These are my absolute favorite but I always feel horrible wearing them because I am scared the soles will get dirty or I will get a hole. Wearing burando legwear is just super nerve wracking in general, since all of my normie tights rip after 2-3 wears.

here's the thing with clothes - they are GOING to get dirty. clothes' purpose is to be worn, if you sit being afraid you're going to get something dirty, it defeats the purpose.

especially things like socks, the soles turn brown in like an hour of wear, and i have so many brand socks with toe holes in them (I have long toes) - but these are imperfections no one else is gonna see unless I take my shoes off and shove my feet in someone's face.

sock glue is real, but they don't withstand pressure all that well. My OTKs don't stay up even with sock glue, and I'm a bare 163cm tall. I think they were originally invented to keep the loose scrunchy socks up, not hold up socks that are too short.

Haenuli tights are too long on me, you could give them a try.

I'm not plussize but trying on brand tights made me disgusted with my thick calves

Agree 100%. Whenever I get holes in my tights I just mend them, I don't wear sandals so nobody's gonna know. Also most things are not that rare and I could just buy another pair if I really wanted to.

Yeah I'm sorry the ivory came out a bit light. I went with the background color my printer suggested but I'll have to try a darker shade for future off white tights. Ivory is a really difficult color to print as it can easily end up with a weird pink or green tinge.

I've dyed several pairs of tights off white and I use diluted coffee rather than tea. I've found that tea has a more pink/red tint then coffee which is more brown/yellow which matches my off white pieces better.

Okay info about future availability of the mushroom tights go! So I have a few pairs of the different colorways and sizes right now. They are set aside to sell at Omnia Vanitas. If any of them don't sell then I'll make the available on my website.

I'm currently (well it's a bit stalled on my side because of Omnia Vanitas) working on hamstring it the details to have clothing made in a factory. The first piece I'm playing on doing is the mushroom jsk. When that is released in also going to re-release the matching tights to order.

Really it world be nice to be able to offer them all the time but I need to order quite a lot of pairs to make it worth my while.

I have a pair of her tights, white with crowns and I love them. I dyed mine ivory with coffee to match my clothes better. They are really thick, strong, and soft. I got a s/m pair and it fits really well. I'm slender but rather tall. I don't know if it will help but I can post worn photos.

Idk what sock glue you've been using, but the glue I've used has survived me getting drunk, passing out and not having budged one but when I wake up. 12+ hours, would probably survive ground zero of a nuclear bomb. my skin would be blown away but my thigh highs would still be powering through. one bottle has lasted me 5 years, it changed my life basically.

Seconding "it stays!" I have to wear medical grade compression stockings in thigh high and they keep them up really well. Never had any damage from it and it washes off easy with water. I'm allergic to a lot of adhesives and have no reaction from it either.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ordered tights from R-Series? If so, how well do the hold up to stretching/tall wearers? My heart is set on a pair but I'm about 175 cm and have some pretty thick legs from my diving/basketball days. I'd really rather not pay EMS shipping if they're not going to fit anyway.

Pls no bully but I love using lace sock toppers as garters to hold my socks up. They keep my OTKs from rolling at the top and sliding down. I don't think they deserve the hate they get. I mean, I do when it comes to "sexy" ones, but as a functional garment(?) I think they're great.

Also, is it just me, or are baby's OTKs particularly hole prone? None of my other socks get holes in the toes like the btssb ones. What's the deal?

I have trouble believing any sock glue is strong enough to to hold up socks that are actually too short. Seems like you'd need end up ripping your skin out with the constant pressure the sock exerts from wanting to stay short, if the glue does indeed hold like super glue.

Would love to hear from tall anons if sock glue does help them wear socks that are too short, though.

I like the legging/yoga pants trend when it first started because girls were pairing it with the longer shirts, and it looked cute.

Now, it's went so far as girls wearing leggings/yoga pants like actual pants with a plain t-shirt or sweater. I understand the aspect of trying to be 'sexy' by having your whole ass on display, but I can't get into it. The shorter top, often not form-fitting, with the super tight legging just makes most people look goofy.

Although some 70 degree days hit so now I've been seeing everyone's junk due to ill-fitting denim short shorts and micro skirts. I still prefer that over the leggings/yoga pants.

Long-legged Lolita need to do themselves a favor: stop with the sock glue/tap or anything else and just get themselves a set of garters. You can get them nude tone if you need and it is easier to put on, take off, and the clean-up isn't so nasty.

How do you wash your tights? Because I can keep even target trash alive for eons with the right handwashing. Tips:

>Avoid hot water like the plague
>Use gentile formulated detergent or baby shampoo
>Don't be abrasive, just work the soap through softly
>Air dry
>Wash your tights immediately when you take it off so stains don't set in

If you're still afraid, thin nude socks under them should mitigate any other risks. Also, cut your damn toenails properly lol.

I can't speak for everyone but it's honestly a laziness/comfort thing for me. Leggings and yoga pants are just so comfy that I stop giving a shit about how it looks. I try to wear longer shirts and sweaters with them, but sometimes I'm out of longer tops and I still want the comfy pants.
