I'm about to start the first taobao order I'm doing by myself, and I was wondering.
I live in Europe and a large taobao package disappearing after being shipped has happened to me before. If I pay with Paypal, will I be able to chargeback if something goes wrong with the package even months after the order? I'm pretty paranoid.

Personally, I rely less on ratings and more on price. I generally don't buy clothing for less than 120 yuan. (Not talking about accessories). Taobao is cheap yeah, but there are some thing that are just too cheap. At the same time, I have some 60 yuan skirts that turned out great so, ymmv.

I figured I'd share my findings here too. I wanted to compare ordering through Taobao directly using Taobao Cargo vs ordering through Superbuy.

Superbuy doesn't charge an actual fee, they just sort of silently fold it into your international shipping charges.

My first order I placed with Taobao Cargo, and I ordered 3.6kg of stuff, and paid 266RMB to ship to the US via EMS. Works out to ~73RMB/kg.

My second order I placed through Superbuy and I ordered a total of 1.3kg of stuff. I paid 194RMB. That works out to be ~149RMB/kg. Again, shipped to the US via EMS.

Superbuy's main advantage over ordering through Taobao Cargo is that they take inspection photos, although they're pretty shitty quality desu. I think I'll stick with ordering through Taobao in the future.

They are not the cheapest ss, but they are reliable and their customer service is pretty good.
Plus I love their cart system.
I always ask them to mark down my parcels cause Dutch customs charge a lot of fees, I don't want to rouse suspicions so I always ask them to mark it a certain amount so I only pay the lowest amount to customs on large orders.

Anon you know this would be super easy to do yourself?
You could order custom fabric with all pictures of your best girls printed on it (there's lots of sites around who do custom order printed fabrics in low batch/no minimum orders- even taobao has sellers who would do it) and then pick/match your favourite ties to hide them on the inside with.
I'm sure a tailor would do it for you too if you're not comfortable sewing it yourself but it's fairly simple to even learn to do yourself by hand if you want to be extremely careful.
Just thought I should maybe point tntat out if you haven't thought of it yet as that seems like an even better idea to me if that's what you're after.
