I cosplay Abbacchio and open chest bind with medical grade tape. My boobs aren't huge but they're big enough to be a bit of a hassle to bind.
It's not very comfortable and I don't advise wearing it for a long period of time but it does the trick.

Bruno anon from the previous thread, I did what >>9328000 mentioned, I wore a binder and then an airbrushed shirt to look like a bare chest (with Bruno's tattoo) over top. Only way I could tackle it cause I have too much boob to open chest bind.

I just finished my kakyoin cosplay and there are two issues with it, its a bit small and its really hot.
Its not so small i can't wear it but i cant do any really extreme poses, does anyone have any recs for some that would still look good? also its so hot im not sure how im gonna be able to wear the jacket all day, do you think that if I took it off at some point I would still look recognizable and not super lazy

As someone who's made mista's hat and is about to make 2 more. His hat is a pain in the ass, and requires a bunch of hand sewing (for the way I went about it anyways)

The base pattern is really pretty simple, all the stripes are elastic handsewn on to get the placement correct. If you have a mista figure it's a great reference for placement.

Really it just takes a lot of time and patience.

As someone who's made several pantshoes, (connected and not) make them seperate you'll really thank yourself. Just make shoe covers and leave the covers long so they're like socks you wear under the pants. It looks seamless enough with the natural folds of the fabric.

Any advice for getting these applique's right? I used foam sheets before and taped bobby bins to the other sides. These wore very easily over the day and when bent continued to look weird. Is there any other easy material to work into an Anchor and a Compass?

Did you paint the foam or use vinyl sheets over them? Not for Gappy, but I used foam + vinyl sheet overlay for the horseshoe on my Johnny cap and it stayed consistent even after being stored away. If you have a lot of time, you could also try embroidering your own patches for them, or see if you can order custom patches online.

I'm currently working on BTD Rohan, finished the base of his pants yesterday. I'd say it takes a lot of fitting desu and they're gonna wrinkle in a lot of places (I'm using one way stretch twill). It's a big heckle to do but the end result turned out decent enough, though I wish it could be a bit tighter fitting by the ankles but my base shoes don't allow for that. Can post a pic of my pattern if you want it? Just to give you an idea of how to go about it.

Is that you? I like the way you did the hat with the hair but you can definitely improve. I'd say that the first step you should take is to drop the face lines: I've only seen them done well once and that was a face covered in makeup and generally not something everyone is capable of doing (another anon might be able to post it, unfortunately I'm dumb and didn't save it). Stick with contouring instead, you may have to practice it first but when it's done well it looks a lot better than straight up lines on your face.
In my opinion, with some work you'll make a great Jotaro.

I need to remake the whole costume
The girlfriend did put a lot of makeup on me but this was our first time trying it for JJBA. I don't have any real HD pictures cause the person who took them wants to edit all of them before hand...

Eyebrows look good but yeah calm down with the face lines next time. Also, is there any way to redo your chest piece? The pecs are way too small compared to the abs. They should be around twice their current size while the abs should be smaller and closer together. It's a very interesting idea though and a good way to attempt to look like a tank at such a low body weight!

As stated prior, I wish to redo the whole outfit...We winged the shirt a couple days prior to the con. Foam and glue and hope.

The outfit as a whole (at least the top half) looks pretty good for the amount of time you had. Even if on short notice, that chest piece is very good compared to many of the foam ones I've seen in the past. I hope you post some progress pics or the final product because I'd definitely like to see the improvements you make!
