Please try to ignore/do not respond to obvious bait (like "that" one anon that is reposting bad coords for drama and calls everyone fat).
And LF's designer is already working on the last part of the fall/winter collection after the 3rd one was released today, let's hope there won't be more wonky anime catgirls.
Already out of stock wtf
>>9208680
Seriously? Fuck. Do they usually restock?
>>9208688
No, you're fucked and you deserve it.
>>9207787
That picture is this one, actually. It's already released.
moschino has a pill themed collection atm if you have a lot of dosh burning a hole in your pocket
TOM added free shipping to the Listen Flavor tee with the bandaged bunny, the pill cupcake as well as the poison bottle tee still have free shipping too.
>>9208680
>already
That's been out for weeks, anon, it's almost Halloween, and it's spooky af. That shouldn't be a surprise.
Is it bad that I'm starting to dislike Halloween because
>people like gurokawa for a month
>anything remotely creepy and cute sells out so quick
>does this person really like this kind of style or is it just because of October
I guess the best part is they're going to try to start to sale all this stuff after Halloween but still.
I've always loved things that follow this style and now I know it has a name. Thank you /cgl/
>>9209760
Glad we could help!
>>9209742
No anon, dont hate it because of that.
I love halloween themed stuff and I would 100% feel comfortable wearing a halloween-esque coord any time of year really. October just produces a lot more items and give us an excuse to go bonkers for this stuff.
Embrace the spoop and try not to let fake bitches get to you
>>9208680
I'm dying laughing. I'm laughing so hard. I realize it isn't actually 'pointy', but all I think of is KKK gone pastel.
And I accidentally replied to >>9208680 in that last post because I was honestly seeing if it was in stock on Listen Flavor's site then got distracted by the hoodies and forgot to remove it.
>>9209798
Oh boy staying away from that Klan hood since I'm white

capped lmao
My carpet is crap. The sweaters are a little damp still from the wash so the color is a tidbit off.
My shirt from LF will be here tomorrow according to the tracking. Hooray! Unfortunately the armwarmers are still somewhere between here and Flushing, NY.
Anon, I'm getting those pleated skirts together. The pictures I took earlier of the pleated skirts are crap, taking new ones.
>>9210555
Both skirts have a zipper and button closure, no stretch whatsoever. I'm not the greatest photographer.
Top skirt is the 34(XXXXL). I apparently don't know my hip size. I'll take it in just a tad bit and iron it this weekend. The length is great. The brand on the hang tag is 'Hug Sunshine'. The skirt had no stray threads. The color isn't my favorite shade of pink. It's very 'warm' if that makes sense. The material is thinner but is perfectly opaque. Nothing see through.
For 14.99, I have zero complaints.
Bottom skirt is 26(M). This skirt is some off-brand misspelling of 'Arizona Apparel'. The skirt had considerable stray threads. The material of this skirt is surprisingly thick which is nice. It's a tennis skirt, not a 'schoolgirl' skirt so the pleats are considerably different. Still really cute. The color is also preferable. You can see a glimpse of the top skirt in comparison to it. The pink is lighter.
25.99 Returned it for sizing reasons

>>9210981
No problem! There is an insane amount of detail on the art of the CC sweaters that are not visible in the pictures. You will be pleased.
>>9210992
My grammer is terrible today, is not visible in the pictures*
>>9210936
Where did you purchase the two tutu skirts anon?
>>9211185
I got them off amazon. I actually took a picture of them backwards. They have a ribbon on the front.
Oh, my packages came in. I got the arm warmers too. I was very happy to see the handdrawn art on the envelope. I thought I'd share it with you all!
>>9211403
I love when sellers do things like that. It makes me feel like I'm getting a present and not just some thing I ordered off the internet.
What sort of shoes do people wear with menhera? Does anyone think demonia would work with black/red colourways?
>>9209798
Atleast it isn't pointy when someone is wearing it? Still, bad design choice.
https://jillpunk.world.taobao.com
This seller has a lot of stuff that would work for menhera and gurokawa, they were in the cgl spreadsheet
What kind of skirts work best for menhera? I'm going to assume pleated right?
>>9211980
You must be an idiot.
>>9211980
Kys faggot
>>9211980
Pleated skirts, tutus, etc.
>>9212024
You also could try adding bloomers to under your skirt for some extra poof to your skirt, if it works for lolita it should work for everything else too.
>>9212024
Any type of tutu skirt, petticoat, or pleated skirt will work very well. No need for a 'poofy' pleated skirt unless you prefer the underskirt. However, I also have two bodycon skirts that reach mid-thigh. One is black, the other has a hipbone pattern. I am particular to the latter on windy days.
I also have a pair of really short black shorts that I wear underneath oversized t-shirts. If you feel iffy donning just a t-shirt, wear a pair of short shorts under it!
>>9211393
I love what that shop has for sale.
>>9212118
I'd much prefer wearing a long dress shirt (I'm 4'9) but when it comes to regular shirts I'll stick with pleated skirts or pettis. It might just be because all I have are cherrycheezy shirts and in my opinion they're kind of boxy? Hopefully my Listen Flavor stuff that's coming in will be different.
>>9212139
The only shirts I can wear as a dress are cut specifically for such a purpose.
The standard unisex shirts are boxy. I've got a 36 inch chest... so I always liked the fit of a plain unisex shirt.
The shirt I ordered came in and it's WAY bigger than I expected it to be. I'm very happy with it, but I was surprised it is so large. It's LF brand.
>>9212168
Oh no I hope my LF stuff doesn't come in and I look like I'm swimming in it. I know a lot of menhera is suppose to be comfy but I don't want it to look like a blanket.
>>9212204
The shirt I bought is meant more as a dress. It's the shirt pictured.
I was actually stoked because I was for sure I'd end up having to wear a skirt with it. It turns out I don't.
>>9212204
Blanket kei, the new trend of 2016
>>9212215
Blanket kei: Japanese people are are starting to wear blankets around harajuku. It's possible they are homeless but to me they sure are kawaii.

I'd say anything goes except pumps, stilettos, and obvious stripper heels. Pleaser owns several brands including Demonia. I agree you would find something that worked.
I see a lot of platform boots, cute platform sandals, creepers, and even old fashion sneakers. The platform is normally flat. You got a lot of options.
>>9212354
I think I just fell in love who is this?
>>9212839
I found another picture of this outfit. Use the reverse image search. If you got chrome, you can just right click the image and you'll see the option.
I've also seen this print posted on and off in the threads. This girl has other pictures of her wearing the outfit. (She's doing a nose bleed thing in them, though.) It's lolita, but it is still guro.

I think it is cruddy the artist herself gets all the blame.
There's two other people highly responsible for the current dilemma. Far more responsible than the artist.

>>9214011
That's pretty cool. I'm still going to save my money and wait for the viscera sweater to be back in stock. That is pretty cool though.
>>9214048

>>9214111
They usually restock as long as the season it was made for is still going on.
>>9214111
They said these designs will eventually be restocked. If you managed to purchase your size this run, you would have received a pin with the artwork. I would have got the scaredy cat one, but it's a hoodie... it'll look like a potato sack on me.
Confession: I actually love the LF catgirl shirt.
Seems like we missed their announcement back when it came out but they ship international now.

Hey, does anyone know if opening a case on etsy hurts a seller? I don't want the seller to get in trouble but on the other hand, it's been 5 days since I messaged them and haven't received a response. I really wasn't planning on waiting a month for these shirts and it's been 20 days at this point... mostly worried because the seller hasn't contacted...
When is the Menhera-chan translator(s) going to update? It's been three years.
>>9214990
The Japanese hardcopies are out of stock. I doubt the series will ever get a true English publication. I wish it would.
For now we have about 4 chapters.
>>9214998
So, the creator isn't making it as a webcomic anymore? Shame.
Wonder if anyone put up scans in nip.
>>9215009
I think it's still a webcomic.
I think the creator just came out with a hard copy in two volumes. Had I caught it in stock, I would have ordered it even though I couldn't read it. It was only 12.00 a book.
Claire's Japan got quite a lot of bondage stuff recently and more buttons.
>>9215292
Man imagine the outrage here if they even tried to sell that stuff outside of the Japanese stores.
>>9215296
This shit wouldn't even get away being sold in Hot Topic in the US. Maybe somewhere like Spencer's where they sell literal sex toys.
>>9215296
Clair's and Hot Topic use to sell stuff of that nature. This was years ago in the early/mid 2000's.
>>9215302
Can only speak for the EU Claire's but they do have the leather chokers with bells and bows over here.
Pic semi unreleated, from the Claire's JP IG.
Saw this shirt and thought it was actually pretty cute.
>>9215321
They always sold the big bondage Tripp pants, but back in the day they even sold Lip Service.
Now they focus on music and pop culture merchandise. AA bought them, I believe.
>>9215321
>>9215297
H&M just got a bondage choker collection recently worldwide, so much for that. 50 Shades of Faggottery increased the demand for bondage fashion according to a friend who works there.
>>9215332
Now if only they offered it in pink or white...
>>9215314

These are so badly made and so tackily advertised. Such wonky shapes that they probably have fingerprints on them too.
>babus first fimo tier
>"suicide pills"
>>9215941
I suppose you are right. The only shirt I've ever seen draw ire here is that Cradle of Filth shirt with the masturbating nun.
There's actually a man who put up Christmas lights that say, '666, Praise Satan...' all this shit about the devil. It's huge and on the side of the highway. Despite the largely Christian population, nobody has taken it down. It's been up there for 5 years or so.
I might get the deer hoodie if I ever have the excess cash.
>>9216067
>Suicide Drugs

While y'all are arguing about omacat, I just found the perfect pair of wings I've been looking for...
Why can't they make something like this in the states? Everytime I find wings they are either super tiny or crappy plush wings.

>>9214280
I love this so much. It just reminds of Goregrind. If you check out the band Jig-Ai, their logos, t-shirts and all that have guro artwork... It's just missing the "kawaii" aspect. There are other bands too that use the hentai/guro imagery but they're mostly heavily influenced by Jig-Ai.
That said I don't really see myself wearing that type of stuff out except for concerts...
>>9216219
When Gaia Online was at the highest of it's popularity everyone and their om made those after the ones of their merch shop were sold out all the time, it's probably the lack of demand.
>>9216253

>>9215296
Never saw any weird goth couples with the girlfriend on a leash in highschool? I thought they all had one.
>>9215493
Being "ok" isn't enough for Menhera-chan considering that characters like Sabukaru speak in an old-as-fuck variant of formal japanese plus the artist's handwritting doesn't help it either.
>>9215292
I feel like Claire's jp has a different audience from Claire's here in the US. I think here it's mainly preteens and there it's teenagers and young adults
>>9216528
So are you guys fans of a comic you can't even read all of? I'd feel weird about buying a menhera chan shirt without having finished the series...
>>9216322
Zombie unicorn jewelry on etsy
>>9216559
It isn't that sophisticated.
Shirt or socks anons?
It's a hard choice...
>>9216599
I would say shirt because there always be new releases for hosiery.
>>9216551
It's just trends. The market is the same, but what the people are interested in is different.
Right now the American stores mostly cater to club kids with bright neon colors, hippies with bohemian tribal motifs, and the normal kids with normal pink/sparkly delicate items.
Alternative gothic/darker fashion isn't exactly trending right now in America.
>>9216619
Nothing special, just a successful kickstarter and a game needing ages to get finished.
>>9216595
So? Wearing something on a shirt like that usually means you enjoy whatever it is enough to buy their merch. How can you enjoy something you've apparently only got 3 or 4 chapters of? And it doesn't look like you'll be getting more anytime soon...
>>9216649
It's not really about the subject matter of the comic itself, but the aesthetic it presents. The contrast between disturbing images and the cutesy, pastel style of illustration is very pleasing to those of us who enjoy menhera-kei. The fashion does not depend on the comic's plot or really its characters, but the way it looks.
>>9214103
Link?
>>9216649
I think anon meant that the story is so simple that you can understand it even without translations. Menhera-chan doesn't have many chapters to begin with because the artist focuses on merch releases, he took a one 15 month break between the latest chapter and consider Menhera-chan just started in 2014.
P.S.: The whole first volumne is translated, not "only" few chapters.
>>9216649
The same way I enjoyed my Dearest Devil Princess and Butterfly. These two titles are some of my favorite books I'll never sell... Unfortunately, they'll never exist in a translated publication past the first couple volumes.
You can support an artist and enjoy their work without seeing every piece and comic.
>>9216690
It's a upcoming release of http://www.lily-maison.com/
>>9216681
This is also true. The artist puts a lot into marketing his character and aesthetic as a fashion style, not just comic-related fan merch. My item I bought off the shop doesn't even relate to the comic.
>>9216608
These are facts. Shirt is is. I'll post the last little bit of my haul when it comes in. Got 4 shirts, the imported items, and some hair accessories to post later in the week.
Then I'm officially done shopping until Christmas. Maybe earlier if I can pick up an extra job part time this holiday season. Thinking next haul will just be an infinite number of socks and accessories.
>>9216702
I don't know what those are, but it sounds like you can read them?
If so, that's not the same as what I'm talking about.

>>9216742

Here.
>>9216740
And I was wrong. It's 6 chapters, not 4. Other anon is right.
>>9216773
Pigtails are not flattering on fat faces. She would look better without them.
>>9216788
Not the same anon but those that wear that hairstyle usually have a hime cut as pigtails alone shift the focus to the face. The hair strands obscure the face shape (pic related).
>>9216812
Thanks for the tip!
Hey, menhera-chan translator here, I heard there were complaints and thought I'd come clear things up.
I haven't stopped translating, the fact is I've had pretty awful health issues recently (ironically) which is why I haven't been translating. I'm hoping to get them sorted soon so within the next week or two id like to get started on the next few chapters. On the plus side, the next chapter is a longer one than usual so it'll make up for the gap.
Sorry about that, and thanks for your patience.
TOM just sent a newsletter that they will have a sale on all halloween themed items which includes all the recent Listen Flavor stuff.
>>9217411
If it helps to know CDjapan offers a cheaper price on Listen Flavor then TOM.
For example, the 65.99 heart chocolate collar cutsew on TOM is only 56.77 on CDjapan. Not only is the base yen price cheaper because CDjapan doesn't use the resell price, but CDjapan uses the exchange rate so you can take advantage of that...
It isn't a huge savings but on my last item, I save 10 bucks which made up for the shipping. Those of you ordering bunches could save a lot of money.
Just got my first ever subscription box in, the doki doki crate, and it came with a couple of really nice things. a little syringe pen and a cute little plush that kind of fits too. i doubt ill ever use either for much but i though some of you might be interested

Really interested in the bag.
so I saw some mention of cultural appropriation discourse on my dash this morning and went into the tag and it's literally just one edgy otherkin blogger who has a two page "byf" including "don't follow me if you're kin with these characters"?
does it even count as discourse if it's one blogger? I was fully expecting actual debate to have led a few blogs to change to "medical fashion" not one peak tumblr user throwing a tantrum in the tags
>>9220215
>does it even count as discourse if it's one blogger?
No but people are pretty tired of the exact same subject popping up at the tag all few months.
>>9220215
It's people who feel they can speak for every person out there with mental illness. They were offended/disturbed... but also feel every other person in the world with a mental illness shares the same offense toward the matter.
And cultural appropriation topics are often silly.
Unless I can turn around and say that the Japanese are appropriating my culture with the band Balzac, because the Misfits are American, and punk as a whole has roots in the U.K. with unhappiness related to London's state after WWII.
But that sounds really stupid to say, doesn't it.
>>9219069
It reminds me of
>I don't even notice when it hurts anymore.
>>9220370
People who talk about such bullshit don't even care that they sound stupid. I wish they did, but they don't. They want attention, period.
>blue jeans are a sacred part of American culture
>no one but Americans can wear blue jeans
>if you're yellow and you wear blue jeans you're racist
Hopefully I'll be making some holographic shirts soon. Going to do a test run in the next couple months. I don't know if people will dig my art, but we'll see. I'm going to make a sample shirt first before making a ton.
>>9220370
Except rock music began in the US, dumbass. If you're going to use an example like that, at least make it a good one.
>>9220551
I'm not talking about rock.
I'm talking about the punk movement with the squatters who camped out in buildings in the poorer parts of town that were destroyed during the blitzkrieg...
The buildings that the London government never cared to rebuild or fix until long after the war.
And if you knew what Balzac was, you would realize why they were compared to the Misfits.

>Except rock music began in the US
I really don't think so buddy...

Well, rock and roll as a genre is from America. It's the merger of African rhythm and blues with country music such as Appalachian folk.
They are right that rock and roll originated in the Southeastern United States.
I was speaking about a different movement, not rock and roll.

IG?
Concrit please, this is my first menhera coord and I just sort of threw this on to get an idea of how I looked.
I feel like I should get red suede creepers to match the sweater (which I just recieved today. But I also think black suede would go with a lot more. I also feel the need to get hair accessories to go with it (particularly red).
Also now that I see these together I'm also kind of bummed I didn't also get the red bandaged tights from CherryCheezy but that'll be in my next order hopefully.
I'm also looking into getting a bandage like choker. I feel like that'll look infinitely better than the tattoo choker I have.
I also feel like I should find a more macabre phone case too....
>>9220593
Instagram, they do have one > https://www.instagram.com/clairesjapan/
Do any of you wear menhera to school or work?
I want to wear my coords to uni but I'm a bit nervous that people will think I'm a freak...
>>9220596
I think you look adorable. The grey and white socks definitely match.
I have a big chunky red spiked collar and syringe I wear to bring red into the mix. I either wear the sweater with my silver pettiskirt or a black pleated skirt.
Oh man, I've never had a phone case. I just got a ugly phone.
>>9220596
I think you could make the black creepers match better if you would get red shoelace plus you could get shoelaces for other colors too in case you want to try other black combinations.
>>9220600
they will think you are a freak and rightfully so, making mental illness a fetish is disgusting and you should be ashamed
>>9220600
I wear my clothes everyday to campus.
The nursing students adore it. I wear my clothing out on errands, grocery shopping and such. I wear them sitting around the house goofing off.
My old salon would have totally allowed it, but usually I wear pretty professional stuff to work. Black dress pants, heels, and a nice top. I bring my work clothes with me if I need to change in town.
>>9220600
The only comments I got on it so far was people asking where I buy my clothes. I guess people are used to that kind of stuff as alt band tees have similar motifs, minus the cute part.
>>9220573
>rock music didn't start in the US
are
are you missing like half of your brain
or??
>>9220604
Yeah, it's just a simple dog collar. Got one in pink as well.
I picked up the the (L) which is a 14-17 inch neck and a 1 inch band width. It fits chunky and slightly loose which I like, but many might find the (M) 12-14 inch with a 0.8 inch band is a better fit.
If you don't mind the shipping wait, Aliexpress has adorable collars for cheap, less than 4 dollars. They got all colors and even ones with pink and red spikes.
Ezaki is releasing some phone cases next month, I am not sure what kind they will be tho judging by the art.

And more buttons.
The last part of LF's fall/winter collection was announced for friday.
And that's all for now... I'll try searching for some simply guro and horror related stuff and post it later if I find anything.
My current search is running dry. All I'm finding at this point is the stuff I don't approve of.
>>9220600
Anon, it's clothing. It doesn't have to be a reflection of who are; it doesn't even have to be a reflection of your superficial likes and dislikes. If you enjoy it, if you wear it well, it'll be pleasing for others and yourself to look at, no matter the subject matter.
Goodnight world.
>>9220886
And it's out, not much interesting besides that they want to try out the "China Kei" fad with the coat.
This should be easy to DIY.
>>9221275
I still don't know how to feel about low crotch pants..
>>9220608
Yeah, when I wear my stuff out I just get lots of people asking where it's from.
>>9221560
Let me help you out, they're hideous.
>>9221571
comfy though.
>>9221560
Hammertime.
>>9221560
I personally think they look nice and also super comfy but I guess I'm in the minority
> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Does anyone else think the style is taking a darker, gothier turn? Or that the trend is dying down... Maybe people are starting to lean more in to the gurokawa side...?
Loads of artists and girls in the scene (Kuua being the most popular example) are starting to dye their hair black/darker colors from pastels... and starting to wear more black and goth style clothing...
>>9222908
Nope and Kuua dies her hair dark all few months when it is too dead from beaching it all the time and her outfits never have been very pastel to begin with. And Gurokawa is always getting more popular in fall because everyone and their mom is releasing halloween collections, it's only the japanese name for Creepy Cute after all and that's mostly spoopy.
P.S.: People can more than one style and no, dark=/=gurokawa.
>>9222908
I wish it would get more dark
>>9223134
That's what regular guro fashion is for but that's not allowed on this board.
>>9223136
I tried to include regular old guro in my last image dump.
I prefer black/red/white myself.
Goths aren't allowed, I can't post them.
>>9223136
Why not? Something can be cute and dark I think.
>>9223150
Because anything featuring actual guro is not allowed outside /b/ by the rules, gets deleted all the time.
>>9223151
>>9223154
>>9222908
I wouldn't say it's dying either. I find tons of pictures when I'm searching 'menhera' or similar terms all the time. Problem is half of them are like... ugh, picture related.
I can't post or feel good about that shit.
>>9223164
I don't want to know how you search when you mostly get ero artwork pieces considering they are rare outside of Shisyunki Marble which the shirt is from and Senanan loves that kind of anime loli stuff.
>>9223177
Very related
http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-35726196
>>9223177
Sometimes I use foreign words in the search engine to expand the results.
Needless to say, I find a lot that isn't the sort.
Don't forget some of the pictures created by this artist are pretty iffy as well.
>>9223183
Well, people don't really tag most of their stuff and the hashtags are flooded with unrelated japanese "Follow 4 Follow" spam. It's usually easier to keep an eye on the social networks of the various artists/brands/designers.
>>9223188
Then this fashion obviously isn't for you.
>>9223194
The picture you replied to itself is perfectly fine.
>>9223188
>pretty iffy
Looks good to me
>>9223197
That's not what I meant, we are talking about a fashion where wearing ball gags and bondage accessories is a must-have, yet you find ero artworks iffy.
>>9223199
I only find ero artwork that seems to depict people too young in certain situations as iffy.
There's like... only 3 designers I can think of though that do that kind of stuff.
>>9223201
Kuua's character designs don't even look young to begin with in comparison to the stuff that "normal" brand release all the time (pic related).
>>9223204
>>9223204
I've just had bad luck with google image search lately.
>>9223212
Google isn't the best related to fashions these days anyways. Once something is trending the term gets abused by people that want to get attention using it. I usually check the tags on pixiv and look if the artist in question got a shop, they usually have customer pictures on Twitter if they do which can be nice to post.
>>9220215
I've seen quite a few people calling it pedophilic, cultural appropriative and ableist, i also saw some call out post for an artist who just drew a guide on the fashion. polite sage for being off topic/not contributing
>>9223215
Thank you for the tip anon!
>>9220808
Ah, they are bags.
Taobao has a few menhara items. Found this cute sweatshirt today:

>>9223515
Is there much information avalible about the creator?
I know he studied escapism in art school and his mother helps manage the fashion aspect of his designs, but that's all I know.
>>9223198
Seriously, why do pearl clutchers come to these threads?
>>9223698
You can read pretty much his whole bio as well the background of Menhera-chan at http://jagzzi.xyz/interview/bisko/ but it's in japanese (obviously).
>>9223756
Besides that the characters are not that young to begin with 16-22.
