Britfags Who's your favourite UK cosplayer

Yank here (specifically, US Airfag). Been living in the UK for 3 years now. Been to a handful of cons. I have yet to see a good cosplay....

Hyper Japan has a few good cosplayers, MCM is alright just too busy

I mean I am from the states, where I drive an hour and twenty minutes one direction to work each day. The UK is small to me, even though I live less than an hour from London (which is suprisingly uneventful). Everything is "local", in a sense.

Am I missing something here? Because if I am just not privy to the "good' cons, let me know. And yes, I have attended Alcon, and it was shit.

Mcm and hj has good costumes, but it's usually too crowded to appreciate them. Amecon it good for cosplays. Kitacon used to be, but now it's a partycon a lot of people who used to attend it don't bother bringing their good costumes

I class Amecon and Aya about the same, they both had their strengths and weaknesses. I like Kitacon, but I don't like getting shitfaced so i feel I'm missing out on some of the event.

I liked Kitacon before Scowny left. DJ Lastknight et co at just... Useless really. They focus only on the parties, so the con aspect is really lacking.

There was one Kita where they completely fluffed the evening and a bunch of events wee cancelled (quizzes and the like). I was just sat in my hotel room with my friend just wondering what the heck to do? We don't really party or get drunk, so there was very little options. I don't feel as though they've fixed that problem of having something for everybody.

I'm also hating their streak of shitty accom arrangements.
