When worn, visually, they cut your leg in half because they switch from a bright pastel with patterns down the side, to a horizontal pattern in neutrals. Go full full set brandwhore with AP's own tea party flat shoes, and most girls tend to end up looking short. Now top that off with most Western girls being tall enough that they show skin at the top of their OTKs, and they look stumpy, short and fat. The effect is worse with the other colours, especially pink and mint.

If we discount the shoes I think there is the basis for 2 good coords with this skirt here.
Coord 1- change the socks to black ones with a pink print- maybe crowns to match the cutsew. Then go for white shoes.
Coord 2- change the cutsew for one with white details and lose the other pink details. A black bag and shoes or a white bag and shoes would be equally good I think.
I think both would look better with a black headbow with white lace, but this bow is super cute so maybe just add another small white bow instead? I wish my hair had the kind of volume, it really works for head eating bows!
