Pretty much. I'm used to Otakon size so most cons here bore me. There's just really not much to do and cosplays are usually eh. I'd probably deal with it if I had more people to hang with but, as it is, I can't justify spending the money for a Saturday since there's no way I'd stay a full weekend

Just moved here from South Florida so I don't know if a con can get worst than Broder-fest in Miami.

I'm debating going on Saturday... Haven't decided yet and probably won't make my final decision until Friday night lol. Too many exams this week to worry about it atm. If there's a meetup I'll definitely stop by. My main cosplays are in a bit of disrepair atm, so I'd probably just throw a casual lolita coord together.

It depends, there are like 10 cosplayers in the entire NC scene that are any good. Coming from up north it's a bit of a shock but doesn't surprise me. If you do good work you will be noticed.

Just a group of large and obnoxious people with closet cosplays of rugrats characters. They had sippy cups with who knows what was inside it and we're pretty loud constantly. One of them knocked a stuff bear out of another's hand and it almost hit me. Tommy was just some skinny bald guy wearing a t-shirt and a very large diaper. Didn't get a picture of them but maybe one will turn up on social media soon.

The only decent cosplays I saw were the two Pokémon sun and moon trainers running around, the princess tiana, and the better looking Elsa. The hotel sucked. You didn't really need a badge for anything except panels. And the immediate area was not prepared for what was coming. It was mostly middle schoolers it seemed.
