fell in love with the design since I saw it and it's gorgeous in person. The quality is pretty nice, I have some bags of the same material that have hold up pretty well and are easy to clean. As for size, it's larger than I expected, to be honest I'm not fond of using wallets as bags because they don't carry much, but in this one I can easily fit my cellphone, a lipstick, headphones and some tissues (besides anything else you would normally have in a wallet) so I wouldn't mind using it as bag from time to time. That being said, it still fits inside most of my bags like a regular wallet. The back is transparent so you can use your phone without taking it out but you can also use it to hold your train pass which is cool. That's pretty much it, I hope it was useful.

Atelier Pierrot dress is dreamdress and got it for 58 euro of wunderwelt, but I'm now waiting on customs and it's killing me.

Surface spell dress is made to measure, and the bonnet has chiffon closure on request. Both (badly) photoshopped to represent final colour/apperance. Souffle song dress was nice and only costed 35 euro, altrough I've heard pretty bad stories about the owner from a Chinese friend (which might be why I never seen the brand on Chinese lolita updates). Apperantly Chinese lolita's don't like her much, but for 35 euro while having need to pad my wardobe and it perfectly fitting in a coord I'm planning I put my feelings asside.

I'm a happy camper this month!
- bought dream skirt and the matching beret for it (AP Tartan Holic)
- bought highly desired wishlist dress as a set with NWT accessories (AP Luminous Sanctuary)
- bought a beautiful 2002 Baby jsk for like 50$ (bot sure of the exact name, lolibrary calls it Fairy Print JSK)
- DreamHolic's Blanca wig, my fave model, in another colorway
- some legwear and Taobao accessories I need

Also about to pick up my first printed copies of GLB and Kera!
Can't wait for it all to arrive woohoo

Yeah once my prizes get to my house I'm going to close down my account. I spent WAY too much trying to get that cat pouch because I had it right on the edge, timed out trying to buy points, then had to quietly rage when someone fucked up and tossed it back from the edge. Spent another $5 getting it back to the edge and into the prize slot.

The Daramofu-san is worth it though. It's pic related and I got it in one play so that lessens the sting.

Just glad I'm getting out before the Halloween goods hit the machine.

Argh. So the bottom three items are in mail limbo hell because Japonica shipped to my old address from 2011 despite me having moved 3 times and putting my current address in very clearly. The post office can't do anything about it and are apparently obliged to try to deliver it so I'm sitting hoping no-one signs for it so it can go back to Japan and then hopefully to me...

They're even better than what I expected. Fit just right (I was worried about that because my feet are big and slightly asymmetrical). The leather is soft and I could walk around with them without damaging my feet right out of the box.

Apparently not. The problem is that it's being handled by a sub contracted courier company in my old town because they have some deal where they get the EMS packages, and their customer service is less than useless so it's not as straightforward as going through the regular post office.
