I think it would've looked a lot better without the fake blood or the white dog purse. Given the theme and dark colors, certainly an actual wolf-themed bag exists in the world, or she could've made a simple bag with the fake fur to match.

If you were paying for nothing but the fabric you'd receive it as a bolt, not an fully formed dress.

If you were to commission an 'exclusive' lolita-esque costume, like a ballgown or magical girl outfit, and wanted it to be clothing quality i.e. wearable and washable for years on end without it being significantly damaged, it would absolutely end up costing at least twice as much as the average lolita dress. There recently was a discussion about replicas in my comm's facebook group and one girl mentioned she used to own a replica that even used the exact same lace as the original dress. So I guess there are some you just really don't notice or can only notice if you have the original right next to them.
Personally, I don't really see the point because there's a lot of decent second hand deals for brands as well as sales, lucky packs etc. and then there's always the option to just look out for decent indie/Taobao stuff.
