Hello gulls,
I've been in a slump with my Lolita accessories sales as of late and I need help/advice. What kind of accessories do YOU want to purchase/see more of online and at conventions. What do Lolita/kawaii accessory shops lack of that you wish they had? I wish to no share my shop here but any help is appreciated.

So basically you want people to give you ideas so you can make money off them?

I'm loving those cute resin hearts that I see sellers post with kawaii stickers. They make good accessories. Of course, if you're willing to go through the messy process of dealing with resin.

You want us to do your work for you without even telling us who we work for..?

Authentic brand accessories and cheap, none of this 80% markup nonsense, people know how to use the internet to buy stuff.

Make actually sturdy / good-quality stuff. I keep having stuff fall apart on me and the seller is like; "Well, it lasted a month!"
Good quality simple classic headbows and other versatile head accessories. My hands might as well be in backwards and I don't always feel like paying brand prices + shipping from Japan + customs charges for a simple bow. The ones I am currently finding on Taobao and Etsy are either badly made or tacky or both.

Name and shame, anon!

A print headbow usually goes with a print dress. Some of the brand shops have a notice they might cancel your order if you only buy/reserve the accessories and not the original dress.

I don't care for print headbows, personally. I'm talking more about solid red or navy or what have you.

That's usually what lucky bags and winter sales are for. You can get some very cheap accessories in their season clearances. If you want even cheaper and custom made then just make some yourself. It's not that hard to do, like making a paper present decoration.

OP has absolutely no obligation to share any information as to who they work for. Sage for your salty ass comment and mine for failing to contribute to thread.

Definitely not hard to do...
i second more shops making basic headbows

Said basic headbows without a print or anything fancy. Then you post a star print bow with lace. For the record you could still work up to something like that, but I personally find the design ghastly. You just need to find printed fabric and make a regular bow with the lace sewn on.

Multiple resin charm key chains.
Less SWEET pieces, more classical, resin flowers, gold, etc. I like Shy Lapin's shit for this specifically.
Ornate classic.
Great feedback, thanks. I would agree that there is a need for classic or simpler pieces as opposed to the overwhelmingly sweet accessories that's saturated the market out their for handmade Lolita/kawaii accessories.
>sweet accessories in black and in lavender, two common yet overlooked colors
>some cross vomit to match my new AP
>some goddamn simple bows with nice lace
Solid headbows that will match print dresses, but can be used for a more casual coord. i.e. I can throw on my Romantic Rose Letter JSK with a simple mint bow and go out the door. Finding true red, not wine or burgundy, seems almost impossible.
