I said "not particularly fat" and not "not fat at all". It's just that when somebody talks about grossly fat or so fat that your hair gets greasy from being fat, I picture somebody who's so severely overweight that they can't properly wash themselves anymore. She could and should clearly lose some 40-50 pounds, but I don't think her weight is what caused her greasy hair. Different people have different standards for 'not that fat'. Everyone looks better within their normal weight range and usually any fashion looks best in the low end of a normal weight range. I'm not saying fat people shouldn't wear lolita (I actually think they SHOULD, but work on their weight) but it's never going to look as good as it could on people if they remain fat. So 'lose weight' is a valid part of a critique just like anything else that keeps the person from looking their best.

I know it is a volatile topic/unpopular opinion to SAY this (though I know many people think it) and most people will never suggest someone 'lose weight' off anon but if you are overweight, losing the excess is often one of the best things you can do to improve your entire look (and it's free).

It actually looks like the bow is only holding half her hair, there's strands that's just tucked behind her ear, but it's sticking really closely to her head. So pretty much, she either has really thin hair, or it really is straight up greasy. The grease might not even be fat or unwashed hair, it looks like this girl just has no idea how to style herself, like, at. all. For those looking for gothy shoes, Metamorphose still makes hooker platforms, they have boots up at the moment but they did shoes last summer.

You can also find Moitie and other brands secondhand on Wunderwelt, CC, etc, even if you cannot buy Moitie shoes online.

Pic is Miho Matsuda shoes, up on closet child at the moment. I haven't seen Sheglit produce shoes yet, but BPN used to, so you can look for BPN shoes secondhand as well.

AatP sometimes produces shoes that suit the gothic lolita aesthetic as well, though they seem to be on a sweet bender at the moment.

Also not counting the occassional non lolita brands such as Vivienne Westwood's original rhs, or their collab with Melissa shoes.
