My soul has left this planet. I LOVE these bags so much!
>>
How are itabag meets? Have any of you went to one before? I'm debating on going to my first one this weekend
>>
>>9392755
Went to one at a con and it was super chill. In general I think most itabaggers are pretty cool and it was fun to just talk about where we got some cool stuff and point out what we liked on each others bags.
>>
>>9392709
I keep seeing these hexagon-shaped buttons everywhere and wishing I could find a place that custom made them; Even searching alibaba got me nothing.

Anyway, re-asking from last thread since I didn't get much input: For anons with the red wego heart bag, how similar/close would you say the red is to the red-orange in pic related? They seemed pretty dang close on my computer, but I'd like a second opinion.

This is probably a stupid question but I can't find the answer in any of the guides. Does anyone have a tutorial on adding the vinyl plastic and zipper to an existing bag? I keep coming across guides that mention you can "make your own bag!" but never actually explain how to attach the zipper so that the plastic can be opened.

I know I posted this in the last thread but if anyone has anything and I mean anything for the show Tsubasa Chronicles or for Syaoran, to email me or reply to this post if you got something. Pic related is the character so if anyone sees or has anything to let me know.

Also is anyone here going to the Hakuouki Cafe in April?
>>
>>9393048
That just means making a clear bag to go around another bag. It's pretty hard to make a zipper front but it's not impossible. I guess you could look up something on how to make a zipped lunch bag and pick apart that concept.
>>
>>9393057
I'd love to go but can't. I don't suppose if anyone knows if it will have exclusive merch? And if there is might be willing to pick up stuff for people who can't make it?

I was thinking of adding CCS Syaoran in my bag once I actually have it but I don't know if it will look really messy or off looking even though Tsubasa Syaoran and CCS Syaoran are kinda the same person(?) I don't want my bag to look ugly random but if I don't find anything, it might happen.

There are knockoffs unfortunately and look a tiny bit different from my official one, but they're still a good option since most older TRC merch is butt ugly. I'm making a TRC bag too once I find a base that I like!
>>
>>9392783
Bumpin my own question because I'd really like some input on this.
>>
>>9393845
I don't have it in red myself, but judging from pics I've seen it should be alright. Maybe a contrasting color on the inside would be good as well so that the merch doesn't blend in too much.

I saw these earlier and was tempted to buy them. In your opinion, how different do they look from the official one you have?

Very similar. I have one official one and then grabbed these to finish my set, and really the only difference is that the official one is a tiny bit thicker, is a very very slightly different shade of blue, and has the logo stamped on the back.

Does anyone feel like they are actually paying less for being part of the group order than they would have by just doing their own SS order?
>>
>>9394965
It depends on how many people in the order and what's being ordered. I like to group order when it's heavy stuff all around because it's cheaper for everyone that way. If you're all getting light items might as well just order for yourself.
>>
>>9394965
It depends. I found it cheaper to join the UtaPri shinning store group order then doing it on my own. Like I got the tote bag for about 90$ on my own and for the backpack it was around 70$.

But otherwise, I don't usually find it worth it.
>>
>>9394965
I generally find group orders are more expensive after the double shipping - when I'm joining one what I'm really paying for is the convenience of making dealing with it someone else's problem.

Accidentally posted this in the old one. Whoops.

My eBay ita backpack arrived from Japan!

It's honestly smaller than I expected but that's on me because I just looked at the model stock images and not the size information. It's really nice for $21 though and the clear case is crease/wrinkle free.

The zipper is a bit weird where it starts half-way up the bag on the left side then zips all the way around the top to the bottom right side. So it's like a 3/4 backpack zipper. I'll take photos of that when I star to organize the bag.

Right now I just tossed half my collection onto it to show the space. I'm definitely going to need a separate tote bag for my Lunatic merch because I won't even be able to fit all my Kotetsu and Barnaby stuff in this backpack.
>>
Mother of jaysus that's a beautiful bag.
>>
This is like a itabag horror story. It cost $30 to ship $12 worth of badges.

Speaking of rare merch, can someone ID this? I'm pretty sure it's official, but it's not listed in MFC.

Like I mentioned last thread I'm looking two buy two badges of him, so if it turns out I can't get another copy of this I'd just buy another model.
>>

This. Best boy in YWPD.
>>
>>9395520
MFC tends to fall short a lot on archiving merch that aren't figures. I wouldn't use it as a be all end all resource for official merch. From what I can see of the packaging it looks like it has a logo sticker on the packaging, the same as the one next to it of which you can see the copyright print on it. I'd say you're pretty safe for it being official.

Anyone a fan of Lupin? I was thinking of starting a bag of Jigen but was looking for some inspiration
>>
>>9397345
My fan merch bag has been significantly more difficult to cultivate than my official merch bag - for the offical bag I think I had about three or four bulk orders of stuff imported from Japan. For my fan merch bag I am constantly scouring the internet and putting in dozens of separate orders, making sure to meet preorder deadlines, asking other people where they got charms, tracking down artists and asking them if they have a spare left even if it's not on their store anymore.... not to mention that most of the time, my fan merch has been more expensive. Five to ten ¥500 items plus international shipping still comes out to less per item than what I pay for item + shipping on fan merch (usually about $15 total per item, or about $10 for buttons).

So I don't think it's accurate to say that fan merch is more easily obtained than official merch as a blanket rule. Maybe for some properties that's true, but it's always going to come down to the fandom and the character.
>>
>>9397427
No pics here, but I have plans for the exact same thing (mixed character Deresute bag). It's not as hardcore as single character bags, but nobody should have an issue with it, if that's what you're worried about.
>>
>>9397673
Seconding this.
I personally find fanmerch much harder to get+more expensive than official merch, considering my fav series have loads of merch available. Anon above is on point, I've gotten a crapton of official stuff for ¥100-¥500 a piece, all from the same store which is great shipping wise, while all the fanmade charms I've really wanted so far would all run me for 15$ at the least a piece from each artist.
One of my favorite characters is grossly underappreciated (even if from a popular series) and his (scarse) official merch goes for very cheap second hand (just doesn't pop up frequently for my dismay), while fanmade charms of him would cost me about 20$ each (US shipping costs more than the charm itself, jfc). I wish I could shell that much for fanmerch but unfortunately, I'll have to just keep on playing waiting games and hoping my boy's merch pops second hand.
>>
>>9397673
Hm, yeah, you have a point. I was thinking more of local fanmerch. Picking up charms at a con is usually cheaper than having to proxy/forward official merch for me, even despite the fact that Western fanmerch tend to be priced higher. Another point with fanmerch is that you tend to be able to buy single units, while with official merch, you tend to have to buy sets (which often include characters you're not making an itabag out of, and then you have to go to the trouble of set splitting) or blind boxes (which is also a money sink).
>>
>>9397673
I totally feel you on this. The thing I hate most is artists selling smaller charms (under 2") for $10 or more, especially if they don't have epoxy or double boarding to protect the art.
>>
>>9398081
> $30 dollars on two single sided charms not including the shipping five minutes ago
>>
If I bought a few of the Wego heart bags and sold them for the store price/SS fees/shipping would anyone here be interested? I am thinking of buying one but it seems like a waste to just buy one thing. I have all the merch I need for the moment to fill the bag four times over too.
>>
Anyone got any advice on how to pin the board with all the charms close to the front panel wlth the heart window in a F21 bag? My boyfriend got one of those and I've been trying to help him build his first bag.
>>
Anyone got experience with printable shrinky dink ? I commissionned a chibi version of my husbando to make straps/pins with but I've never used that stuff before.
>>
>>9398425
What sort of advice are you looking for? There's a couple of good tutorials for it.

When I did some shrinky dink charms a few years ago I had some problems with them breaking. That seemed to be the main issue with them, so maybe be careful with how you place the hole?
>>
>>9398454
I'll keep that in mind, thanks ! I was mostly worried about the shrinking rate, it looks like different brands shrink more or less. Which one did you use ?
>>
>>9395866
I really want to put together a Charlie itabag now.
>>
>>9397673
Seconding this too! Maybe buying fan merch is easy for those who live in the US since domestic shipping is cheaper and they can also go and pick up their orders at cons. But for people who don't live in North America is a real hassle and very expensive. International shipping costs from the US are crazy and, depending on your country, you have to add customs fees on top of that. I'm working on a Mystic Messenger bag and I have no choice but to buy fan merch. I avoid doing the math when it comes to totals.

like fair enough if there wasn't a lot or it wasn't readily available but there's heap loads of it out there, especially for the lead two characters, itabags are about supporting the official release too, not just your buddies down in AA

that's because the heart bag is for merch featuring both of them. I'm waiting on all my preorders of the official merch featuring them both. I have a separate bag for individual merch. No need to assume I only buy fan merch.
>>
What's with all this elitism about fan art vs official lately, it's such a tired topic and when it comes to aesthetics everyone has a different idea of how they want their bag to look, that you should honestly just can it if that's all you have to add to the discussion.

>it's a Danny DeV-ita bag
>>
>>9399280
I spy a salty asshole.

Itabags are about showing your love and devotion through merchandise. Fan merch =/= bootlegs, there is no reason to shit on someone because they love supporting local or indie artists who create the kind of merchandise they are looking for, especially for a property as successful as Yuri on Ice, which is certainly not hurting for profits.

Don't be rude just because the bag doesn't align to the way that you enjoy showcasing your love. This hobby is so much fun because itabagging is such a personal artistic preference that it breeds really cool and fun variety. I love seeing these differences, and I hate seeing it discouraged by judgemental people like you.

I believe that I used the shrinky dink brand inkjet paper.

I don't remember the exact shrinking ratio, but I think if you needed to be exact, I'd just cut out a 1 inch x 1 inch square and use the baking setup that you'll be using for your real charms to measure the final product. It seemed to me like it was about 50% smaller, but I think the exacts are going to vary a little (especially dependent on brand).
>>
>>9399270
Wow, great job! May I ask how did you stick the stones there so they don't fall or something?
>>
>>9399392
Thanks! They're hot-fix rhinestones! So I just used a hot-fix tool to apply them.

I was a master at Shrinky Dinks as a teen. For scaling I marked a 6" ruler on the plastic, shrank that bitch, and then had a little ruler to tell me exactly how big I needed to start to get the right final size.

Tip for not breaking charms: they are awesome on things like earrings and necklaces where they won't get a lot of wear and tear. Never make a keychain. I think in an itabag they should be pretty safe.
>>
>>9399938
Whenever I used shrinky dinks they would warp and look horizontally squished but I couldn't find anything online about it. Is there any way to prevent that?
>>
>>9399994
I just looked up some reviews that say the same thing (it looks like this is a recent problem within the last year). Someone suggested just scaling the images like 77% in the problem direction, but it seems like the most solid advice is to just find another brand.
>>
>>9399994
I find most people report this is the either a) cooked on too high a heat overtaking it or b) underbaked it it. Like I cook mine in my craft toaster oven so I have to adjust the temp and time to get things looking right. Try rebaking curled shrinkdinks after they've filled cooled to see if that can fix the issue.

I'm glad others are playing around with handmade charms, too! Here's a comparison between the original size (roughly 4 inches/10 cm) and the final product of Grafix shrink film.

I'm having issues with color mainly. The charm here was printed with the lightest opacity of the batch (60%ish) and while my camera is shit and makes it look super dark, it's actually a lot more vibrant IRL. But still darker than the original art's palette. I'll have to do another test run playing with opacity before I make my perfect charm.

Oops, didn't realize the file would end up so big.

Double sleeve them. Just get the normal size sleeves for them then get a slightly bigger sleeves like mtg sized and put it in there. So for a bag, it should stay very sturdy if you do double sleeve them.

My advice will be outdated and possibly not very helpful but I figured I'd tell you what I know as someone who spent my whole last visit there hunting down JoJo merch.

There were at least a couple things in most anime shops I went to, but the most was to be found in secondhand shops, Mandarake and such. Most of the regular Animate etc. were fairly barren of recent merch. but this was before part 4 started airing, so now I'd expect them to still have the more recent DIU items that were released. I noticed Village Vanguard stores had a unique selection. I'm sure it was in your plans anyway but highly recommend Nakano Broadway for unusual older items.

Not aware of any events or cafes going on at the moment but there may be merch from last month's Great Festival floating around secondhand by now.

Get two squares big enough to sandwich the cartridge in the middle, iron around the edges to encase it and punch holes on the excess so you can sew it onto the tote.
Hopefully this makes sense

hey guys, does anyone have a link to where i can buy this little black itapouch... i thought i'd bookmarked it.
>>
>>9406221
You ok with Amazon Japan links? I bought some there the first time around and I could go back and find them.
>>
>>9403866
That's adorable!! I'll be sure to peek into any bike shops I come across just in case then haha, thanks!

>>9404077
Yeah, I have otome road on my list, just unsure if I'll have the time to stop by because my visit is tight and theres loads of places I wanna go. Here's to hoping

>>9404145
That is super helpful anon, thanks a ton! Hopefully I'll find stuff, considering I'm particularly looking for a part 4 character. Nakano Broadway is definitely on my list, just hoping I'll find the time to stop by and take a bit of time to navigate through.

Also another question for those in Japan/who've been and have tried their luck with lotteries... How exactly do they work? I randomly came across a link for Minna no Kuji's website through a YowaPeda page but I can't read a thing and am just trying to figure what I can through the garbage google translator. There's a bunch of lottery items listed and several store locations but I'm a total noob in this and was hoping someone could shed some light on the subject..
Also planning on stopping by Namja Town for some YOI but as far as i understood you have to play games to win items other than the postcards and such that you get with food purchases. Do you just walk in the cafe area or is it reservation only like Animate? Is these sort of places somewhat non-japanese speaking friendly? I wanted to try my luck but i figure it's probably very hard if the employees have no clue what I want.
Thanks in advance and sorry for messy english!
>>
>>9406415
Lotteries/Kujis: You go to the store that is selling them and tell the cashier that you want to buy x amount of tickets to draw in (series) lottery. (Or some shops have the have a box with the tickets with the poster for the lottery and you can just grab those and pay for them.) They open the ticket and it says the letter prize you get. All the "lower tier prizes" like keychains/badges/etc prizes are generally blind boxes btw.

I went to Namja Town for the Show by Rock event last year; I assume it's the same concept for YOI. There's no reservation/anything needed like that; the food/dessert is separate from the event area. The event area is usually somewhere in the middle; it's not too hard to find. The garapon is simple, definitely do that if you want prizes. You just buy the # of tickets you want to spin the wheel for and you get the prize based on the color of the ball that comes out.

Not sure what YOI's mini-game is though, but the staff at Namja Town/J-World are very accommodating! I'm sure they'll be able to understand if you gesture/point at the thing you want to do. Just a heads up that specific games might be hard for staff to explain in English. The physical games are easier to do (i.e. relays), but some games that have puzzles/scavenger hunts/etc. require you to read Japanese, you should probably pass on those ones. The staff will usually check if you can speak/read Japanese first before you buy the ticket to play the games, otherwise I would imagine it'd be a lot of frustration/wasted money lol. Hope that helps!

I know the itabag threads talks about curved pins a fair for pinning stuff down, and I wanted to ask if there's a specific brand or type I should look for? I know there's taobao shops but would curved pins for quilting work too?

Standard curved pins for sewing or quilting would be fine! I buy mine from the sewing section of Walmart. I actually picked them up once on a whim and then afterwards have never looked back.

As long as they have a curve in them, it doesn't really matter where you bought them or what brand they are.
>>
>>9406597
Those are what I bought and they work fine.
>>
>>9406603
What's the benefit of a curved safety pin vs regular safety pin? Just curious from an outsider POV of itabagging, and I like looking at some of the pictures here.
>>
>>9406611
Much easier to poke through blindly from the inside kind of like sewing with a curved needle. And doesn't need to pinch in the fabric to hold things tight so a little less warping and damage.

Curved pins have a divit to pin through and hold the jump ring loop. On a straight pin, it bunches up the fabric. So it looks nicer, and its easier to pin into place without fenangling with the fabric.

>being this fucking buttmad over a simple correction

ANYWAY, on-topic: I know we've had a few people who've made their own base bags before, but has anyone done a custom window shape? I want to do one for the bag I'm planning, but I'm worried about fucking it up and having the vinyl come out all uneven and stuff instead of laying flat and uniform. I have sewing experience, I've looked up tips for working with vinyl, but I've never done an insert like this before. Does anyone have any advice?
>>
>>9407346
If I remember correctly, someone here or in the FB group was making a tote bag with a double heart window for a Boku no Hero Academia bah
>>
>>9407360
Yeah, I remembered that. I asked about it and she basically cut out the window shape and glued it on to the vinyl with e6600 or some other hardcore glue.
I thought about trying that for a bit, but decided against it. She used pleather for it, which you can cut and not need to hem, plus it's probably easier to glue. I want to use canvas or something similar for my bag, and it probably wouldn't work as well.
>>
>>9407376
Yeah, canvas would fray and most likely change color from the glue
>>
>>9401440
Why tho?
>>
Anyone know of any decoration ideas that aren't really girly besides rosettes? I want to decorate my bag but I don't like wearing anything girly (bows, anything super sparkly, etc)

>>
>>9407656
I've seen some really cute bags that used motifs that related to the character, like crosses, guro/horror type items, patches/pins if their character belonged to an organization etc. I'm sure you can find decorations that suit your tastes anon.
>>
>>9407656
>why are you here if you don't like girly stuff
I'm with ya there anon, I'm mostly here because I like all the crafty and con/cosplay stuff. That, and none of the things I'm making a bag for really suit girly decorations.

As for other suggestions, stars in your character's color(s) are simple and unisex. There's also the option of using text if there are any phrases or such that are relevant. I remember seeing a DIO bag with a big 'Wrrrrrrryyyy' across it once. THe only limit is your imagination on this stuff

Hey, that's my bag! Pic related, it's been updated a little but the WRYY is staying forever. I'm glad the idea was memorable!

Seconding the idea for stars, they're nice and unisex. Also spikes and studs if you have a sort of "metal" aesthetic? (Murderface anon comes to mind!)

>>9408750
Thank you so much! The letters are actually scrapbooking accents I had laying around! They're cardboard and self adhesive and have stayed well, but I have tacked down one Y that got busted using sticky tac (I also used sticky tac to keep the shadow Dio coaster in place in the middle). I would think you could use self adhesive craft foam letters and motifs too! I'd be careful about any sticky residue, though. I'm not planning to move the letters personally so I didn't really care.

Sorry for the word vomit!

Rando question, but is it just me or has there been an influx of scalping post in the sales group? Like they're ridiculously over priced even if you do included proxy fees and shipping

I agree, even though I have bough from sales groups a couple times when I didn't have a Japanese order going, a lot of those seller's pricer are laughable.

Yeah I noticed that too. Like there's certain items I don't mind paying more for (Like I preordered some doujin charms that I don't mind paying like 10 dollars each for) but there's certain items that are way too expensive. Like the love live cleaner cloth for fucking 20 dollars is ridiculous. And I check a lot of the box orders that get posted, and I don't get how you can get away with 12+ dollars per charm

>>
>>9409659
Yeah I totally get what you mean. I'm fine with dishing out more for event only items or kuji prizes but $9 for a 300 yen strap??

The only time I can thingkof when a charm pushes more than $10 is if shipping is already included
>>
>>9409442
I thought I was just tripping and was hoping someone was gonna point this out. I think the thing that frustrates me the most is the constant bumping because no one wants to buy the con-tiered price tag. Like chill out, stop trying to shove your thread into everyone's faces because no one wants your overpriced charm when someone else could be selling that same charm for two thirds of the price three posts down.

It's so annoying to see the same repeated questions over and over again like in>>9409691 which just clogs up the actual group discussions.
>>
To anyone attempting to sew stuff into their bags as opposed to using a bunch of safety pins, don't. This is the most difficult and tedious thing I've done, especially with figures. It's near impossible to hold something in place (especially in a backpack) in order to sew it in and I had to ragequit after doing three pieces and I'm sure they're still kind of lopsided.

I mean it all looks great without all those little pin bits sticking out but this is definitely a challenge and I'm glad I've got two months to finish this because it'll take that long to sew down everything, rip some threads, and then resew until I'm happy.

>>9410865
I'm sorry to say you can't. It's better to just make an album from your own personal page and sharing it to the sales page.
>>
>>9410872
Not necessarily, but depending on how you do it, it can develop into a manufactured process, which really takes the love/itai out of it.
For example, deciding you want to make an itabag for character #31, so you know you need to buy 15 keychains and 10 omanjuu and 20 buttons, etc. and arranging them in a similar fashion with little extra detail or design.
I haven't seen all of her bags to notice a pattern if she's doing this, though. She could very well put a different spin on every single bag.
>>
>>9410872
I think it only applies when those 30+ different bags are of 30+ different characters. After all you can only put so many creative spins on a bag without having to reuse an idea or using an idea from an inspo.

However if it was 30+ bags of a single character/OTP/series, then that's what I considered the devotion we all aspire to have kek.

>>9411205
Aw man, this just makes my more excited to try them out. I've been wanting to after I did the math and figured out buying small batches from YJA would be cheaper than zenmarket's 300y-per item.

Also, not exactly bag related, but >tfw you want to buy a novel you can't fucking read just because it's got a rad illustration you've never seen before with your husbando looking more badass than usual

Why do I always drop my pics when Getter 1's in them.
>>
>>9411279
Idk about call them out, but maybe bring it to the attention to one of the admins?

I reported the post because I really don't feel like their "feedback" is proper feedback.
>>
>>9411342
Hey guys! It's been a little hectic trying to clean the group and ask everyone for proper feedback, but this person definitely set off our alarm a little. We kind of had to wrestle out some form of confirmation that they weren't a scammer, and we received proof that they've had successful transactions with members of the group that at least two of us mods have bought successfully from as well. I still don't really trust anyone with that weird profile name but they haven't scammed anyone as far as we know. They're just a bootleg HK seller.

Now, if y'all would like them to put that the merch is unofficial in their post, we will ask that of them! If they don't comply, we will delete. I personally have a big problem with unofficial items but people always buy bootleg merch any way they can, it's a personal choice (that I don't approve of at all for YOI but again, that's me).

Sorry for all the trouble and delay! Thank y'all for being patient with us as we try to clean up!
>>
>>9411376
Thanks for looking out for that ! It's just my opinion but yeah, I think they should mention that this is bootleg merch
>>
>>9411376
Thank you for cleaning up the group! While I don't personally care that they're selling bootlegs, it would be nice if they mention it in their post so that other are aware of it.
>>
>>9411383
Of course! I'll talk to them and if they don't want to put it in, we'll just delete the post. I feel like there's a slight communication barrier between us and them (like the communication you get between a Chinese ebay or aliexpress seller) but they've been cooperating so far!
>>
> no, I don't know they artist because I'm ordering from my supplier
> based in China

just go ahead and say you're selling knock offs at best or god forbid, ripping off some artist.
>>
>>9406567
Sorry for the late reply! This was super informative, I think I got the gist of lotteries now and feel much more at ease about stopping by Namja. Thank you so so much!!
>>

For real. That annoyed me too.

Thirding them mentioning they're bootlegs here. Especially since they're $10 a piece, which is just highway robbery in my opinion.

Speaking of prices, have any of youg guys gotten nice deals on any of your bag stuff? When I ordered my backing fabric from Joanns they sent me a coupon for $20 off on Shutterfly, so I decided to put it to use for more itabag stuff. Sadly it was $20 before shipping and tax, and their cheapest shipping option came out to _$12_ for two luggage tags and a magnet, but it was still a pretty nice deal.

Is there any store that can make a clear vinyl cover bag for an existing tote bag base?

I'm not finding any for my size of my bag and many of the links in the FAQ are dead.
>>

What size is your bag?

Any experiences you could tell about using your itabags in Japan?
Have you gotten comments on it, what are japanese people's views/reactions on it outside big city centers, have you used it as your everyday bag during your trip, did you wear it only at places like Akiba, etc. I'd love to hear your stories!

This one's on ebay, and there's a few more that will fit that size if you search 'clear tote bags'.

LOVE that DIO bag... I love that little button with his tiddies on it. you can't have a DIO bag without his- i mean jonathan's- melons on it.

One of my friends made an Itabag with the various Iggy cosplay rubber keychains sewn into the clear pocket! He said he was also planning on making a Splatoon one too because he adores the game haha

The only Itabags I've seen so far were his and a couple of nice folks' ones at the "Anime On Stage" store booth at AB last year of TouRabu characters (Munechika and Kogitsunemaru).

Once I rack up some cash with a future job I totally wanna get on the Itabag bandwagon and buyfag a bunch of shit for them~

Maybe one for Diego Brando and Iwatooshi.

I ah... also thought of making Itabags for Leon/Krauser from Resident Evil and one for a Disney character I love a whole bunch.

Would the Disney one be "weird" or considered "furry"? The Disney character in question I want to make an Itabag of is Figment the dragon from EPCOT. He's been around since '82 with a shit ton of merch made of him.
>>
>>9412641
A Figment bag would be so cute! I don't think it be weird at all. I feel like it be well received among Disney fans. I've noticed Figment fans are really dedicated. I just made a Tsum Tsum bag for my trip this weekend, but now I'm tempted to make a Haunted Mansion or Oswald the Lucky Rabbit bag since I already have so much merch.

I also really like the Leon/Krauser bag idea. Its nice to see video game or Disney bags since I don't see that many.
>>
>>9412641
I'm planning on doing a Sitich bag at some point, once I figure out a good bag to show all the tsum tsums in.
>>
>>9412641
Dio anon here, thank you for the kind words! I had to stop and say you have excellent taste. I have an Iwatooshi bag too, it's so rare to see people making bags of him!

A Resident Evil bag though, I would love to see that! I'm not sure if anyone is still active, but there were a lot of people on deviantart back during RE4's relevance that made charms and stuff.

Also kudos on Diego for an idea, I really want to make a SBR bag someday! Dinosaur charms and stuff... adorable on a Diego bag.

Does anyone have zakkamart's fake leather bag and could do a quick review? How good is the material? I'm guessing you slide in the felt material into a separate pocket? Any cons?
>>
>>9397546
Yes! I'm just working on a Zenigata itabag and have been hoarding stuff of him for a while. I'll be sure to post some pics here when I get my basebag in the mail! Just fyi, I don't know about Jigen, but I've got all my Zenigata merch from surugaya and his merch was so cheap! I'm talking 300¥ a plushie. So I would definitely recommend checking surugaya out

They just posted earlier today about going to a "local shopping center" and are taking requests on what to pick up for buyers without clarifying that the items are (most likely) bootleg, is this a problem/violating any rules?
>>
>>9413923
Also concerned about this.
>>
>>9413923
Seconding this. They might not be making it intentional, but alarms keep ringing in my head every time I see them.
>>
>>9413923
OK, for a minute I thought you were talking about the other person who was doing it and I was super confused.

But yeah, this chick didn't even specifiy prices or how they wanted to be paid, and didn't put up a feedback link. Considering they just came in to the main group a couple days ago and asked how much people spent before making these posts doesn't help the scammy air either. I'd personally like it if she was talked to/given a fucking warning. And if she is scamming and doesn't clean up her act I'd personally ban her from the sales group (if that's a thing you can do).
>>
>>9413923
I don't think there is a shopping center like that in Hong Kong. But I will ask one of my friend who lives there when They wake up.
>>
>>9414211
I actually do think it's because the other person started the shopping service and the "scammer" saw they could make money off something like this and jumped right in.

>Considering they just came in to the main group a couple days ago and asked how much people spent before making these posts doesn't help the scammy air either.
Oh shit I totally forgot about that
>>
So what happened to the scammer? It looks like all their posts were deleted from the group.
>>
>>9414321
According to the group description they got banned. I do think they edited their first YOI post, but they probably put up the second post because like >>9414243 said, they probably thought they could make a quick buck and traction was going down on the YOI post
>>
>>9414321
We took care of it! Thank y'all for letting us know the general opinion on them. I gave them at least 3 chances and had PM'd them about rule violation and got ignored I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The selling of bootleg official merch is horrible to me, and bootleg fan merch is even more upsetting. We'll post about our strict intolerance of making profit off official art replicas or fanart replicas later on today or tomorrow.

Thank you again everyone!
>>
>>9414321
Mods might have stepped in, or they figured it was too much trouble/people were catching on and deleted them themselves. I remember they deleted a reply they made in the regular group before too.

>>9411155
This looks like a solid start anon! Have you considered bringing in other Toriyama works as well?

Also, we're at bump limit and on page 8, I think a new thread is in order.

Hey, glad to see you loving that doll, theres a side seam to the left or right of that bunny, you can open it up to shove more fiberfill to make the ears stiffer to keep them standing up that or add some stiff card board to the center.
