actually, even easier than attacking your bones, you may just be able to get your cheeks worked on. cheek apple implants or other fillers by your jaw line would be minimal procedures but still transformative, while working with your current structure.
your face is pretty cute anon. your chin makes you look different but not at all ugly. only get surgery if you feel like you need it to be happy.

Are you new? Oldschool is more than just a substyle, it refers specifically to the look that was popular from the late 90s to mid 00s. If elements didn't exist in lolita back then, they're not oldschool, even though they can be oldschool-inspired. There's no need for oldschool to "evolve" or survive because it is supposed to be a time capsule of coords from this period.

You might be thinking of what Japanese brands and Misako have called "traditional lolita style", which involves solid pieces with white lace, but often features newer styles of shoes, bags, hairstyling, make-up and accessories that weren't available back then.

Do you pluck your brows? I used to have the same issue - very fine and light natural brows that had a decent shape left natural, but looked weird when filled in because they hadn't been shaped. If you shape your brows they will look better filled in. Also try using taupe eyeshadow or something instead of an eyebrow pencil.

to clarify, I'm not her and this is only my 2nd contribution to this argument. i needed to chime in because I feel like a nice coord is being torn apart for a dumb reason. I'm a fan of antique dolls and I'm used to seeing some of them styled in this way (long lacy sleeves and frilly ankle socks).

It has to do with the balance of the coord. Coords with long sleeves and ankle socks tend to look too top heavy and it also doesn't make a lot of sense temperature-wise. (Like wearing opaque tights and going blouseless) I think the white part of the sleeves in this coord lighten the top a little up so it's not that bad. If you picture the coord with full length wine velvet sleeves it would look even less balanced. I've seen way worse examples of that combination desu

My suggestion is to do away with the big round glasses and play up your eye makeup to draw attention away from your jawline. The glasses are really weighing your face. I found that some contouring helps soften my jawline.
