Actually I stopped watching once there was the 3rd episode in a row about 'cake porn' By god, it's 'wet and messy', be an adult. There's a lot worse things then frosting people throw on their downstairs in that genre of porn.

And no, it's because Cyril comes across as a complete bimbo and her, the angry chick, the manager, and the dude all have zero self awareness and 100% self-importance. I couldn't stand Ashy-chan when I watched S1E1 but she and Audra seem to be the only ones who have her head on straight despite having "cringey" interests.

Reminder that "reality" shows are scripted and staged as fuck. There was this one videogame-making show that got canned before airing a couple years ago. Stories flooded out of production staff actively manufacturing cattiness and drama. See also cooking shows with intentional equipment failures.

A friend and I always get together and cast a couple episodes to my tv. This. Her lines were obviously written out, but she didn't have to really try hard to act as if she wouldn't say half the shit to someone. She's lied about having friends, costumes, connections and thinks that she's a professional at nearly everything.

That being said, she fits the whole cesspool here considering that Audra's fake af, Ashphord only looks like she's been using this and any other MyxTV show she can land on to get her big break into showbiz, and everyone else is pretty much sad tropes and stereotypes. Reality tv is bad, but this is way bottom tier.

It would have been way better of a show had it featured an actual decent indie lolita brand showing her business, coming up with her ideas, and making dresses, and then if they wanted, script soem model drama. But the way that this whole show is portrayed, it just makes Cyril look like an absolute drip and too passive of a boss who goes between trying to do every facet of the job herself despite hiring people, or go around acting like a pimp to these models.

To extremely fair, she's a decent seamstress but terrible designer with a poor aesthetic, and I don't even know how they could conceive this show about it being about the models when they're rarely paid and most are routinely scouted before the con nowadays.

Really? I found Ashphord super annoying. Stephenie can be a little bit annoying sometimes but I thought she was the most relateable in terms of the things she said. I felt like her salty comments kinda reminded me of just how me and my friends bullshit about things in our comm or things we see online.

Anyways I haven't caught up with all the most recent episodes (I think I'm only 3 eps into the new season) but my friends and I watched this together thinking it would be super cringy. Which there definitely are cringy parts but we surprisingly warmed up to it and found it kinda enjoyable. Did this happen to anyone else? I think maybe it's just cause it's essentially cgl: the tv show to me and I'm amused by all the lolita drama that has been made into a show I can watch.

Except the only thing I don't understand is how Cyril is able to keep up with all this financially? No one in the lolita community buys her dresses, and she seems to have a following but a very small one under the "dollie" guise. I'm guessing no one buys her dresses and that's why they're all hideously expensive for the poor design (to make up for the lack of sales when she finally does make one)
