Neat! To answer the question, on /pol/ if I get called out for something I see it more so as a joke and don't get too butt hurt because that's just the culture of the board. Also, threads get deleted so fast that even if I did get offended or anything, I wouldn't have to look at it again after an hour or so. On /cgl/, there's just something different about getting called out by (presumably) other girls. The way we do it is so catty and unfunny that it just kind of resonates inside of you. Threads move slower too so if it's a thread I'm actually enjoying and I get snarked at, I usually leave the thread and hope a new thread gets started eventually.

Multiple people have said it's not good and someone even spelled out their issues with the garment. Instead of making a mess, maybe start handling this with some grace. A fair amount of people on this board sew/craft/draft patterns themselves, so these aren't always empty insults.

If you want some very simple concrit, change the fabric type and pattern at the very least. It's too busy and I couldn't even see the sewn heart on the garment until another anon pointed it out. The construction looks sound but the fabric/pattern is what's bothering me as well as the graham bow.

night now? $30-$40, ESPECIALLY with that less than mediocre pattern handling. if she learned how to make better skirts (gathered looks best for a slimmer fitting bodice) and better fitting bodices and sleeves, then up to $50-65. if she eventually adds more details (and cohesive well made ones) and better fabric as well as a more complex dress design, then *maybe* $75.

only way is to practice. if she's gonna sell them, selling them at a reasonable price for their current design and sewing skill is fine, but the price she is selling them right now is almost three times as much as she should be selling for. if japanese fabric (that looks really tacky) is expensive, she should work with cheaper materials for a loooong time until she has enough skill to buy japanese fabric AND send dresses worth $125. i reccomend she study up on textile design more, as well as fabric materials not only for their pattern, but what properties they have so the things she makes look better and fit better.
