Last con i went to was Holiday Matsuri 2015 but that was only for the AP tea party. Besides that I haven't been to a con since MetroCon 2011. I'm more into my lolita comm's meetups and message boards/social media. When I used to go to cons my favorite thing to do was walk around the dealers hall, watch improv shows/karaoke, and laugh with my friends.

None since I moved- the area’s a dead zone. The only con I went to regularly was Colossal. Trying to go to ACEN next year but it’s not set in stone.

I’m reclusive and elusive. I stick with friends, do (close knit) parties, wander the halls, but I don’t really do stuff like panels or dances, and definitely not the masq. I’m kinda just there to dress up and chill with like-minded company, lol.

I play Overwatch, some MMORPGs. All casually- raiding was making me more dead inside than I already am.

So far I've been attending cons within the DFW area due to ease of access. ANT was my first time staying at a con for the weekend and I ended up really enjoying the socialization scene. Really want to try and do that masq. party for Akon, raves are too fast and hip for my legs. Panels and AA are always good.

Im new to texas so ive only been to animefest so far, but next year I wanna do anime matsuri and san japan! I like interactive panels and buying stupid things I dont need. I agree with you about the discord chat. The mod there is a major control freak and it suffocates the atmosphere. Your description of it is sorta true, I don't think anyone is silenced but there's not much conversation going besides those regulars. I feel like all the channel splits really divides the conversation and ruins how natural conversation can get. My favorite kinds of prints are ones with paintings on them. One of my dream dresses is JetJ's Garden of Earthly Delights dress. I know it's pretty fuck ugly for Lolita, but I love that painting so much.

Brands: Angelic Pretty. BtSSB is good too. I like a more elegant sort of sweet and enjoy a lot with solid colors only. Well there are a lot of prints I like but it depends, I like jewel tones more than pastels. I'm a sucker for teddy bear prints though, AP British Bear in red is one I'd like to own.
