Not so much characters. But I collect Tabletop minis, though I don't play, I just like painting them.

I've already cosplayed a Sister of Battle but I want to cosplay some Raging Heroes and Corvus Belli designs too. Especially CV. I love their minis, they're pretty cute.

This would be so cool to see!! I think the high rate of turn around for characters in Masked Singer makes it harder for people to recognize, but kudos. If you took this to a kpop con, I'm sure people would recognize it-but hard to say at an anime con.

I've seen people "cosplay" BTS and Running Man by wear their merch/MV looks or for the latter, the jumpsuits with people's names on it. Still unrecognizable unless people watch Korean variety-and even then it took a double take for me because it looks like normal wear and not cosplay. So that might be a pro for this once because you are clearly cosplaying something.

I actually cosplay Gilbert from Kaze to Ki no Uta occasionally, only once have I ever been recognized. Partly because it's a shoujo melodrama from the mid 70s, partly because original art is so stylized that it doesn't translate all that well to real life.

I've kind of always wanted to do a Yuri Ishtar cosplay - mainly from Red River being one of my favorite shoujo mangas ever, I don't understand why it isn't more widely read. Problems are mainly that she doesn't have a signature outfit at all, and you'd really have to be with other characters to be really recognized.

Googling for an image to use led me to see that there are a handful of people who have cosplayed from Red River, including a 10/10 Kail who I would recognize in a heartbeat, which brought me a lot of happiness. Maybe there is hope!

Seeing as she's the self-insert of a mobile male idol game, her entire design is built around being as generic as possible. Am I missing something here? You all shit on popular cosplayers for being "attention seekers," but won't cosplay a character because it's not well-known enough? I thought gulls only cosplayed for "love of the character," because anyone wanting attention or recognition is apparently an irredeemable fake nerd slut.

Personally, I have no problem cosplaying obscure characters. Too much attention gets uncomfortable after a while. Getting stopped for pictures multiple times a minute is nice at first, but quickly starts to feel restrictive. Obscure characters allow me to maintain my high level of craftsmanship with less notice from others.

Because Courtney Love and the story was pretty awful. I mean it was very 15 year old Hot Topic gremlin romance fantasy and even as a 15 year old Hot Topic gremlin I found the story cringey. Most of the designs are generic ita rufflemonsters or "throw a bunch of metal and belts on it so it looks 'alternative'".

I'm throwing shade, but honestly I don't think those outfits really count as "great" costume design lol. If you check DA there is a small handful of cosplayers.

It would be great to at the very least get an Ustu ghost, but I don't know how viable that would be, I don't think a lot of people like doing bedsheet ghost cosplays.

It's good to know there's a few other Utsu-P fans here. The other cosplays I'd consider doing to celebrate my love for his music would be Hansi's Miku or the fawn Miku from potato-head in wonderland but those are both way more risque than living ghost Flower.

Eh, I think it's a stretch to say nobody knows her inside the Vocaloid fandom. Especially since Circus-P kinda popularized her. There's definitely a lot more obscure Vocaloids than her.

That being said, 99% of people only know Miku and maybe the other Cryptonloids, but I'm sure at least some people would recognize you. I definitely would!

At least it's not Mew and Chika honestly. Mew is just a generic punk girl, Chika...I actually had to look up what her name was, I had so completely forgotten her. Sonika at least is known to old Vocaloid fans.

Sometimes I still want to induldge my old Vocaloid fan self and cosplay Gakuko from the Nishiki no Mai PV (man, back in the day where every Vocaloid had a genderbend...), but it's honestly very low priority for me now.

Now in real obscurity, I actually was really into the UTAU community and kind of want to cosplay one someday like my favorite Tsukishiro Hakupo, but it feels like it would come off too much as donut steel muh Vocaloid OC.
