They actually do go for that much second hand.
There are build a bear collectors believe it or not, and a lot of them want the "first release".

The toothless craze was because the company wasn't expecting him to do quite so well, so they only made a few, which sold out worldwide within a couple days. Because they had none at all, it took several months for them to produce enough to sell again.

This is basically the same thing as eevee. Pikachu did really well because he's the mascot, but babw was testing to see if a non-mascot would do as well, so they only made a few.
Pokemon Co is also very very very picky with their licensing so pokemon are harder to produce than other characters or generic animals (they almost didn't let us do it at all because of issues with pikachu)

But yes, eevee is coming back. More than likely some time this month or next

Well for me it's like;
I've seen cute fursuits and I've seen cute fursuits in cute coords.
My issue comes when either outfit looks out of place and they don't match the two outfits together. I think it can work well when the dress has a similar or complimentary color scheme to the fursuit, or vise versa (>>9225552 is always a good example), but most furries don't do that and that's when I'm less excited to see it. They tend to just look bad.

so the local hospital where I grew up did this thing with all the high schools home ec classes. We would make heart shaped pillows following a template, and stuff it tightly, because having something to press over their stitches when moving and coughing helped prevent irritation and loosening. We literally had stencils to trace onto the fabric, and then sew on the line, and then stuff em. But the kids in my class routinely churned out the most misshapen shit somehow. Either they didn't know how to cut fabric properly, or only knew how to sew in a straight line, or honestly I don't know but my teachers had to be really fast on catching it cus we wasted a fuck load of fabric that way.

Granted in this class I was one of three people who could be trusted to actually stitch it closed properly after stuffing.

One of my closest friends is a furry. I don't really get it personally, but I don't care cuz she's cool. This kind of attitude drives us fucking crazy, she is the first person to denounce crazies and delusional people within the fandom. You don't get a free-pass to be a man/woman-child just because you're a furry.

I guess what I'm saying is, even furries themselves hate people like this, it's just much less apparent since the furries who do aren't attention seeking whores, and thus you don't hear about them anywhere near as much.

The issue is that if you are shit at drawing, its usually because you are bad at noticing mistakes. Which means even if you will compare your disgusting art to something actually great, you wont see the difference.

Best thing is to post it on forums meant for concrit. Also with drawn art things like mirroring your artwork and looking at it from a distance helps finding mistakes.
