I heard the con was bad, but I wanted to take a vacation sometime this year. Does the location at least make up for it? (Can I get cool cosplay photos taken outside?)

I mean, it's fucking Niagara Falls. There's pretty nature shit but you're gonna be surrounded by tourists. Also to be honest, it's a pretty shitty place (at least the American side).

I'm just sitting here wondering which one of Western NY's finest is gonna be the guest of honor this year.

the location is pretty OK, and if nothing else, you can cross the border or just go to some other stuff in the Buffalo area to make up for some of it. good if you like to eat.

on the con aspect, no clue of the quality. didn't go last year, heard the venue itself was large but due to the lack of people, it looked pretty damn empty.

anyway, the american side has japanese gardens and stuff thats good photoshoot stuff.

Canadian side has the Japanese gardens and better photography.
