last thread is saging
for all your cringe ll/imas/indie dance group needs

well, this wasn't posted about last thread but it looks like stellure is trying to make merch now?
also, thread question: what do you think would make a majority of groups less shitty? i was enjoying the stellure critique jam after their pv came out
>>
I find it funny how the cringe dance groups thread kind of just became an indie idol group thread.

>>9429581
> what do you think would make a majority of groups less shitty?
Aim lower and work on basics. Stellure is making a good example of aiming too high without working their way up. They need to be willing to put in a lot more practice and recording time to get the quality of the idols they want to be. More than that, the whole "anime idol" aesthetic. it's cute for promos and charms like these, but having actual wigs (especially cheap ones) just pushes it more into cringe area.
That being said, I do hope for Stellure to improve. Seeing girls go from ordinary to extraordinary is what makes idols idols.
>>
>>9429581
>what do you think would make a majority of groups less shitty?

Good vocals, better hair/makeup/outfits, no hamplanets
>>
"callisto", are you kidding me
>>
Speaking of Stellure, I'd like to see them use a modified version of this design sometime (sans wings). It's my favorite out of the drawings they've done so far.
>>
>>9429688
it has potential but i don't think it'd translate well into real life. a lot of their designs are alright for drawings, but they're not practical enough to become a real thing. definitely since they're not drawn on bodies that resemble the actual stellure girls' bodies
>>
>>9429581

Stellure sure knows how to market themselves to Love Live weebs.
Though I find it a bit weird that they're selling merchandise after that disaster of a music video they just gave up on and released as is because "it was the best they could do." At least they aren't like Shining Academy or Rebel Symphony trying to crowdfund ~$1,000 so they could debut.

>>9429926
>Simplify outfits, use natural hair
Pic related, Stellure could keep their cutesy pastel-haired anime idol personas and then dress themselves more practically and style their natural hair.

I have to agree. If the girl they are cover doesnt have have pastel colored hair then sure you dye it but pastel hair colors just dont work and it is better value just to get a stylist to help you get that idol hair look without looking gaudy like a cheap wig does

>What would make for less shitty dance groups?

1. Be able to sing
2. Be able to compose music beyond shitty pre-made keyboard tracks
3. Lyrics; try not to be cheesy (singing about friendship is cheesy no matter what). Failing that make everything else catchy af
4. Choreograph a good dance routine which is possible for all your members to do with their fitness level (or improve their fitness level)
5. Thought out outfits that are restyled to suit all shapes of the group, nothing too complex ie coloured circle skirt and a shirt
6. No wigs (unless you're a cover group)
7. Do not start hyping until song is in its last stages of completion and remaining list is mostly finished
8. Get a decent camera
9. Publish your shit when you say you are

Such a genuinely fun idea, made even better with the fact that they're awkward, gangly dudes
>>
>>9433035
The overall concept, I guess. Why are they so close to the camera? Why aren't they actually dancing in a video labeled "dance cover"? is "eye contact ver" a normal way to film dance/idol videos and I've just been unaware this whole time?
>>
>>9433050

Its something that is very popular in kpop. You ask any kpop fan and they will explain how the eye contact ver.
>>
>>9433373
>>9433050
Seems almost infantalizing and definitely narcissistic. It's gross.
>>
>>9433384
>>9433373
So I decided to look up "kpop eye contact version" on youtube because this is a new thing to me and I found the eye contact version for the dance they were "covering" and this is what it's actually supposed to look like.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4uYvMygQzI&
>>
>>9433569
The official TWICE one is still a little infantilizing to me but I feel that way towards a lot of kpop girl groups that go for the cutesy look. The pouty duck lips and upturned eyebrows they always use are so punchable to me.

But the LL one is just straight creepy because of the lack of dance; it feels like you're a guy in the middle of all these girls standing around doing nothing until they get their chance to be in onii-chan/producer-sama's face. Like a harem competing for him and making cutesy faces at him.
>>
>>9433569
See, I found this one too but it was so different that I didn't even believe it was what the LL group was trying to do. This one is has actual dancing, both from the girl in the spotlight and the girls not in focus. The cover has...the girl in the spotlight making cutesy faces and the rest standing around awkwardly. I can't even call the LL one a dance.

The other day, the leader of NovaDrop made a thread asking for advice on how not to be like the groups featured in these "cringy dance groups" threads. Pic related.

>Aiming to be an American J-Pop Idol
>I'm hoping that it doesn't seem that I think that being an idol is some romanticized notion for me
Do people think they can become idols just because idols don't necessarily need to be talented? You still need to be cute and charismatic, and not a lot of aspiring idols fall into any of those categories.

In other news, Flusay Girls finally released a new song.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NpnfhyIeAU
It's... not completely horrendous... I guess, when you consider the other shit they've made.
The preset instrumental trance loop clashes pretty badly with the lifeless autotuned vocals singing bouncing bunnies... I hope they'll make a music video for this song.

I agree. They're not professionals so I don't expect a professional level of quality from them, but they're putting in the effort so that's really what I admire. Halfassedness and low effort is what's making a lot of these groups cringey, moreso than their actual skill levels.

This group was apparently formed by the same guy who created and managed Furi Furi and even has a former member, Renee (the black girl).

They could work on smiling a bit more, and maybe getting a larger room to dance in, but they sure did a hell of a lot better than Furi's debut.

A net idol group from 2013. The song itself... is not that bad. It's kind of like Stellure's "Bright Future" but with effort actually put into it.

The thing that always bothers me with this outfit is I never see anyone with a toned stomach wear it. Yes, it's drawn to sit below the belly button right at the hips but that doesn't look good on most people. Maki had the right idea of wearing it close to her natural waist so nothing spilled out (she was also fairly thin but I think everyone could've benefited from wearing their skirts higher up).

Watching all these videos in the thread, I'm realizing that LL's choreography is kinda... boring. Like lots of the time half of the group are doing generic moves or are standing in a pose. IM@S always has moving parts in their choreography and has certain "signature" moves that distinguish one song from another (Ai like hamburger, Kiramekirari, etc.). With all that being said LL is much simpler, so I see why its popular. Damn I wish IM@S caught on more in the west
>>
>>9444792

I honestly prefer learning im@s choreo. It's so much cleaner and you don't have to worry about interacting with others as much and having them potentially fluff it like in love live. Something as simple has holding someone's hand can become a complicated mess, but you don't have to worry about your personal space with that of idolmaster. They also cut down their maximum to 5 unless it's an all star live so the amount of collisions are reduced.
>>
>>9444308
I'm actually friends with these girls. I often joke with them about how they seem to feel no emotions.
>>
>>9444792
LL dances are really boring, from both a performing standpoint and as an audience member. There are only a few that I can say I really enjoy watching. A lot of the time they're better cut down to the SIF versions, as it's generally at the 2nd chorus the choreo gets even more static and I loose all interest.
I tend to stick to Im@s or vocaloid odorite choreo as it's much more interesting and enjoyable, especially solo.
>>
>>9445002

It's a bugger with LL getting the SIF versions of songs too. So you are either forced to watch the whole sad thing and see the dancers lose interest or have poorly edited ones.
Here in the UK there was a group who split their members into the subunits, and because they didn't have the know-how to source them then just stopped it dead. We thought the music cut out.
>>
>>9445056
Yeah it's a real bitch. I wish they were more readily available, I'd definitely enjoy them more. Maybe I should attempt to edit a few myself.
What group is that? I generally steer clear of the LL community here so don't know any of the groups. Only one I follow is Prism.

I don't see how that equates to being a Koreaboo. If speaking another language and dancing to music in another language equated to being any kind of -aboo, then lots of idols (and normal people) are in trouble. Nothing here points to "we want to be Korean".

LL WAS boring overall.
Second season was better with actually decent songs (It went from feeling like "The producers had to find someone to make idol-like songs" to "did they get real idol songwriters to make these songs?" )
But god the plot goes NOWHERE, there's zero conflict because you know instantly they're going to win love live when they get there. Best part was when leader-girl (I'm SHIT at names sorry..i legit just bingewatched it too sigh.) fell from overworking, but the rest was shit and it makes me rage.

Alright advice since I see the dance cover game has changed over the years. I'm going to try to hop back into jpop covers after doing actual dance (and doing some kpop covers) for so long.
Do you think masks are still a thing to be used? What about cinematography? I still see covers shot with one shot straight on (kpop deviates and people do cuts, set changes, extra with filters and editing). Do you think it takes away the charm?
I am also going to note to do IM@S dances instead of LL. God those are so boring.

>>9452123
LL is more like the girly fantasy of "oh yea we can start an idol club, and dance for fun and become better friends!"
im@s is more surreal about what it means to be an idol, with an actual producer-san, the work that goes into the dances in the studio, the rise and fall of singing and losing/gaining fans.
>>
>>9452228
It all just depends on what you want to do. Some use masks, most don't, some like edited dances, some prefer just one-camera dance shots. It's all about what kind of content you want to produce. The usual way is to do it in one shot and without a mask. Personally I'd leave the mask out because it eats away facial expressions, but if you don't want to show your face for some reason it should be fine too.
>>
>>9445663
are they shooped in to the pic??

And then you have wake up girls which slams you into the abyss of what it's actually like and ruins the sparkly aura people think idol life has.

If you're trying to learn to dance, this board full of overweight sheltered children is not the place. Half of them don't know what they're doing and the other half is just pretending to know what they're doing. Don't do choreo or else you're just going to be part of the cringe in this thread.

I like LL season 2 much better, because the girls got last place and actually struggled a little bit. It was also pretty gay. But the dances are rather boring and I only like one song and it was from season 1.

LL wasn't bad enough to stop watching, and as I was watching it I loved making fun of how corny it was with the ~power of friendship~.
>>
>>9444792
I actually think im@s dances are easier to learn than love live ones. They actually follow dance formations (8 beat) and have a flow. Movements make sense. Even wacky ones.

Because they're more interesting they're easier to remember as well.

Yeah, overall they're a lot harder dances but they're enjoyable. I get bored learning love live ones.
>>
>>9453053
What the actual fuck is wrong with you. You sound bitter and angry. They just wanted dance suggestions, not a lecture that basically amounted to "you're gonna suck like everyone else."

If you want an easy solo dance, Michishige Sayumi's Shabadaba Do~ and Fukuda Kanon's Watashi are super cute. Some group songs even have good dances that can become solo.
>>
>>9452123
If you didn't like LL, you probably won't like IM@S that much more. Their main audience is waifufags and while IM@S has more characters (thus more waifu tropes) it doesn't offer that much more depth if you're looking for legitimate idol drama. WUG is the best idol anime if you're looking for realism, IM@S is good if you want an optimistic look at what the idol industry could be and LL is if you want Slice of Life and Idol genre mixed, like K-on.
>>
>>9453489

>>
>>9455381

What's your opinion on the Chinese based LL cover groups? They certainly dance better than what we have seen here.
>>
>>9455731
They often have cheaper easier access to studios, content and costumes, and because the original have a bigger fanbase they're more likely to get people local to them to complete the set and/or more willing to travel.

Plus, some of these are purely "she's fat she ruins it" and thus the Asians are more aesthetically pleasing
>>
>>9455731
>>9455940
Not the same anon but I think people just like watching Asians dance to other Asian music. If you notice, "weeaboo" is nearly exclusive to those within the west and those that are white. Even when there is someone good, if they aren't Asian it comes down to "you're a weeaboo" and even if they're a decent weight and slim, compared to Asians they're considered fat. So when they are good and not a stick it's "ew you're a fat weeaboo". Granted some ARE but even those who just genuinely have an interested in the music, style, and culture are called such so there's a super thin line these days between what is and isn't a weeaboo.

Now I'm wondering if there are any Japanese "net idol groups," similar to Stellure or Flusay Girls...
>>
>>9456499
More than likely, they don't exist. In Japan they don't really have to use the internet as a means connecting with other people interested in THEIR own culture. They can really just go outside or ask their friends. The closest thing you probably could get to an actual Japanese net idol group is ClariS which started out as two girls just singing online that blew up & became famous. Plus in Japan they don't need the internet to become famous or be idols. It's Japan. If they post videos on NND they may get traction but let's be honest. If girls in Japan wanted to be idols they'd only have to go to the millions of auditions or start their own local idol group.

New album cover for Stellure sub-unit Super Nova's single to come out this Summer. Looks nice and all, but I guarantee those outfits won't look as slick and cool in real life on a bunch of awkward, untalented and uncoordinated weeaboos. Well, at least Stella is in charge of making them.

Just like "Bright Future!!" was basically, in terms of lyrics, a watered-down English rendition of μ's "Susume→Tomorrow," I imagine this song will pretty much be like Saint Snow's "Self Control!!" lyrically.
>>
>>9458857
>How to draw lace 101: just draw a loopy line!
>How to draw faces: you can only do one type of eye and one face angle? Just mirror that shit!

I hate how the lace color is different on the bust and the skirt and the arms, and the color scheme is ass. It's like "bumblebee" with random lightening and pink tossed randomly on it. There's a lightening shape design, but also hearts, but also flowers, but also stars, but also circles. It's a clusterfuck yet it still kind of looks plain.
>>
>>9458875
Agree to disagree because I actually kind of like these. Of course the drawings may come out differently than the final product but compared to Bright Future, this is a huge step up and since it's Stella making it I already expect it to be better. It doesn't seem like a clusterfuck to me (or at least not as much as Bright Future). Color scheme also looks okay and that's coming from someone who's taken graphic design and basic color theory.

Also, how do you draw simple lace trim? Care to demonstrate?
>>
>>9457404

After watching this I wanted to ask; what is everyones opinion of really obvious tattoos on idol character cosplays? Because I'm so familiar with the outfits that when I watch a video and a sizeable one turns up it pretty hard not to notice it (There's another group in Aisia has one on her leg so when they do different shots you frequently see it in all of its glory.
Does it make or break a costume for you? Would you rather the cosplayer make an attempt to cover it up? Do you think it adds to the costume?

expecting them to be logical is a big lol. Meotashi is already freaking out about how she has to 'graduate' because shes 17 or whatever. She does realize the seiyuu are in their mid-twenties right?
>>
>>9459218
Not a fair piece of evidence. First, the cosplay is a year old and the lettering and decals are a result of MEOTASHI not taking care of it. Second, I don't see how it's ill fitted. If it clung to her like the original, it'd look way worse and she'd have all that hangover you see poking out. The ill fit may also be due to poor care because in other photos of her in it (in Stella's Instagram), it's a lot better. Third, what would you have made it out of? The original use a plastic type fabric as do other higher quality versions (as opposed to some normal fabric).

>>9459266
Really? Cause I'm pretty sure it's almost a dead ringer for the original. But maybe that's just me. As far as graduating goes, if they're running it like an actual school idol type deal, she still has time. She's just dumb.

The only thing of merit in here is suggesting zumba classes. I think it's a good way to build up your endurance for dance specifically, learn some casual moves you can throw into your own choreography, and help you learn to follow someone else's choreography.

If you aren't a good dancer, THIS is an actually good place to start and the teachers are often more than happy to help slow down a move for you between songs or after the class. One near me is only $5 a class and you can drop in so it's worth it.
>>9452981

>>9456499
Only time i've seen anything cringey from japan it was done on purpose. But this is speculation.

Where did I say once it didn't exist? I said they don't HAVE to use the internet not that they don't use at all. If you want to know where I pulled the info from, use your head. First off, it's Japan. What are the odds of someone not in Japan being in a professional or local Japanaese idol group? Second, I have people who have lived there and fuckin Amina du Jean managed to get into an idol group while there. I never said it was easy as showing up. I said if girls in Japan wanted to be famous or an idol, they'd have to go the auditions that are ALWAYS going on. It's easier for them than it is for someone who's in Australia. Think please.

>tfw aidoru dreams and can dance reasonably well when practiced but have a weak voice

Since there were some recs for learning to dance in this thread, anyone have some for vocal strength? I can't afford to take vocal lessons, as much as I'd love to.
>>
>>9461673
I started doing this after I heard this is how Johnny Depp trained himself for Sweeny Todd:
Record yourself singing. All the time. Record it, listen to it, sing along with it, notice your mistakes, repeat those parts until the mistakes are gone.

Always warm up before you sing (Just singing scales is enough but maybe youtube has further vocal warm ups you can follow along with), don't sing why dehydrated. This will produce the optimal results.

And if you can't sing well, make up for it with good songs, good personality, good sound mixing, and energy.
>>
>>9461697
Also it's fine to learn to read music but honestly you'll do fine as long as you can sing by ear. If you can't match a note after hearing it, work on that first and foremost.

Sorry for double posting. I took voice training as a kid up until I finished high school and had to drop my dreams to sing professionally because my throat is too weak (Was easily susceptible to strep throat and other throat illnesses as a child because I had unusually large tonsils. Got em taken out at 16 a few weeks before auditions for a private singing group I wanted to join because my mom just wanted to get it over with. Had to re-train myself to know how to use my voice afterwards. My voice is stronger but my throat is still weak so I can't sing for prolonged periods of time.

If I can at least help others make their own singing better, that'll be enough...
>>
>>9461636
And these are white girls? That's rough.
>>
>>9461739

>>
>>9461739
>>9461759
Maybe an unpopular opinion but if you're going to make an idol group based on cosplay you should make sure everyone is as accurate as possible on the character and that includes race.

Cosplaying in general shouldn't be racially exclusive but for something like basing your whole idol group on a cosplay, at least commit to the fullest extent.
>>
>>9461700
>>9461697

i nico nico need to see that contest
>>
>>9461779
It's on their fb, you have to scroll through the video though. One of the girls actually sounded like the anime
>>
>>9461769
Not what I meant entirely but i did phrase it badly so that's on me.

If you can look as accurate as possible to the design of the character to where it's unmistakeable who you are even if someone can't, for instance, see the side Honoka's ponytail is on (the only way i can tell who the honoka is sometimes) then that should be the goal.

Like..

Look there's no nice way to say this but if you're going to do an idol group and NOT use your own songs and COSPLAY for it, then you should make it 100% accurate as possible visually, and a black kotori is going to stand out as not being accurate.

If you just, yknow, make an idol group instead of a retard faux idol cosplay group like Starlight then this problem won't even exist and you can have a rainbow of people up there without problem.

It's just something that bothers me in very specific instances like this.

There's no way of proving i'm not racist but it's not socially acceptable to say this because it is sorta racist even though it's more of me being nitpicky about what i'm viewing.

I love a well done cosplay regardless, but looking at these girls there's no way this kotori was that well done if she was rolling with them, so imo it's irrelevant anyway.

In general I think idol groups shouldn't try to base themselves on an anime like love live. Be original. Even if you want to do a specific costume from an anime, do them as yourselfs (even if you give yourself animu colored wigs at least make it something original).

Like what if you found this group by accident and liked them, but then found out there was an anime with these girls. Some might find it cool, but i think it's retarded considering they're americans and obviously had nothing to do with the anime.

Does that help explain it? It's a shitty opinion i know.
>>
>>9461798
I disagree about the skin color thing but see your point.
>>
>>9461851
Thanks, and I also won't fault you for disagreeing because I know probably very few people share my opinion, especially openly (Well as open as you can be on an anonymous message board).

As long as fellow peeps don't think i'm discriminatory since it's personal preference not an advocation for a new standard.

Anyway, are there any groups that do in general anime songs rather than just love live? We need to post some more examples and i know none
>>
>>9461535
not the worst, not the best
>>
>>9461798
that is discriminatory, can't really excuse it by saying it's you being nitpicky. according to your logic it would be totally fine for a group to turn down someone simply for being black or too dark of skin tone.
>>
>I already have formal dance training, i exercise daily so endurance won't be a problem
>and I can sing.
If i can put singing and dancing together
>write some original songs
>and shit, boom i can do it all on my own.

This terrible logic is what led to every video in this thread.
>>
>>9461535
Two of the girls have weight problems
>>
>>9462208
Except you ignore the fact where I clarify it's my personal preference for what I see and witness, not what I dictate SHOULD happen. It's only in the case of a cosplay-based group too.

There's just not many places I can say it safely and I wanted to be allowed to express my opinion even if it was only anonymously.

It's the same line of thinking as thinking fatties shouldn't be part of these groups unless they work on losing the weight (Which if you train as much as an idol should, you should drop the weight quickly, so these fattychans either barely practice or scarf down food like no tomorrow).

I think that groups with a specific look in mind should be allowed to be choosy without being labeled racist, ablest, or told to check privilege.

Let me reiterate: To me, as a viewer, it irritates me to see a group trying to mimic an anime idol group like Love Live while maintaining that they are their own idol group without being as picture perfect to the original as possible and to me, that means skintone should be similar. Let me add that because I have tan skin, this would exclude me as well from this specific instance.

But if you're making a normal idol group not based on a pre-existing form of media, mix it the fuck up, go for talent and overall beauty.

I don't care if people disagree since i'm not trying to CHANGE anything, I'm just stating my opinion on a pet peeve and one that doesn't extend to overall cosplay for me.

Idol groups aren't a free for all by nature so don't act like idol groups have to be all inclusive to everyone, that's a kind of mentality that only works in the fantasy world of tumblr. In the real world, you go for what fits the image and who has talent, and a lot of times in the music industry even in the US, looks > talent.
>>
>>9462303
it's not the same line because a fatty chan has the option of putting the effort to lose weight. Skin tone however can not be changed and is out of a person's control. anon or not, it's still a pretty shitty way of thinking.
>>
>>9462334
I acknowledge that which is again why it's my personal opinion and not something I want people to follow and agree with.

Now if you're done feeling self-righteous about telling me what I already know and have said myself about my own opinion can we move on?
>>
>>9462535
A good further point to this is cosplay is about looking close to the original material, bringing it from 2D to the real world.
I think everyone can agree that when you cosplay the aim at the end of getting ready is to think
>"I look like Nico now"
Not,
>"I look like Nico now- if she was 30 lbs heavier",
or
>"I look like Nico now - if she was heavily tanned/Black"
At the point of the last two, you are no longer cosplaying the original content but an alternate version universe of it.
>>
>>9461535

>Too much forehead on Maki
> Nozomi needs to trim her bangs
> Hanayo doesnt look like shes wearing any eye make up, and by extension those with lighter coloured hair need to go heavier with it
> Umi's bangs are way too heavy, Nico got it spot on I think
> Still lamenting that people still never try with Honoka's hair (discussed a few threads back) and just have it hanging around the face
>>

>>
>>9461659
What. Where do you even get that I'm fat? If you have anything to combat this with please tell me. Otherwise you sound like a fuckin dumbass.
>>
>>9461763
Based on this logic, only Asians can cosplay idol groups. People can't help that they're not Asian and enjoy the show/music/whatever. If you want to be specific why not just say only Japanese should? I mean if you're getting close to the original...
>>
>>9462744
desu though, the basic skin color of Japanese/ most white people is in the same ballpark,(as well as some Latino people too) they're all a pale shade of skin Color. If you look a picture of just a bunch of hands of girls who are either pale white girls or pale to tanned Asian girls, you wouldn't always be able to tell which one belongs to what race.
so the General "look" of an anime character is still able to be achieved for them quite easily.
Sure Japanese may have a more yellow undertone in their skin but a lot of white people also have that.
It's not the same thing but it's not about the "race you are" but instead more about " how you look overall"

Its like how Disneyland will never hire a black girl to be princess Jasmin, BUT white girls who aren't Arabic but look similar enough DO get hired to play her in the parks.
If you're gonna be a character and make that your "thing" then you should pick one you can actually achieve to a close enough standard UNLESS you're doing it just to dress up then go ahead and be whoever you want, but if it's for the first thing, or to get credit of it being a "good/accurate" cosplay then they'd be better off working with what they have to pick a better other character.
>>
>>9462773
>Its like how Disneyland will never hire a black girl to be princess Jasmin, BUT white girls who aren't Arabic but look similar enough DO get hired to play her in the parks.

Disney is also a paid job that is meant to be close as possible for kids to enjoy. Cosplay groups are purely for fun, no one is getting paid for this mess. They're not comparable.
>>
>>9462779

>>
>>9462779
I said at the end of that post, as far as just for fun cosplaying, I don't think anyone cares how accurate you are just to show your liking for something and just to have a good time.
The ones who open themself up to this level of critique are the ones who do try to sell merch or gain popularity by branding themselves as the real deal IRL version of insert character name here.

I've met them once and the Nico wasn't bad, just excitable. The Maki is the True bitch and their Rin isn't any better. Rin is the VA for Hanamaru in Sunshine, too. You'd think being that high-profile she wouldn't make such a shitty name for herself.

what did they said?

Who?

Project starlight's rin is megan shipman, the English va for hanamaru in the dub for love live sunshine?

They all said their character's charm point and Nico's is her pale skin. Some audience members and viewers were kind of put off because it implies anything darker than pale isn't good.

The Texas idol comm is a cess pool, I've heard a lot of things especially from friends.

She seemed extremely demanding of her group at ANT for the short time I saw them. Members were wandering and taking photos with fans but she was very snobby when she spoke to her friends. She comes across that way on her Instagram as well, at least to me after seeing her behavior in person. I found out she doesn't work and her parents pay for everything but she apparently always complains about money?

Yep, her Instagram is airicosplay

I've run into her a few times and she's always seemed to have a holier than thou vibe even when she was being nice.

Anyone know why the old Kotori left? It's odd to leave a group like that so soon after a performance imo. And looking through their older stuff, where's the original Hanayo? She hacked the account at some point so it can't have been a clean break.

The kotori posted something about personal things piling up but that's it. Seems like it was at least a cleaner break than the hanayo. Before the hanayo disappeared she posted a lot of creepy suicidal stuff.

This would be great if they didn't have such a small practice room.

the pink one is off but that's about it

I've really liked all the dance covers this group has put out! I'm a fan. I really like their outfits too.

They may not be the best looking group but they're all quite in sync and have plenty of energy. I would watch them at a con it seems like a decent time.
