Alao anybody planning or working on botw cosplay? I have one friend making ancient armor Link, another doing Purah, and another making Mipha.

I'm planning to make great fairy Cotera. I wish we could see more of the lower half. I'm guessing it's a mermaid tail or something similar. I'm probably going to do some kind of layered skirt like how the Love Live mermaid set did the tails.

What would you recommend for the lines on Zelda's undershirt? I've seen some cosplayers try and paint them on but I personally don't like how flat it looks. It almost looks like her shirt is quilted, which would give it some nice depth but I'm worried about how bulky/warm it would be. Any ideas on how to tackle this?

What fabrics would you recommend? I'm not the person who wanted to cosplay it before, but I'm working on building a fabric list.

Thinking about making the veil/arms out of organza/tulle, dying it, and painting the circles and designs on it. Pants and chest I can just use cotton or rayon linen, and make the gold accents with ribbons or for the bracelets, make it out of EVA.

Think that'd work out or would the Organza be too hard to shape/keep together and make look good?

I recently have been working on a Shantae cosplay and I couldn't find a good light weight semi-see through red in the normal fabric area. I went with a lining fabric for jackets and stuff. If you're really set on this, you could get it commissioned, but if you ant it to be decent quality, you're gonna have to pay quite a lot for it, and it will take time for the person you commission to make it

i don't think it matters, what imo matter is the shape of the person as in women that don't have very wide hips or a large chest and men that don't have overly broad shoulders. i mean Link's pretty much always sat somewhere in the middle between men and women imo.

as for make up...just go for something simple. don't do heavy eyeliner, no wings and keep the eyebrows on the thicker side. anything aside from that--contouring--depends on your own facial features, so do what works for your own face.

I decided to throw together a last-minute Tingle for AX this year. I have an open-faced zentai suit and a piece of foam core that I shaped into a cone, but the suit is too tight to just stick it underneath. I have access to extra green stretch fabric I can use but I'm not sure what the best way to go about it would be. I'd rather avoid making a totally seperate head piece if possible.

Any advice on sewing these sleeves? I can't find anything to base a pattern off of, but looks like small pentagonal cutouts across a regular sleeve should work, but I'm not sure.
