Having a dream dress and complaining that it's expensive when the price listed is competitive. You're lucky to even find it in this condition for this price. I get that you might not be able to afford it but then maybe set your sights within your budget.

I think if it's really a super desired dream piece though, might as well buy it and get it altered if you know you really love it and want to wear it. CDC OP is too short-waisted for me and I don't see a way it could be altered to look ok on me because of the detailing. So some of my potential dream dresses just get left behind because of things like that...like mostly every hime style OP. Earlier this year in March I used Tokyo Pirates' urgent service for my dream dress in Closet Child Yokohama, and Jamie was an actual angel. She replied to my initial request in 30 min, called the store to ensure it was still there, placed a same day reservation on it (only allowed in Yokohama location, not Central Tokyo), and went there that evening. She was extremely communicative and honest throughout the whole process and even talked kindly about personal topics I had briefly mentioned, what a sweetheart. This was right before Tokyo Pirates became Accio Tokyo, so I'm not sure if the process/policies are the same now, but this was my experience and it couldn't be more lovely.
