Yes please. I wish this were a staple on /cgl/.

Hip instructions. These always confuse me. I can never get them looking right, especially when I pattern them myself. Anyone have tips?
I've been thinking about doing a plush-making panel at a local con. I can't decide if this is a good or bad idea. I don't usually see these types of panels at cons I go to.

I'd reccommend avoiding such cancerous garbage

I don't make ponies. I'm talking about putting hip gussets on any four-legged animal type plush.

Thanks, friend.
Does anyone know which paints and fabric medium are optimal for airbrushing minky, or any tutorials in general? I can't find anything short of paying $25 just to access a video on Nazegoreng's patreon archive.

Does she have it on gumshoe or gumroad, whatever that site is called? I've seen a few of the patreon plush makers using that site now, and just uploading each individual video so you can pay a couple bucks as opposed to contributing for a whole month.

I'm sure it would be popular! Most people don't host them simply because your average panel hosting seamstress is going to have a cosplay panel.
Does anyone remembers those monster plushies that were mostly black with a single eye? I got a flashback some days ago and my google fu failed, i really want to know if that person is still doing commissions. I think they called them bugs or something like that.

Do you think it's a good idea to split it into potentially 2, a 101 and 201? There's just so much to go over, I feel like I can easily take up an hour on basic and advanced techniques and I'd like to actually go into some level of detail.

Is it potentially this girl? http://loveandasandwich.deviantart.com/

I don't see why not as long as you're approved for them! I've personally seen similar art tutorial type panels split into beginner, intermediate, & advanced panels.

I found her Gumroad account and it is indeed there. Thank you for the heads up!

She doesn't seem like the person I'm looking for, sorry anon, but thank you for your help. Maybe that person disappeared, i mean, i saw their artwork in 2004 or something like that.

Honestly, the only way this could be good is if it were purely information skills based. I've been to plush making panels that actually tried to make something before and it goes terribly. Not enough supplies, not enough time, nobody knows how to thread a need or make a stitch, and nothing results.
Technically should be in /toy/..

I feel bad for these people. I often have beginner plush artists asking me for trades, and while I want to support them, I just don't feel like the trade is equal.
Trades are difficult in general. I've often come out with more work than the other person, but I'm too beta to say anything.

I remember getting a trade request from a beginner who started a Patreon.
But I agree. I feel bad turning down beginners for the same reason, especially when I would like to do an equal trade myself but I work so slowly that I would hate to make the other half wait even with constant updates.
