this was the first series that they put for reservation for larger sizes. total coincidence.
if they got 200 or more orders for xl and 1x, then they would not only release the series in those sizes, but promised to keep those as regular sizes for future designs.
unfortunately, they didn't reach the desired number in the 2 weeks of the res, so they decided to cancel the extra sizes.
Everyone cried, because that was a heartbreaking tease. The brand later changed their mind and gave more time, so every plus-sized lolita threw their money at Haenuli.

THAT is why there were more large-sized Phantom OPs and JSKs. It's hard to find brand-quality, beautiful prints and cuts that fit larger sizes without full-shirring (Chantilly and TF always employ full shirring).

If you look at everything before Phantom, like the various stained glass series, little prince, and beauty and the beast etc, they were comparable to IW sizing.
